Senate passes new phone unlocking bill

This afternoon, the Senate passed a bill that will allow consumers to switch carriers and keep their same phone once their contract is up. The bill was passed unanimously. Nokia Lumia 635 – first impressions

This week finally saw the arrival of Microsoft’s latest budget handset, and I got my hands on the international, unlocked GSM model. AT&T: T-Mobile’s data roaming proposal would “violate the Telecommunications Act”

T-Mobile recently put forward a petition to the FCC asking it to rewrite data roaming rules. But AT&T has called the proposal unlawful.
