myTouch Slide Software Update Coming Tomorrow?

We received word late last night that the myTouch Slide will be receiving a maintenance update starting August 4th and running through August 19th. The usual set of bug fixes is expected here (battery life, software feature updates etc…) but unfortunately this has no relation to an expected Froyo 2.2 update sometime down the road.
