Blackberry 9780 Now Available

So many of us discount Blackberry these days thinking they have fallen so far behind in the smartphone game they might never be able to catch up. The Blackberry 9780, launching today is a lot more evolutionary than revolutionary but perhaps the old adages “if it isn’t broke don’t fix it” applies well. The Blackberry 9700, predecessor to the 9700 was a rock, just an ultra reliable smartphone following the typical Blackberry mold. … [read full article]

Aaron Unboxes The Blackberry 9780

I have to admit a little Blackberry envy for the first time in I don’t know, a long time as I watch Aaron unbox the Blackberry 9780. Perhaps it’s just a little sentimental value for the Blackberry of old when BBM rocked my fingertips and I used to have a Transformers theme right after the first movie came out. Yeah, I did, I admit it, I was proud of my Bumblebee theme. While the Bold … [read full article]

So How Exactly Do iPhone, Android And Blackberry Users See Each Other?

To say that iPhone, Blackberry and Android users are an opinionated bunch would be the single most truthful statement I’ve ever made on this site.  C-Section Comics agrees and has put together this handy little cartoon to help sort out the whole smartphone wars escapade.  I could summarize it for you but it’s really just better if you look for yourself! T-Mobile Shows Blackberry OS Usage Declining

This will hardly come as a shock or surprise to pretty much anyone who has watched the mobile industry over the past two years or so showing Blackberry in decline. This chart looks to be pretty much on the ball with all the recent reports offering the Android platform as “the” platform right, the other major platforms seem to be declining. Even Apple is offered a declining platform in next few years and we’re … [read full article]

Blackberry 6 Says Hello On A New Video

Blackberry still holds a special place in my metaphorical “heart” for the joys I have experienced over the years using their devices. While they still remain the smart phone leader in the US, the future of that tenure is up in the air as Android continues its meteoric rise and iPhone 4 sells out just about everywhere. While we doubt the folks in Waterloo are sitting on their laurels, it does seem as though they haven’t been … [read full article]

The BB 8900 Is Old News

8900

It is always a sad day when a popular phone is killed off, and it appears that RIMs Blackberry 8900 is the next phone to be discontinued.  T-Mobile has said that the 8900 has “reached the end of it’s life cycle.”  Well, that was blunt of them.  Let’s just look towards the future, and hope for an 8910 in the future, a Pearl 9100 wouldn’t be bad either.  Honestly, I think this is … [read full article]
