Potential Update for G1 Will Need Your Help!

T-Mobile will be doing a software trial for G1 users only. This will NOT be the rumored Eclair update, sorry to say. However, this trial will reflect features similar to Google Voice integrated into the stock dialer app. It will allow you to set numbers to be ignored, integrate Visual Voicemail, and  and some other goodies. Once this software comes out of trial status, there will be other features, too, but we can’t talk about those just … [read full article]

Soon, T-Mobile will be set up to allow corporate customers who use Blackberries to make calls over their office Wi-Fi connections without using up cell plan minutes (hey, this sounds familiar).  Then, as a neat trick, the call will be automatically switched to T-Mobiles network after said Blackberry user is outside of their Wi-Fi network’s range.  T-Mobile “will charge a flat monthly fee on top of cellular rates,” all in an effort to persuade business customers … [read full article]

October 22nd holds more secrets

That’s right T-mobile is in high gear for the 22nd of October, you know the day some G1 phone launches. Oh well, phones are all the same these days, right? T-mobile is certainly doing its part lately to turn around the stigma that its slow to the punch with competitive products. No, I’m not talking about the G1 and normally I would link an article here but seriously, just keep scrolling down the page. I’m not talking about Blackberry Javelin, or the Blackberry Pearl 8220 Kickstart with the multiple names I just love saying or even the Shadow II, the … [read full article]
