FCC Chairman Says They Will Investigate Phone Unlocking Ban

As the law banning phone unlocking enters into another month, FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski told TechCrunch will investigate the DMCA decision. T-Mobile Releases Statement Regarding DMCA Phone Unlocking Restrictions

With the clock ticking toward the January 26th DMCA deadline for unlocked phones, T-Mobile has released a statement indicating their position. DMCA Law To Make Unlocking Phones Illegal After January 26th

T-Mobile’s “bring your own phone” campaign is about to take a bit of a dive as the Digital Millennium Copyright Act will make it illegal to jailbreak and unlock phones.
