David’s Take On The Samsung Vibrant

Let there be no question that I had hoped to have this review up for your viewing pleasure two weeks ago.  Unfortunately, I just didn’t have the time to write down proper thoughts regarding the Samsung Vibrant.  We have heard your thoughts though! There is no question that this is T-Mobile’s top of the line smartphone.  The Galaxy S needs little introduction and I won’t bore you with pictures of the back of … [read full article]

Win Lots Of Phones, Free Phones Are Good Thanks To Phonedog

It’s not often we do shameless promotions here. Well, that’s not true as we have done it before but this time I’m doing it for my favorite pups, the Phonedog crew. They’ve asked for a little help in promoting their giveaway blitz of 5 phones from Pantech. I already know what you’re thinking – Pantech doesn’t make phones for T-Mobile. You’re right, they don’t, but why can’t you win this Pantech phone and … [read full article]

Motorola Announces Updated Android Dates For Cliq/Cliq XT

It was just the end of June when Motorola announced its delay in Android updates for both the Cliq and Cliq XT. To say that some of you were upset would be putting it mildly. The lack of communication between Motorola, T-Mobile and those that owned these devices incensed some of you particularly with the debacle of the Behold 2 update from Samsung fresh in your mind. Well Motorola has … [read full article]

Motorola Charm To Include UMA?

Could the prayers of thousands of Android and T-Mobile fans everywhere be answered if this slide is indeed what I think it is? Truthfully, I’m not really sure what to make of it, as I can’t say what exactly “UMALite” is. A T-Mobile Co-Development project would certainly make sense if both Motorola and T-Mobile partnered up to bring UMA to the Motorola Charm. I hope we aren’t making something out of … [read full article]

It’s almost August 25th, meaning the Motorola Charm launch is practically upon us. As you can see from the photos, Charm handsets have been arriving at T-Mobile stores as the staff preps displays for the big day. As we previously reported, look for this handset to go on sale for $74.99 on contract and $269.99 off-contract. I for one will definitely be purchasing one.  Reminds me of my old Blackberry days. Oh, and … [read full article]

Just like that Engadget has scored what look like the first live images of the G2 in … [read full article]

T-Mobile G2 to Release On September 29th?

As it stands at the time of this writing, we have absolutely no idea what the T-Mobile G2 actually looks like. We have no idea what the phone really contains on the inside, spec wise. We really don’t know anything except that its T-Mobile first HSPA+ phone. We know a pre-sale of some kind is going to take place and its looking like part of it is geared to current customers. That being said, … [read full article]

T-Mobile to Hear (Dell) Thunder?

In an interesting turn of events, it appears that T-Mobile may be getting the Dell Thunder as well as the Dell Lightning. Both have similar specs, but the Thunder is an Android based phone while the Lightning is a Windows 7 Phone.  Engadget, though, was able to get their hands on two early prototype Thunder units.  Apparently the hardware they have doesn’t quite match the test apps that can be found on the device.  It … [read full article]

T-Mobile Says Samsung GPS Fix Coming In September

T-Mobile released a short internal statement (Check out Engadgetmobile for the same story, different pic) to the front lines acknowledging that a fix to the Samsung Vibrant GPS issue was indeed forthcoming sometime in September. This isn’t really news however as Samsung already said as much being significantly more proactive than they were with the Behold 2.
