T-Mobile To Introduce “Value, Classic” Plans, Replace Even More Plus

After doing a little teasing yesterday regarding T-Mobile’s plans to revamp their current rate plan selection (again) beginning in late July. We’re still compiling information which means all of this is subject to change but we’re pretty confident the end result will look similar. According to our ninjas T-Mobile plans to kill off their Even More Plus plans once and for all and introduce “Value” and “Classic” plans.  Value plans are very … [read full article]

Internal Shots Confirm Rollout Of 2GB Data Plan Tomorrow

In an effort to confirm our story from early yesterday morning regarding T-Mobile launching a new 2GB data offering we’ve received some ninja screen shots. There aren’t any new details here but perhaps seeing something in writing or in pictures makes it all the more believable. As a quick recap, T-Mobile will launch a new 2GB data plan for $39.99 ($31.99 with existing voice plan) and will remove the overage plan on … [read full article]

T-Mobile Changes Price Point Of Upcoming 10GB Data Plan

Just days after we grabbed a screenshot of the upcoming changes to the webConnect price points, T-Mobile has gone and done a little revamping. Unfortunately, the changes aren’t for the better as the higher end 10 GB plan moves up from $79.99 to $84.99 prior to the 20% discount if grouped with a voice plan. We’re a little disappointed by this change and can’t for the life of us understand the … [read full article]

T-Mobile Says No Way To Raised Prices For 4G Usage

While there was certainly a lot to look forward to coming out of the T-Mobile announcement in terms of data speeds, the most important point was that T-Mobile will not raise data plans for 4G usage.  T-Mobile said unequivocally that they don’t believe they need to charge a “premium or “toll” for 4G use.  This is great news, just great news as other carriers plan tiered pricing structures for use with their upcoming … [read full article]

Reminder Of New Rate And Data Plans Launching Today, Even More Plus Going Away?!

Update: There seems to be a bit of confusion regarding the Even More Plus plans and I thought it would be nice to try and clarify. No official word from T-Mobile indicates these plans are gone. Both customer service and retail store reps are both able to offer them to walk in or calling customers. However, the removal of them from the website and even now at 8:30PM EST the EM+ plans are still unavailable … [read full article]

T-Mobile Adding Data Plan To New Data Lineup?

After some apparent confusion regarding the delay of the 200MB data plan set to launch tomorrow for T-Mobile, they have readied a second plan to launch November 14th along with it. The $15 200MB plan will NOT require a contract extension and can be added to any existing rate plan. I’m a little curious by the line that says, “New even more promotional plans will launch to support this new feature…” Are we … [read full article]

T-Mobile Announces New Holiday Offerings

While these devices won’t be all that we will see from T-Mobile this holiday season, (myTouch4G anyone?) T-Mobile has announced that four Android devices will be priced under $100 this holiday season. There is little surprise here as all of these phones have been individually announced and the Motorola Charm has been available for some time. However, it’s nice to see T-Mobile remember that times are tough and that plenty of customers will be budget … [read full article]

T-Mobile Delaying Arrival Of 200MB Data Plan?

We received word late last night that T-Mobile had put the 200MB data plan launch on hold for as of yet undetermined reason. We could speculate that perhaps it’s due to problems with implementation on their backend or speculation of a possible revamp but I’m betting it’s the former. I know there were plenty of you excited for an offering that didn’t require an unlimited purchase so we’ll be digging for answers. Of course … [read full article]
