LG G4 deal knocks former flagship’s price down to $199.99

Looking for a good deal on a new Android smartphone for use on T-Mobile? If so, you may want to point your browser to eBay.

eBay seller cellfree is now offering the T-Mobile version of the LG G4 (model H811) for $199.99. The devices are listed as being “New-Other” condition, and the seller says that they have no scuffs or scratches on the body or screen. You can choose between a G4 with a black plastic backside or a brown leather rear. No matter which you choose, though, you’ll get an unlocked phone, a data cable, a wall charger, and free shipping.

T-Mobile has had some nice deals on the LG G4 in the past, but this sale beats those out by quite a bit. And while the G4 is no longer LG’s flagship smartphone, it still boasts a respectable feature set that includes a 5.5-inch 2560×1440 display, 16-megapixel camera, hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, microSD slot, and a removable 3000mAh battery. It’s also worth noting that the LG G4 has been updated to Android 6.0, so if you do take advantage of this deal, you’ll be able to sink your teeth into Marshmallow right away.

There’s no word on exactly how long this deal will last, but the page does say that there’s a limited quantity of G4 units available, so you may want to jump on it soon if you’re on the fence.

Thanks, Robert!

Kind of misleading headline; an aftermarket eBay offer is not the same as a “deal” (which implies sale of new handset by LG or TMO).

My Black Friday Nexus 6 deal from Amazon was no less of a deal because iy wasn’t from Google or T-Mobile.

I would still be cautious about new “other.”

I’m disappointed that this is even an article itself. Is it that much of a slow news day? You can always point out the upcoming T-Mobile Tuesdays items on Monday.

Or new B12 sightings, but no one cares about that anymore because of the fattening Tuesdays.

I sold the stock, the pizza was cold, the frosty melted, and finally, the Lyft was late.

I switched to AT&T’s Cricket rateplan today for the better coverage and service. Besides, Bands 2, 4, 5, and 17 are HUUUUUUGE. Also got $140 in credit when I brought my T-Mobile number and signed up for the straight forward service and plan.

T-Mobile Tuesdays, Camel Cash, Marlboro Miles, and other freebie programs are better suited for cigarette manufacturers and companies that need to feed customers an addiction.

Now tell me how cricket will help me if I stream 5+ gigs of music every month, none of which currently counts against my data

          Yay?

          Obvious Cricket shill..

Replaced my M9 with a certified pre owned G4 from T-Mobile for $190. Good phone overall with a camera miles ahead of the M9. I prefer the sense ui over the LG ui though. Good price but better if it was actually new.

I’m surprised a “legit” sie like this is promoting a non TM or mfr. direct sale but a sale from a seller on Ebay. Buyer beware. Comes w. only 30 day guarantee, a 3rd party charger, etc. It doesn’t say how much the phones were used. Doesn’t say anything about condition of batteries.

I agree completely. I tried buying 2 Galaxy Note 4’s off ebay in the past 2 months. The first died after 2 months, the last one only lasted 2 hours.

The one that lasted 2 hours was described as “New In Box”, but had dirt around the screen edges and the seller was around 99% Positive Feedback. I don’t trust any Ebay phones now.

Did you get your money back?

Everytime I have problem with a seller on ebay,I open a case, send in the proof they ask for,all emails I get from the seller.,I think i lost like one case. So as long as you keep the emails, ask question about the phone,or whatever you are buying off of there you will be ok.

Note 7 taking my money. LG crap sucks. They’ve started to give them away

    eBay “New other” = refurb

    • Agreed. Or it’s just a used phone in good condition, I do not like eBay. Swappa, Amazon, etc but not eBay.

The G4 is a year old, but it has a 2K screen, 3GB of ram, SD card, replaceable battery, top notch camera and Band 12 support. You could use this phone well into 2017 without feeling outdated.

DON’T BUY IT! The reason the LG G4 is being sold dirt cheap is because it has a manufacturing defect. Search the internet for ‘lg g4 bootloop’ and you will find countless customers whose G4 died within the first year due to bad connections between motherboard components. LG publicly admitted to the defect and claimed to offer repairs for phones that were still under warranty, but most phones bought outside of major carriers are not covered. I bought one on Ebay new for $500 and it died 10 months later – and LG refused to fix it.
