T-Mobile Teases Twitter Contest, Sensation 4G Prizes

In case you didn’t win an HTC Sensation 4G (or didn’t enter) from T-Mobile’s Father’s Day 2011 Facebook contest you’ll have another chance to try and win this time via Twitter. We’re a little short on details as T-Mobile has only begun teasing some sort of a trivia contest with three Sensation 4G phones being offered up as prizes. We don’t know what kind of questions T-Mobile will ask but given … [read full article]

HTC Posts Sensation 4G Commercial, Says We Are All “Sensational”

Well it looks like HTC is stepping up to the plate and giving the HTC Sensation 4G some more marketing love with a thirty second spot telling us all “you are the next Sensation.” It’s a proven message since we all know we’re all sensational. Just kidding but it’s a great thirty second spot highlighting some of the fun we all have in life and why your phone can help share and capture the memories. … [read full article]

HTC Sensation 4G Now Available (Kind Of), T-Mobile Teases Wednesday Morning Online Orders

Well it’s June 15th and the HTC Sensation 4G is very much on T-Mobile’s website though it appears to be “temporarily out of stock?” Without a pre-order and knowing that retail stores have received unusually high volume I’m a little confused as to why there is an out of stock message. We’ve pinged T-Mobile and asked them what’s going on so we’ll update the post as soon as we get a response. … [read full article]

Can Someone Please Tell Me Where The HTC Sensation 4G Marketing Is?

There are a number of reasons why many think T-Mobile is on the chopping block to AT&T but I firmly believe one of the key failures of T-Mobile in recent memory has been marketing. Now let me preface this by saying I fully understand T-Mobile doesn’t have a Verizon-sized budget for marketing and we aren’t going to get DROID-like commercials and I’m ok with that. I do however want one commercial, just … [read full article]

Walmart Selling HTC Sensation 4G For $148.88

While Walmart has already been selling the HTC Sensation 4G for a few days now, their most recent Sunday circular shows the official pricing  as $148.88. Of course they are also claiming the Sensation 4G has a 4.5″ screen so someone at Walmart didn’t do their homework. That’s still not as bad as T-Mobile’s website claiming the phone is capable of 42Mbps HSPA+ 4G speeds though so we’ll give Walmart … [read full article]

(Updated) T-Mobile Announces Sensation 4G Giveaway Details

Update: T-Mobile just added an additional Tweet for those who don’t have a pic with dad. Posting a pic with your child or someone you looked up to as a kid are both perfectly acceptable. Classy move by T-Mobile since not everyone can post the photo with dad. Bravo for allowing everyone to enter. In combination with T-Mobile’s just announced Father’s Day 2011 promotion comes the follow up … [read full article]

HTC Flyer Hits FCC Complete With AWS Bands

This isn’t the first evidence we’ve had of the HTC Flyer arriving on Magenta shelves but it’s certainly the most tangible evidence we’ve come across. The FCC just granted approval to the HTC Flyer with support for T-Mobile’s AWS frequencies. There appears to be no difference between the Wi-Fi version of the HTC Flyer and this particular AWS version other than the ability to use 3G/4G data. Of course no word … [read full article]

T-Mobile Tweets Father’s Day Sensation 4G Giveaway

There are some key words that just peak our attention on Twitter and they are “father’s day, Sensation 4G, celebrate, next week, smartphones,” and they just make my heart sing. We’ll find out more details on Monday as we’re unsure if this will last all week or be … [read full article]

T-Mobile Website Accidentally Suggests HTC Sensation 4G Is 42Mbps Capable

It’s unfortunate when website hiccups like this occur as future Sensation 4G owners are possibly led to believe that the phone will support these kinds of speeds. The reality is the Sensation 4G, like all good HTC phones in the US running on the T-Mobile network, has the standard HSPA+ radio that supports 14.4Mbps speeds. The HTC product page for the Sensation 4G confirms the 14.4Mbps download speed max so … [read full article]

T-Mobile G2 Warranty Replacement Units Coming With Gingerbread?

A big shock happened for at least one T-Mobile G2 owner who recently had to replace his G2 for warranty reasons as his replacement already had Android 2.3 Gingerbread installed. The thing is, he isn’t alone as at least a handful of G2 owners have experienced the very same thing happening this week. It’s an odd turn of events for the T-Mobile G2 this week as first word comes down … [read full article]
