Our Magenta and HTC aren’t quite finished with their surprises and yet another “goodie” has been found for the upcoming T-Mobile HTC HD2. Just yesterday, we discussed that the U.S HTC HD2 would support multitouch, and now there is word on the interwebs that Magenta’s HTD HD2 will be the perfect entertainment handset. Thanks to a leaked T-Mobile HTC HD2 ROM, there are new findings regarding said entertainment features on this gorgeous handset. First, but not least the HTC HD2 will include a dedicated Amazon Music Store for all your music needs. Second, it will include E-Reader content, although you probably already knew this thanks to our leak of the HD2 all the way back in October. More importantly, the HD2 will come bundled with games like Prince of Persia, Ferrari GT, Tetris and Guitar Hero. Its nice to see HTC making use of that powerful SnapDragon processor. The leaked T-Mobile HD2 ROM also showed support for Mobi-TV, Slacker Radio and the presence of a BlockBuster app. Way to go T-Mobile and HTC! Keep the surprises coming!

Now that we have a better idea as to when the highly anticipated HTC HD2 will debut, it looks like Magenta’s version of the HD2 just keeps getting better and better. First we get that extra memory boost (which hints toward a Windows Mobile 7 update in the future), and now it looks like the T-Mobile branded HD2 will have support for curing cancer Swype. Swype was created by the inventor of the T9 predictive typing system used on most phones today because he felt that new text input methods for small touchscreens are sorely needed. Swype provides a faster and easier way to input text on any screen. With one continuous finger or stylus motion across the screen keyboard, the technology enables users to input words faster and easier than other data input methods—at over 50 words per minute. Maybe this will get the few of you that won’t settle for any device without a physical keyboard, to purchase the HTC HD2? Especially since it’s being said that this version is “slightly more accurate and looks much more polished than the original.”

First, reread the title… no, you are not crazy and neither am I. For once (or so it seems) a US bound headset is actually going to be better than that of it’s brother from across the pond. In this case, we are talking about the HTC HD2. The T-Mobile bound version will be getting a nice jump in ROM (from 512 MB to 1 GB), a jump in RAM (from 448 MB to 576 MB) and will come with a 16GB microSD card, all powered by that wonderful 1 GHz Snapdragon processor. So yes, it does sound like this will be fast. As a side note, it should also be mentioned that the T-Mobile USA version may be the only one to get Windows Mobile 7.0, or just Seven (depending on what Microsoft calls it). If Windows Mobile were my thing, I would be all over it, I guess I could make an exception for this HTC Sense laden, monster piece of hardware. A while back we showed you that nice little leak, where it is clearly pointed out that the HTC HD2 was coming to T-Mobile USA. Today HTC has confirmed that the HTC HD2 will be arriving to the U.S Q1 2010–T-Mobile anyone? And by the looks of it, the HD2 will be sporting Windows Mobile with HTC’s lovely Sense UI. We already have the Touch Pro II, and this would be a great addition to T-Mobile’s Windows Mobile handset lineup. If you missed the unboxing video click here to check it out. Let’s all keep our fingers crossed and hope this bad boy lands on T-Mobile USA early 2010. Feel free to express your thoughts/opinions in the comments! Will you be getting the HD2 if it comes to T-Mobile?
