Lumia 640 should arrive before T-Mobile’s “confirmed” July 16 release date

Late last week it seemed we had a concrete release date for the upcoming budget-friendly Lumia 640 smartphone by Microsoft. Although its popularity isn’t likely to be quite near the likes of the Galaxy S6 or iPhone 6, it certainly feels like there are plenty out there waiting to get their hands on the next great value Windows Phone. And from my time with it, that’s exactly what I think it is. It’s … [read full article]

Whether it’s having to wait months for the Android Lollipop software for the Note 4, or just waiting for a bug fix, it’s not the best consumer experience around. And it seems Microsoft will be taking a page from Apple’s book on this front in future devices. In a post on its Ignite blog, Microsoft confirmed that … [read full article]

You guys asked for it – or at least a couple of you did – so I wanted to make sure I shared this unboxing with you. Although we don’t have any concrete release date just yet, the Microsoft Lumia 640 is going to be landing on T-Mobile’s store shelves very soon. I got my hands on the unlocked international model so that you could have a quick first impressions and overview before it eventually arrives in … [read full article]
