T-Mobile CEO Philip Humm Talks iPhone, Job Restructuring In New Interview

T-Mobile CEO Philip Humm is playing a bit of offense thanks to an interview with the Seattle Times, helping to get out of front and allay any fears that T-Mobile’s recent job restructuring cuts are of any real concern to the future of the company. Humm highlights that while 900 positions are being eliminated on one side, the company is adding 550 new positions which he believes was misunderstood. Furthermore, Humm … [read full article]

Windows Phone Owners And Haters Alike, Here’s A Lengthy List Microsoft Should Review

Warning: this article begs for a fanboy war in the comments and in this particular instance, I’m only asking to keep it clean as this is an interesting, if not completely subjective look at why Windows Phone may never be as successful as Android or even iOS without some drastic changes to the software. Don’t get me wrong, Windows Phone has incredibly smooth performance, but is that really enough to win over the masses? … [read full article]

Rumor Alert: T-Mobile Retail Employee Says Lumia 900 Is Coming?

I’m filing this story completely into the rumor category and it’s not because I don’t want it to be true, more like I’m skeptical of random T-Mobile employee comments. While this isn’t the first time we’ve heard about a possible Lumia 900 launch on T-Mobile, this story isn’t doing much to convince me. I completely trust the boys at WMPowerUser, however, I don’t know that this isn’t just a random T-Mobile … [read full article]

Nokia has indicated via a FAQ posted on their website that the Lumia Windows Phone device line will receive an update with support for a mobile hotspot feature. The Lumia 710 on T-Mobile released without a mobile hotspot feature, a small disappointment given how useful the feature has become. Have You Purchased A Nokia Lumia 710? If You Can Say Yes, You Get A Free Cover

There are times when I believe a carrier or manufacturer goes above and beyond to do something nice for their customers — and this is one of them. To claim your Xpress-On … [read full article]

Nokia CEO Says The T-Mobile Lumia 710 Is “Exceeding Expectations”

Let’s just be frank and say we honestly have no idea how Nokia’s CEO is quantifying “exceeding expectations” since we don’t have any idea what the expectations were for the Lumia 710. However, speaking at Mobile World Congress, Nokia CEO Stephen Elop was reportedly enthusiastic about the Lumia 710 and it current sales numbers. Unfortunately, he wouldn’t give up any specific market numbers, but it seems Nokia has a small hit on … [read full article]

Nokia Lumia 710 Drops Down To $39.99 On T-Mobile.com

The Nokia Lumia 710 on T-Mobile hit store shelves for $49.99 when it launched three weeks ago as T-Mobile’s newest Windows Phone. There is no indication that the the $39.99 pricing is a limited time offer so we’re thinking it’s a permanent … [read full article]

Battle Of The Mid-Range Windows Phones On T-Mobile, Dogfight!

Oh how I do love a good dogfight around these parts and this time we’re happy our man Aaron Baker took the time to compare the two newest Windows Phone devices on T-Mobile. It’s a battle of the mid-range devices, but in Windows Phone terminology, mid-range doesn’t have the same negative connotation one might consider when looking at say, a mid-range Android handset. No 800MHz processors to be found here, just solid hardware, software and specs. For … [read full article]
