MyTouch3G Version 1.2 In The Works?

So this is an interesting little tidbit sent my way in the last 24 hours. Apparently February 10th gives way to the MyTouch3G 1.2. My original thought was that the Fender edition might be this MyTouch3G 1.2. However, my source states that with some suspicion that it might be the original MyTouch3G coming with a 3.5 mm headset jack. This stems from material that hints toward two sets of accessory skus, modified to fit “both” … [read full article]

Could this possibly be the Android powered Motorola Sholes/Sholes Tablet that was rumored to be heading Magenta’s way? Or could it be another wannabe “iPhone killer”? Only time will tell! According to the FCC these are some of … [read full article]

Nexus One 3G Problems?

Now that you’ve finally managed to get your hands on the HTC Nexus One “SuperPhone”, its time to put it through the various tests, at least that’s what I usually do when I get a new toy to play with. Word has it that a very large amount of users are experiencing problems with 3G connectivity. Specifically, the phone constantly switching between 3G and EDGE networks in areas that would normally have full 3G coverage, getting poor 3G … [read full article]

While the tech world watches Las Vegas this week for any surprise mobile tech new,s the depths of the FCC contain secrets. For those of us who are T-Mobile faithful, seeing the phrase “AWS” in a FCC doc always makes our eyes widen. Though in this case, given the mega-fail of the first Garmin phone with AT&T I’m not so sure we shouldn’t just look at this and move on. Asustek, maker of the Garmin … [read full article]

Something Stinks With This Whole Thing

Update: Adding in an image below from internal T-Mobile systems showing that you can change the rate plan without question! I just tweeted about this and saw Engadget already discussed it this morning, but the notion that Google is only allowing new customers the full discount price on the Nexus One sucks. I understand that customers who just bought a phone with a subsidy two months ago don’t deserve another subsidy … [read full article]
