So, as you know, I got my hands on the Galaxy S5 on Monday evening. It’s now Thursday, and I finally found a chance to upload my hands on video. You’ll have to forgive me for the “Phonedog.com” intro and sign-off. I’d been introducing videos for Phonedog all day, it kind of got engrained in me. We’re still yet to receive information on the Galaxy S5′s launch date on T-Mobile. We know it’s April, and we know … [read full article]

One of our astute readers was browsing through the T-Mobile online store and spotted the Galaxy S5 has a placeholder, now showing the full retail price of $672. Although it’s seemingly a little expensive, it’s worth noting that it’s only $48 more than the current price of the Galaxy S4. Once you click on the phone and view its overview page, the pricing information disappears. In terms of monthly commitments, … [read full article]

And while it may not look incredible, it is – in my opinion … [read full article]

Samsung Galaxy S5 to be unveiled at Unpacked event in Barcelona, Feb 24?

Over the past few months, rumors of the next Galaxy S device have been building. And – while we haven’t been posting them – I’ve been keeping an eye on everything that’s been speculated so far. If it all pans out, we’ll have a device with a 2K display, iris scanner, fingerprint sensor and a new version custom skin supposedly called Magazine UI, that takes a vastly different approach than what we’re used … [read full article]

Some have arrived. Firstly, above is the most clear proof … [read full article]

“Un-leash with T-Mobile” ad promotes $0 down on Galaxy devices plus a sly dig at AT&T

Along with its $0 down holiday promotion on Samsung and Apple devices, T-Mobile has produced a new ad. Dubbed “Un-leash with T-Mobile” the ad focusses on the $0 down on all Galaxy devices promotion, but covers all the essential USPs (unique selling points) of Tmo. Not only are the devices at a great price, they’re for sale without any “restrictive annual service contracts, no upgrade run-around and best of all, no AT&T.” The ad is colorful, energetic … [read full article]
