Nothing terribly exciting in this round of the Nexus S news cycle but Engadget discovered a new Samsung Nexus S filing to the FCC. Running under the Samsung GT-i9020T model, the filing lends a little more credence to the release date being sooner rather than later. T-Mobile Teams Up With AT&T & Verizon To Bring NFC Mobile Wallet System To The U.S

Today, T-Mobile announced that it is teaming up with the other two major U.S carriers, AT&T Mobility and Verizon Wireless to bring Isis, a mobile payment system to customers. Isis will use near-field communication (NFC) based technology to allow smartphone owners to use their handsets as a form of payment, thus replacing the need to carry around credit cards or even cash. The Nexus S leaks continue, with another leaked image from Best Buy internal systems. This particular snapshot shows some specs of the Nexus S and confirms T-Mobile as the designated service provider for the handset. According to the image, the Nexus S, sadly, won’t be 4G capable as the technology details reveal the handset is only able to handle HSUPA 5.76 (uplink)/7.2 (Downlink).
