iPhone Cable Appears In T-Mobile Stores, Why?

David’s Update: I’ve amended the text below since at least a few took some of the wording out of context. This cable absolutely does NOT prove T-Mobile is getting the iPhone, especially tomorrow.  You shouldn’t return a recently purchased device waiting for this and you shouldn’t start camping outside your local T-Mobile.  The arrival of this cable is peculiar and the likely solution is that T-Mobile produced a 99 cent cable it can sell for … [read full article]

So How Exactly Do iPhone, Android And Blackberry Users See Each Other?

To say that iPhone, Blackberry and Android users are an opinionated bunch would be the single most truthful statement I’ve ever made on this site.  C-Section Comics agrees and has put together this handy little cartoon to help sort out the whole smartphone wars escapade.  I could summarize it for you but it’s really just better if you look for yourself! More iPhone Rumors, YAY!

Are you sick of this yet?  It seems like with every new week comes a new iPhone on T-Mobile rumor.  Is today’s rumor different?  Sure, I mean, I guess so.  The difference today is that Canada’s Quebecor launched a mobile service through Vidéotron.  This mobile service happens to use AWS, just like our lovely Magenta.  During a Q&A session, however, one of their executive vice presidents said that Apple is readying an AWS compatible … [read full article]

Here We Go Again, T-Mobile and iPhone Rumors Persist

Another day, another rumor.  Yesterday we heard about merging with Sprint, but what about surpassing them?  Well, it is very possible that that could happen if this particular rumor came true.  It’s not the first time we have been on this roller coaster, but yet another analyst says the iPhone is coming to T-Mobile.  Tee Examiner’s source says “There were talks about it, then strong rumors. Then, there were problems with … [read full article]

Hey T-Mobile Users! Rooting & Jailbreaking No Longer Gives You Prison Fears

Here’s a bit of good news for those of you that love jailbreaking and unlocking your iPhones and for those that can’t live without rooting your Android handsets. Today, the United States government has announced that jailbreaking and unlocking iPhones, and rooting of Android phones is completely legal as long as they are not violating copyright laws. Although if rumors are true (fingers crossed), you won’t have much longer to worry about jailbreaking/unlocking to … [read full article]

Stop The Presses, iPhone Coming To T-Mobile In Q3?

Cult of Mac, certainly a trusty and prominent Mac related website is reporting that T-Mobile is in the “advanced stage” of talks with Apple to bring the iPhone to T-Mobile. This “highly placed source” pegs the chances of a T-Mobile iPhone at “80 percent likely that the iPhone will be coming to T-Mobile in Q3.” Those are some damn nice odds in the favor of T-Mobile. Of course this, like any iPhone rumor is … [read full article]

Comparison Chart, T-Mobile Vs iPhone 4

It’s not uncommon for carriers to release a bullet point comparison sheet when a competitor is about to drop a major device onto the scene. Considering it doesn’t get any bigger than iPhone 4, the fact that T-Mobile has a comparison chart available for its employees is hardly news. We think its well beyond safe to say that Sprint and Verizon have either posted their own or will do so in the coming days. What’s … [read full article]

T-Mobile Next U.S. Carrier To Get iPhone Love, Not Verizon?

Here we go again…yet another analyst has predicted a T-Mobile USA iPhone. The lastest comes from Kaufman Bros. analyst Shaw Wu who claims that Magenta is a more likely fit for the iPhone’s next home in the U.S. rather than Verizon Wireless, because T-Mobile’s 3G network wouldn’t require Apple to build a separate iPhone to support it. “Currently, T-Mobile’s 3G service (UMTS/HSPA) supports 1700 MHz and 2100 MHz frequencies while AT&T supports 850 MHz and 1900 MHz frequencies,” Wu … [read full article]
