Sony Ericsson is hands down my favorite cell phone manufacturer of all time. I have always been in love with their quick but feature rich phone icon based interface. I love the simplicity of it, the ability to hack the hell out of it and theme that baby to your heart’s content. Of course, the personalization is no more so than any Nokia would allow, but SE gets my love and adoration. Therefore, I pose the question T-mobile, wherefore art thou CS8? A while back thanks to the boys at Engadget we got wind of an August 20^th release date, we originally had thought this would drop back in early June. So I guess the question now is, wherefore art thou CS8? I guess that’s not the real question anymore, the real question is…does anyone care anymore?

Compliments of the guys at BoyGenius we are given a glimpse at the Walmart 2009 T-mobile roadmap which has quite a few goodies in them. Notably the availablity of the Gemini in July, much much sooner than the Q4 date BoyGenius tipped off a few days ago. The real surprise here is the sticker price for this introductory Blackberry, $78 with a price drop to $48 coming after a few months. That’s sure to sway even the most stingy customer from not giving Blackberry serious consideration. Next up comes the Sony Ericsson CS8, set to hit Walmart shelves in this September at the low low introductory price of $148! Of course here comes the doozy, the still questionable G1 V.2, aka the “Morrison” pictured below that apparently will drop at Walmart for the low price of $148 come this October. We’re still have a hard time swallowing the G1 V.2 moniker and the picture below is definitely different than the iteration that popped up a few days but we’ll bring the news regardless. We’ll keep digging to find out what the Samsung Spark is though it looks quite similiar to one of the leaked devices shown earlier this week and the Sony Ericsson Elle, still a mystery.

After part 1 and part 2 of our T-mobile inventory expose we bring forth one more exciting addition to the T-mobile lineup. Sony Ericssons return to T-mobile hasn’t been quite the page turner so far but things are looking up with the addition of the CS8. At the very least we get another 8 megapixel camera device to show off. As with the previous inventory shot posts, no release date or price is available but we are expecting this to drop June 24th, just in time to capture the 4th of July holiday weekend.

We got first word of this device coming out with the leaked release calender and now we get official word from the FCC. With the user manual showing clear signs of myfaves and sporting an 8.1 megapixel camera, bluetooth, wifi and gps this is a clear winner already in our book! Of course, I also have a soft spot for Sony Ericsson phones in my heart. Set to release June 24th, we’re hoping to get some more in the wild shots with this one soon, maybe Mr. Blurrycam can get to work between now and then. Hit the FCC link for more pics!
