Cupcake "Release" Schedule, Maybe?!

androidcupcake1

Thanks to a trust source over on the forum, those of you who are still waiting for the Cupcake update, can get a slightly better idea of at least the latest timeframe you might be receiving the update. While there are still 11 days before Google promises 100% of all G1 users will receive the update, take comfort in the fact that you at least have a solid idea of when your update might arrive, rather … [read full article]

T-mobile G1 V.2 Round Robin!

probably

I’m not even really sure where to begin with this story, other than to say yesterday saw quite a bit of back and forth regarding who will actually manufacturer the rumored G1 V.2. Reports yesterday actually pegged Motorola as the device manufacturer, marking their first entry into the Android marketplace. Turns out, that wasn’t exactly true. The next guess in the G1 V.2 round robin game last night was that Samsung remains … [read full article]

Samsung I7500 Video!

A recent bloggers event held in Korea apparently had a Samsung surprise in store with a hands on look at their first Android phone, the Samsung I7500. For those of who haven’t heard of this phone or didn’t click the blue highlighted link in the last sentence, this phone is T-mobile newsworthy because it has, drum roll please, the ever important 1700mhz 3G band!! The software seen in this video still isn’t finalized but if HTC … [read full article]

T-mobile To Launch "Many" Android Devices In 2009!

Didn’t … [read full article]

And I'm Back!

post_it_i_m_back

After a short getaway over the weekend I’m back and ready for some news! Looks as though I missed a lot going on, but there are just a few things to catch up on that slipped through the cracks in my absence.  Most notable is a recent New York Times report stating that Android will be coming soon to a theatre near you. Well not quite that dramatic but they are reporting that T-mobile … [read full article]

Welcome To Rumorville!

picture-112-309x3001

We’ve been hearing some rumblings about Huawei bringing Android phones to T-mobile in Q3 of this year since MWC earlier this year. A trusted source has confirmed that these phones or at least a specific model is in testing right now and is still on track for a 3rd quarter release. Details were sparse, as were specs, but we did get 5mp camera, 3.5mm headset jack, cupcake (hopefully, course!) and wifi, but no mention of UMA from … [read full article]
