The use of mobile payments in the “real world” still seems a long way off, but a newly formed group calling itself the Mobile Payments Committee hopes to make some real progress in the field. Today, T-Mobile announced that it is teaming up with the other two major U.S carriers, AT&T Mobility and Verizon Wireless to bring Isis, a mobile payment system to customers.
