Alcatel OneTouch and T-Mobile are still remaining quiet with the Fierce XL with Windows 10 Mobile’s launch date, but according to a new rumor, the device could arrive this week.
A source tells Windows Central that the Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL with Windows 10 Mobile will launch this Wednesday, February 10. As a reminder, T-Mobile has confirmed that its pricing for the Fierce XL with W10M will be set at $0 down, 23 payments of $5.84, and 1 payment of $5.67. Full pricing will be set at $139.99.
This version Fierce XL will run Windows 10 Mobile build 10.0.10586.63 — an Android version was announced last year — with a 5.5-inch 1280×720 display, quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor, 2GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter. It’ll also include 16GB of storage, 10GB of which will be available to the user, and a microSD slot for adding more storage should you want it. The whole package will be powered by a 2500mAh battery.
As of this writing, T-Mobile’s sole Windows phone is pre-owned Lumia 435, so the Fierce XL will provide T-Mo with some much fresher Windows hardware. It’ll also serve as another option for folks shopping for an affordable device.
