HTC M7 Rumored For Every Major Carrier…Except For T-Mobile?

According to smartphone ninja tipster @evleaks, T-Mobile may be the only nationwide carrier to pass on the launch of HTC’s upcoming M7 handset. Let’s be clear however and add that the Twitter account only adds that there is no evidence for T-Mobile — but that doesn’t mean T-Mobile is going to be the last one standing at the dance. “Lacking evidence” isn’t a sure thing, and while its still possible T-Mobile won’t carry … [read full article]

Samsung Galaxy S4 being released in April?

Since T-Mobile has carried all previous versions of the flagship Galaxy S, it’s fair to assume that when the next one arrives, we’ll get that one too. We just don’t know exactly when the handset is to be announced or released. But, if the latest roundup of rumors is anything to go by, the S4 (codenamed ‘Altius’ allegedly) will be announced at a Samsung Unpacked event in March, a similar time frame to … [read full article]

New Rumor Says Samsung Galaxy Note III Will Feature 6.3″ Display

If a new Korea Times report is to be believed, Samsung is planning to produce a 6.3″ display for their next generation Galaxy Note for a 2013 arrival. That’s a pretty big bump in display size considering the jump between the current Galaxy Note II and its predecessor was only 0.2″. According to the Korea Times rumor mill, Samsung will work to maximize display real-estate with a new OLED model. Exact specs for the Galaxy Note III are unknown, but if the … [read full article]

Rumor: T-Mobile “All Hands Day” Set For September 21st – 24th

With all the iPhone and refarming news we’ve seen come out of T-Mobile in the past few days, or really come through us in the past few days — our curiosity is again piqued as word drops that T-Mobile is holding “all hands days” from September 21st-24th. Coincidentally, these are the same days that AT&T and Verizon are both rumored to have employees working with the release … [read full article]

Android Activations Hit 900,000 Per Day, Andy Rubin Not Going Anywhere

The rumor mill is often a dangerous place and this weekend was a prime example of that as a weekend “story” spiraled out of control this weekend and had some believing the “father of Android,” Any Rubin was preparing his exit from Google. The good news is that Rubin quickly squashed those rumors on both Google+ and Twitter, adding that Android was now seeing over 900,000 daily activations. Quite the achievement for the … [read full article]

The Galaxy S III…Disappointment Or Give It To Me Now

As all the Galaxy S III details came out during yesterdays Samsung Mobile Unpacked event, first reactions were ultimately very different from what many had hoped to “feel.” For many, the Galaxy SIII launch was a disappointment, for others it was quite a step forward for Android. Last night, DroidDog’s own Joey Lehto took to the blog and wrote down his own thoughts on the Galaxy S III launch, and he wasn’t … [read full article]

Samsung Galaxy S III Spotted In Samsung Promotional Video At CES?

There’s some interesting hype going around the internet this morning about a smartphone mockup that surfaced in Samsung’s CES 2012 wrap-up video. If you hit the 7:10 mark, you’ll note a mocked up looking smartphone unlike anything Samsung currently has on the market. It’s likely nothing more than a photoshopped rendering, but given the super small bezel, rounded corners and the lack of info in the status bar — well, we’re guessing this … [read full article]

LG-P699 Aka T-Mobile Optimus Net Receives Bluetooth Approval

We’ve seen the name LG Gelato pop up on the T-Mobile rumor mill before and now we see that the LG-P699 destined for T-Mobile has received Bluetooth approval. While the phone pictured looks a lot like the recently released LG Optimus Net we also have reason to suspect that the LG Gelato and Optimus Net are one and the same on T-Mobile. With clear T-Mobile USA branding on this leaked image further … [read full article]

HTC Sensation 4G Still Set For June Arrival

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the HTC Sensation 4G is one of the most anticipated handsets on T-Mobile in recent memory and with the rumored launch just under two weeks away T-Mobile has been silent. While there has been plenty of evidence leading to a June 8th date (July 12th for Target) nothing concrete has come forward from the Magenta mothership. Further solidifying a mid-June release … [read full article]

T-Mobile Not Among Leaked Galaxy S 2 Carrier Branding?

A story making some waves this morning through the T-Mobile community comes courtesy of Pocketnow who uncovered the carrier branded names of the AT&T, Sprint and Verizon editions of the Galaxy S 2. T-Mobile was notably absent from the list of acquired carrier names and an immediate assumption was made that T-Mobile might not be carrying the Galaxy S 2. We feel compelled to remind people that there were multiple editions of … [read full article]
