While today’s attention will almost undoubtedly be focused on the Nexus One, for the last two and a half weeks or so I have been playing with the Blackberry 9700 Bold. I’ve kept the phone far longer than I was supposed to as I simply didn’t want to give it back. I love it even with all the faults of the Blackberry OS, and there are not many. The 9700 is a magnificent device for both the power user and the individual who simply relies on email.

Everyone happy with their new BlackBerry Bold 9700? Just as a reminder, don’t forget to enable Visual Voice Mail on your shiny new BlackBerry Bold 9700. To enable the FREE feature (Yes its free) all you have to do is log in to your MyT-Mobile account and go to plan and services and select Visual Voice Mail. As shown above, enabling Visual Voice Mail will let you play and replay messages in any order, save voice messages to your BlackBerry, choose how you want to respond to your messages, share special audio messages via e-mail, and create personalized greetings. Visual Voice Mail is a great feature, so add it on today! Also if you guys have any questions, our forums are a great place to get your problems resolved. Now that the Blackberry 9700 is officially available to all, we here at Tmonews wonder who is going to scoop this up? The first 3G Blackberry is arriving with a little less fanfare than we had hoped but it’s certain a welcome addition to the magenta lineup. Being the first 3G Blackberry to T-Mobile, we wanted to ask, or should say I put up a poll, to see just how many of you are looking to make this your next purchase. The countdown timer has started ticking! With only 2 days remaining of the much anticipated T-Mobile 3G enabled BlackBerry Bold 9700, there is now a User manual and Start Guide for all to read. While the launch is three days away, what is quickly becoming everyone’s favorite Blackberry is arriving in T-Mobile stores. Let me repeat that, the 9700 availability date is three days away (I’m excited). If the reports are to be believed, then T-Mobile is preparing for this phone to sell like hot cakes, since the stores are supposed to have a minimum of 25 each (Our sources are saying that the high end will be 36 though). We already had a little inkling the upcoming BlackBerry Bold 9700 would come with a $199.99 2-year commitment price tag. According to the price sheet we’ve leaked above, you can pick up a brand new BlackBerry Bold 9700 for $199.99 of course, with a 2-year commitment. If you dislike contracts (I wouldn’t blame you) the Bold 9700 will be available on November 16th for a $449.99 retail price. If you want to sign up with one of T-Mobile’s new Even More Plus plans you can divide the $449.99 retail price into 20 easy payments of $22.50/month.
The Samsung Behold 2 will also be available for the same $199.99 2-year commitment price tag and the same $449.99 retail price. Once again if you want to sign up with one of T-Mobile’s nifty new Even More Plus plans you can divide the retail price into 20 easy payments of $22.50/month. Did I mention no interest? Look, this isn’t really going to surprise anyone, but T-Mobile officially posted the Blackberry 9700 for a November 16th release date today. We’ve had suggestions it might have been pushed back two more days to November 18th having already been pushed back an entire week. As it stands, T-Mobile seems to really want to introduce their very first 3G Blackberry November 16th. Unless of course you’re a business customer, than you get it today, lucky! This Holiday, T-Mobile is scheduled to launch the first 3G BlackBerry with Wi-Fi calling, the BlackBerry Bold 9700, on November 16. The Bold 9700 launched on November 9 in the Business channel only.
The sleek and powerful BlackBerry Bold 9700 features a next-generation (624 MHz) processor, 256 MB Flash memory, Built-in GPS, Visual Voice Mail, a 3.2 megapixel camera, full-QWERTY keyboard with an innovative touch-sensitive optical trackpad.
