New T-Mobile promo will knock $100 off the price of many recent smartphones

Black Friday and Cyber Monday won’t happen until the end of the month, but T-Mobile wants to give you deals right now.

T-Mobile is now running a “Super Smartphone Deals” promo that’ll give you $100 off a number of recent iOS and Android smartphones. All that you need to do is click that “Apply Coupon” button and the $100 discount will be added to your cart. Here’s the list of smartphones that are eligible for this deal:

iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, LG G4, LG V10, Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Samsung Galaxy Note 5

There are a few rules about this deal to keep in mind. Not only is this a web-only offer, but you’ll need to sign up for a qualifying rate plan, and this $100 discount isn’t stackable with other promo codes. Two details that are missing from this page are if this promo is open to everyone or just new customers, and exactly how long it’ll run. This is a pretty solid promotion, offering a sizable discount on many of the best smartphones available today, so if you’ve been thinking about picking up a new phone, you may want to do it soon.

        I’ll make it clear. I just tried with 611 and livechat. They both said that you would have to return the device back where you got it from (retail store etc) and order the device again via online. It’s just not worth it since you have to pay a restocking fee.

          This is what I was told, return the device, pay the restocking fee and order a new one online. Then I tried to talk nicely to the rep and I got a $80 discount instead of $100

      It’s a great device I have been very happy with it so far. Second screen is more for switching applications or shortcuts like a flashlight. Text notifications appear on second screen instead of main.

      Not really,call up cs,and see what they tell you,what I read on here from other people when TMO,has something like this,most of the time they will give u the discount. All depends how long ago you got your phone(in your case not too long ago) cs rep you get, you might have call a few times before u get one who is willing to help you,if that fails,you can always reach out John L. via tweeter,or email.       T-Mobile is notorious for these type of situations. They have gotten a lot better with helping their customers. I was hosed with the Galaxy S3 when they released the T999L. They managed to get me an upgrade to the GS6 Edge 64GB model for the price of the 32GB model. But long story short, got rid of the Galaxy. Nothing but problems. I have the 6S Plus and LG Nexus 5X. Not looking back.

      What are you talking about? I’m using the LG V10 it’s a nice upgrade. Freebies are worth it 200gb micro sd card $175 and LG battery with cradle $100. Better battery life than my last device LG G4.

        Reviewers on Youtube I checked were not really impressed. It seems to be just a G4 with second screen but heavier (same processor). That’s why I’m being torn between the v10 & G4.

          I looked online and can’t find ayt advance on antenna booster. The battery life is about the same or less compared to the g4. Personally the v10 would be justified at $50 price point above the g4 not much more. Its a still a good phone but not worth the upgrade from g4 or s6.

          Funny I just googled LG V10 Qualcomm Antenna booster and first site appeared. I call bs on your claim. I owned the LG G4 and noticed a improvement on battery life on LG V10.

          All i found was info on qualcomm website. So have any reliable source claiming it works? I can’t imagine it having much better battery life considering its using the same processor, bigger screen, more ram same battery size. If anything it should be roughly the same. Even gsmarena did a battery life test and it scored terrible. So I call bs on your claim.

        I know reviews are pretty subjective and some are biased. But I need to read / watch/ hear feedbacks for something this expensive as I don’t want my smile turn into frown.

        You’re that if you want it, buy it. But also take consideration that spending this much money is worth it.

      I bought the V10 the moment I handled it in store. I went in just to look at it. After a week of use, I think it is an awesome device. Coming from previous phones that had HUGE batteries(Note 2 with a ZeroLemon, ZMAX, iPhone 6s+) The battery life is not too bad. I use my device pretty constantly each day. SOT is around 5.5 hours. However, the free battery/charging cradle/memory card will lessen my worry.

      The V10 is being picked to death on line. Every little perceived flaw is being over blown. It’s big, it’s heavy, the LG skin sucks, the back is cheap, blah, blah, blah.

      It is a solid device with 64GB standard, removable battery, memory card slot, 4GB RAM. It performs screen operations/app loads/etc very quick. And it doesn’t have the terrible memory management that high end Samsung devices have.

      If you base everything upon click-bait reviews and Reddit user’s reviews without even trying it out yourself, then you will never like any device (except maybe a Nexus device with it’s perceived “pure” environment).

