So you’ve got that new Samsung Behold, and while it’s a pretty cool phone it does leave a few things to be desired – but what doesn’t, right? You’ve enable full HTML browsing, but you still have a couple of nits to pick with the device. Perhaps you think that the ringers or alerts are just not loud enough? Well, thanks to some excellent detective work from forum member spinn360 we have a possible solution to that problem for you! Spinn360 provides us with a nice little overview of the test mode settings for configuring some new volume levels for your new phone. Make sure you read through that and understand what you’re doing before making those changes though.
Thanks also go out to forum member inebriat3d for showing us how to get Google Maps on your Behold! So now you can find your way around when you go out on the town and don’t want to get lost, or need to find some cool new place to try out. It’s not too difficult to do, but it does present a few hoops to jump through, so once again, please make sure you read and understand what you’re doing before making any changes! Well, now you’ve got a decent browser, you can hear those ringtones and find your way around….what about some better gmail? Forum member fleshdeep has confirmed that by using inebriat3d’s instructions that the GMail App does indeed work on the Behold, and has the screen shots to prove it! You can try other java apps and see if they work as well.
Which brings us to our last tidbit of the night! You’ve got some pretty cool java apps on your Behold now, wouldn’t it be nice to be able to minimize one or two of them instead of exiting them out? Spinn360 is back with another admin setting to do just that!
Hopefully these little bits of information can make your new Behold just a bit more fun to use! I’d also like to thank all of the forum members that have provided the information for this entry – without you guys this stuff wouldn’t be possible!

You’ve seen the unboxing, you’ve read over the stats time and time again, you’ve had the day marked on your calendar for weeks…nay months! The day is finally here! Those days of T-Mobile Customer Service Representatives pushing the aging Wing whenever a customer brings up that “other phone” are now a thing of the past! Normally, we would have put this up a little earlier, but with the way things are around here I guess it’s better late than never right? The Samsung Behold is now available for purchase and upgrade over at T-Mobile in both Espresso and Rose for the low low price of $149.99 after that $50 mail in rebate. There has been quite a lot of excitement about this phone over in the forums, so head on over to the Samsung area and let us know what you think!

Hello Tmonews fans, once again my apologies for the slowness for which news is coming out these last few days.
Today, our fellow blogger and T-mobile aficianado Noah from Phonedog posted two videos of the Samsung Behold…
I’ll try and get a full post up sometime tomorrow about T-mobile’s official holiday announcements but with regards to the Samsung Behold we are still looking at a $149.99 price. There has been mention of a $50 dollar mail in rebate but unfortunately in my hurry to post I haven’t doublechecked to see if that’s post rebate or before rebate.
Check out the videos below for a full unboxing and review of this exciting addition to the magenta lineup!

Well I’m not gone yet so I’m going to keep you guys guessing on how many more articles go up today before I take off. That or I just want to get as much done before I leave so I can enjoy the beach! Either way, I’m sure you guys won’t mind! So please, forgive the shortness of this article as I am focused on the info at hand rather than witty remarks that I KNOW keep you all coming back!
More after the jump!

After all the G1 news in the past few weeks we’re ready to get back on track and focus on continued previews of upcoming holiday launches for magenta. Previewing the Behold a number of times has let us know you guys want more of this phone. Today we happily oblige and bring you a few shots from one of our lucky ninjas who had some hands on time with this, T-mobile’s first all touchscreen device. To answer just a few questions (again) the phone does NOT have wifi, youtube IS included, a full html browser is included as stated before and the same touchwiz interface, all previously known information. So really this whole post is just for a little more eye candy.
The expected release date remains November 10th at a price point of $149 after a 50 dollar rebate.
Seven more shots after the jump!
UPDATE: Three new shots have been added!

Last week we posted a preview of the Samsung “Behold”, the first all touch-screen phone on T-mobile USA’s network. Ignoring the strange name, we now have “confirmation” that a pink variant of the Behold exists. While this shot isn’t quite the picturesque view we would prefer, it’s sound enough to determine that a pink Behold is headed our way. Notice the MyFaves icon on the upper left-hand side of the phone? Last time we checked that is a T-Mobile exclusive icon similar in position to the black version. Judging by the metal backing, camera placement and small lift at the bottom one can certainly decipher they are one and the same device.
Newsworthy specs include html browser, 3G, 5 megapixel camera, stereo bluetooth, mobile backup and a speakerphone!
