T-Mo Samsung Galaxy S5, Note 3 and Note 4 all get software updates

Before we all get too excited, no, it’s not Android 5.0 Lollipop. However great that would be. Today, three popular Samsung flagship models on T-Mobile’s network received over-the-air updates. Android 4.4.4 update arrives for T-Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 model)

  A couple of readers got in touch this morning, and last night, to inform us that they started seeing over-the-air updates arrive for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition. Windows Phone 8.1 update arrives for T-Mobile Lumia 521

Last week, the Lumia Cyan/Windows Phone 8.1 update finally arrived for the Nokia Lumia 925 on T-Mobile. Windows Phone 8.1 update for T-Mobile Lumia 925 lands (at last!)

Last night, Microsoft and T-Mobile began the long-awaited rollout of Windows Phone 8.1 to its Lumia 925-toting customers. The newly released software also supports T-Mobile and GoGo’s inflight Wi-Fi texting. If there’s one negative about buying carrier-locked Android devices, it’s that you have to wait for a long time before you get your software updates.