          Yes i called T-Mobile just because i cant upgrade online, it only shows upgrade by jump, and the phone that appears in my account is an SII which i dont have it for the past 5 years. so i called to get an upgrade link. (one representative gave me a direct upgrade link once) so she couldn’t find the link and the promo code was not appearing to her when she was clicking ADD promo code.. so she just went ahead and did the whole process and added a note that for my next billing Cycle to remove 100 off, and just charge me the taxes. and on top of that she gave me Express shipping for the price of Ground. lol can’t go wrong. and yes is the LG V10

          Oh wow that’s really good for the type of plan you have! I purchased Accessories on my EIP I just wish it was more higher limit bundle and the taxes we’re spread into the eip. I spent like $280. What’s wokward was my EIP was not affected by my LG V10 purchase on my JOD. It rasises me to question that eip are not affected while under JOD that would be nice if it is so because I am planning on purchasing iPad Pro 128gb 4 lte, I hope to get it on the JOD if not that’s like $300 out of pocket, oh plus I want the ipencil and smart keyboard so I am guessing they won’t have those in stock so that like more like close to $500. Yikes.

        Have you looked at black Friday? You can pick them up dirty cheap at places like Sam’s club. I think it’s the iPhone is on a steep discount and the S6 is like 96 cents.

  • Called my rep and was able to upgrade my current line (apply discount by crediting my account $100) and sign up to Jump on Demand. Also asked if they could send overnight and waive the fee which they did. If you find a good rep (which sometimes it’s a mission) they can do almost anything

      You simply have to be nice and T-Mobile will give you anything that a new customer can get. When you call spitting venom it’s much less likely. If the first rep won’t do it, politely ask for a supervisor.

    Man if that’s so, I am glad i jump on this fast, also i am very happy for the one’s that jump on this really fast, I just found out yesterday through T-Mobile USA twitter AmandaS that this was only suppose to be for only for new customers. This is what she said in her own words. “The $100.00 is just for brand new customers that purchased the device through the EIP.”

      I called T-Mobile this weekend regarding this deal. 1st of all, what a mess T-Mobile’s phone CS is. They put you on hold for 10 min every time u call them now and I bet you if you call 4 times u will get 3 different answers at least for the same Q. Anyways, spoke to an agent, loyalty department agent and a web promotion specialist. The loyalty department agent told me to go to the store to get this $100 deal by swapping my 2 Galaxy S6s which I got last week (Both JOD) to get 2x$100. Went to the store and I was told I have to add a tablet data line with each line (Basically new lines). The Web specialist told me this deal is for NEW Customers or when activating NEW LINES. I have a Note 4 on JUMP and it has a balance of $326 left (less than half) so I don’t know if I should jump it and get a new device or keep it

        I have noticed a pretty dramatic decline in T-Mobile’s customer service recently. A snafu a week ago regarding jumping my Nexus 6 to a V10 resulted in going through two chat reps, three phone reps, two in-store reps, and eventually only T-Force (twitter) was able to resolve the situation. Four hours of my life gone because one rep told me something another rep didn’t honor, all down the line until T-Force finally straightened it out.

        Hopefully it’s just growing pains and they’ll sort it out, because T-Mo support used to be top notch, at least since I jumped when Uncarrier 1 came out.

          I completely understand and agree. My family and I are really considering leaving T-Mo after 11 years because of the decline in their CS. I have 2 issues they haven’t resolved for over 2 months now and they are telling me to wait another 2 months. They overcharge me and when I call, they give me the overcharge in credit. Now when I call, their agents are always telling me “We gave you a lot of credits” and I have to constantly explain these “credits” they see are overcharges not true credits. I traded in an iPhone 5S and that was 2 months ago and they can’t even confirm receiving the phone. I will wait until early Jan like they suggested which is INSANE. I traded in the phone in September and I am paying $27 towards it every month. I understand they will reimburse me these payments, but that will look like they gave me “credits” again.

    Interesting… last Thursday/Friday, when I was pondering the purchase of the LG G4 for the regular price of $480 + $100 rebate, I saw the $500 SGS6. Considered it, but ultimately held back buying anything.

    Now the SGS6 is on sale with $100 off, non-stackable, at $580. Not much of a deal if it costs $80 more for Black Friday than it was earlier in the October and November.
