T-Mobile offering one year of Netflix for free with purchase of Galaxy S7 or S7 edge

When T-Mobile took pre-orders for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, it gave buyers one year of Netflix for free with their new smartphone. Now that offer is back.

T-Mobile is now offering a free year of Netflix with the purchase of a Samsung Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge. The deal will run through February 7.

To get your free year of Netflix, you’ll need to purchase or lease a Galaxy S7 or S7 edge and pay the sales tax as well as any down payment that may be included. Then go to Samsung’s promotions webpage by February 21 to enter your device info and upload your receipt, and you’ll receive a code good for one year of Netflix.

The Galaxy S7 and S7 edge may be getting close to their first birthday, but they’re still solid Android phones that’ll soon get be updated to Android 7.0 Nougat. So if you need a new phone and aren’t feeling the Galaxy S8 based on what we’ve seen of it from leaks, this new T-Mo deal may be worth a look.

Love the Netflix deals. Hopefully they add it to the new samsung phones too.

They should be more worried about getting Nougat out than Netflix…but that’s none of my business.

they should own up to their hardware issue that causes a pink line to appear before nougat

They should make Netflix free for TMo Tuesdays… That be pretty cool.

Hope they give Gear S3 Frontier and a year of Netflix for the S8 pre-orders after that whole Note 7 thing. :D

Keep in mind if you are on the 4k 4 user plan you won’t get a full year out of this deal. They only load your account with $120 which is a full year if you have the 2 user HD plan.

I still have 13 months left on my free netflix since I bought two S7’s last year when they ran this deal :)

    • Francisco Peña

they charge tax, so even less than a yr.

  • Philip

S8 is coming soon. I would just wait.

Last year’s offer was their best one yet and I definitely took advantage of it. I got two S7 Edge for the price of one with the BOGO (Buy One Get One) deal, plus I received two free years of Netflix ($240 value), 6 game oculus bundle, and a free Gear VR. I think anyone in the market for a new phone should hold off till they announce the Galaxy S8 to see what promotions come with it. $780 in 2017 for last year’s Samsung’s flagship is a tough pill to swallow IMO.

I didn’t do the BOGO, but I got 2 years of Netflix and two VR headsets (flipped one immediately on Craigslist for $70). Then don’t forget all of the Samsung Pay promos like $50 Visa gift cards and $30 Whole Foods gift cards.

    • Joe

I’m sure they will do a BOGO event again but this time they will be smart about it and give you a monthly credit instead of one fat amount on a debit card. This is so people can’t use the debit card to pay off the phone and then cancel the phone line. They lost a lot of money from people doing this (me included). I got two free gear VR’s and sold one on craigslist for $80. Should have sold the other one too since I rarely use it. $240 credit to netflix. Gave the free S7 to sister in law who needed a new phone badly.

Is T mobile still going to pick up the sales tax for this? That would mean someone porting a number could get 150 plus sales tax back, and a free year of Netflix. Not bad.

Fine print says “Web, Telesales, Costco & military locations only.” Is this strictly enforced? I seriously can’t just go buy an S7 at a TMO corporate store and get the free year of netflix??

    • AngryBadger

just read the terms and conditions… says any tmo store and costco. doesn’t mention web, telesales or military locations. odd. 3-A part of terms right?
