T-Mobile To Introduce Lower Priced Unlimited Plan?

We’ve just received word through our ninja grapevine that T-Mobile is set to introduce two revamped individual unlimited plans for both Even More and Even More Plus customers. Accordingly, T-Mobile will lower the price of the Even More individual unlimited plan to $79.99 (from $99.99) and for Even More Plus customers, that price would be further reduced to $69.99. While Even More Plus is currently on the back burner and you almost have … [read full article]

T-Mobile Drops Official Statement On Even More Plus Availability

On Sunday there was a simple but surprisingly odd revelation that T-Mobile no longer offered the Even More Plus plans through T-Mobile.com.  In the past few days we’ve managed to pick up on quite a few theories, both public and private, about what brought about this change.  Well, T-Mobile has released official word regarding this and, while we are taking it at face value, we can’t but ask if this isn’t just a pre-cursor … [read full article]

Reminder Of New Rate And Data Plans Launching Today, Even More Plus Going Away?!

Update: There seems to be a bit of confusion regarding the Even More Plus plans and I thought it would be nice to try and clarify. No official word from T-Mobile indicates these plans are gone. Both customer service and retail store reps are both able to offer them to walk in or calling customers. However, the removal of them from the website and even now at 8:30PM EST the EM+ plans are still unavailable … [read full article]

Right On Cue, T-Mobile Unveils 3000 Minute Family Plan

Right on cue, T-Mobile has unveiled its newest rate plan addition in the form of a 3000 minute Family Plan for both Even More and Even More Plus customers.  As previously mentioned, some of you may ask why T-Mobile unveiled a rate plan at a price point that’s already offering unlimited minutes?  Of course, not everyone needs unlimited minutes but 1500 just isn’t enough.  On top of that, currently both Even More and Even … [read full article]

Leaked T-Mobile Calender Contains Four Upcoming Devices?

Thanks to my friends over at Phonedog who received a juicy training calendar that contains secrets regarding upcoming products and services.  We can take guesses at some of the information, but for some we are just going to have to inquire a little further.  For instance, both July 21st and July 28th are scheduled for handset launches.  Considering we have been calling for a July 21st launch date for the Samsung Galaxy S, … [read full article]

T-Mobile Removes EMP Migration Fee

Update: Apparently “eligible” means out of contract, so those still in contract obviously can’t migrate until finished. That makes sense. Loyal customers, T-Mobile hasn’t forgotten about thee. Starting February 15th “eligible” customers will be able to migrate to an Even More Plus plan without being charged that lovely $35 fee that was enacted last October. Nothing much else to see here, other than the fact that T-Mobile knows loyal customers deserve something and that … [read full article]

Unlimited Plan Breakdown

While we work on a complete and total breakdown of the new T-Mobile Even More/Even More Plus rate plans, Fierce Wireless has put out a cheat sheet. Breaking down the offerings of the big 4, and showing the advantage of T-Mobile plans versus the competition, the breakdown will hopefully put out a few of the fires I’ve been reading in your comments. Conspicuously leaving out MetroPCS, Boost Mobile and other regional carriers who might otherwise offer … [read full article]

Even More Rate Plans Explained

As you may already be aware (its only been on the blog a few hundred times) T-Mobile officially launched its newest rate plans as of Sunday, October 25th 2009. T-Mobile announced a new approach to truly show itself as the cheapest carrier compared to AT&T and Verizon. Yesterday during the “So You Think You Can Dance” show, T-Mobile aired its newest T-Mobile ad to explain the Even More Rate plans. And I have to say I’m impressed with T-Mobile. Did T-Mobile Let The Pitch Go By?

Sat at the keyboard all morning wondering how best to word this article. We’ve been talking about Project Dark for almost a full two weeks, and after all speculation, hype, and confusion and questions still remain. We have concluded however, that we really don’t what kind of  impact these plans will have. We’ve been a little rough on the magenta lately, yet let there be no question we want the Even More and Even More Plus plans to succeed. … [read full article]

Project Dark Day 2, Love it, Hate it, or Meh?!

Many people are saying project Dark didn’t quite take the wireless world by storm like we had all hoped, speculated or hyped. That being said, T-Mobile did introduce some “game-changing” features by moving away from the typical wireless practices the big 4 continue to deliver. How the industry receives these practices is a question that may not be answered for some time. Until then, we at Tmonews want to ask your first impressions of these plans. We’ve … [read full article]
