T-Mo Galaxy S5 firmware update available

This morning, T-Mobile and Samsung rolled out an OTA update for the Galaxy S5. It’s not a major software update by any means, but it is a firmware update designed to boost performance and reliability. It’s still Android 4.4.2, but with baseband version G900TUVU1BNG4. Update details simply states “Improved performance” for the 87MB download. Pretty vague, and certainly a minor improvement. Android 4.4.3 software update available for T-Mobile HTC One (M8)

Although it’s not yet showing up in T-Mobile’s support pages, we’ve been sent screenshots by a T-Mobile customer whose HTC One M8 received a major software update this morning. Software build number 2.22.531.5 has been released which includes – among other things – Android 4.4.3. Lumia Cyan with Windows Phone 8.1 update rolling out from today

Earlier this year at its own special event, Microsoft showed off what was coming next for Windows Phone, alongside some new devices (Lumia 635 and 930). T-Mobile LG G2 getting software update, includes Knock Code

From today, LG G2 users on T-Mobile should be receiving software updates on their devices. Android KitKat 4.4.2, build D80120e is being made available and features LG’s Knock Code security feature as well as some improvements to Google Wallet, auto brightness, visual voicemail, Wi-Fi calling as well as some security fixes. Galaxy Note 3, LG G Flex, Galaxy Light VoLTE software updates available

Yesterday, T-Mobile switched its VoLTE service on in Seattle. Alongside the big “switch on”, T-Mo announced that three of its handsets would receive software updates, allowing them to take advantage of VoLTE: Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Light and LG G Flex.
