Holiday Deals on T-Mobile: Discount on S5, Note 3, M8 for Windows, Xperia Z3 and more…

Screen Shot 2014-11-24 at 16.44.52

Not too long ago, we got hold of information regarding some of T-Mobile’s holiday season sales. In particular, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S5 were both due to be discounted by $100. That deal is now active, along with others on T-Mobile’s holiday deals page.

Currently, several handsets have been given generous discounts:

These discounts join the free tablet offer for now available to new and existing customers to make a competitive Black Friday offering by T-Mobile. Of all of them, it’s the Galaxy Note 3 deal I find the most compelling. Just over $400 for one of the best smartphones released last year. It may not be the most recent model of Sammy’s flagship phablets, but at $416.88, it’s incredibly tempting.

I bought Galaxy S5 for my girlfriend on the 10th and walked in to T mobile store yesterday and the manager credited the EIP $100.

    • SEBA

      Thats very nice of them…

      • JaswinderSinghJammu

I think they usually do it within 14 days for anyone. But definitely nice

Header: Holiday Deals on T-Mobile: Discount on S5, “Note 4,” M8 for Windows, Xperia Z3 and more…

Question: says Note 4 looking at the list there is no mention of Note 4 so whats the catch…???

    • It’s a typo, it’s supposed to be the Note 3. I got my hopes up as that would have probably slid me from the Nexus 6 to the Note 4, heh

      • GreatNews

its a good typo, i could imagine many people just opens this cuz the word “Note 4” in the header as on sale!

      • Chris

That was my exact thought. Sick of the 0 information. Kind of feel like I should just switch to the Note 4.

    • Cam Bunton

In my defense, the ‘4’ and ‘3’ keys are very close to each other on the keyboard…

Winning comment of the day. +1

      • GreatNews

last time i checked you are right…. but if you think 3 and 4 by the note line is completely a different story….

  • william43

I gotta call and see if they can apply the discount to my recent order for the M8

    • Bilesha Welton

      Same here! Doh!

      • asdfasd

I just did and they wouldnt unless your a new customer

        • John

Some reps will and some won’t. The key is that it depends on the rep that you talk to.

        • william43

I’ve been with T-Mobile for 10 years they treat me like I’m a celebrity. The $48 means no money down & I didn’t pay taxes (technically ;)

        • william43

got it applied! W00T! unfortunately, I almost had to escalate but they took care of me.

        • Mike

Did you got to a store or did you call customer care?

        • william43

          I called.

        • Whiskers

Not true , i ordered a M8 for windows on the 10th with jump and they credited me today the $48 discount to my EIP today when i called .

So i got it for $537.60 instead of the original price of $585.60 when i bought it on the 10th ..

    • JaswinderSinghJammu

Was it within 14 days? They should.

IMHO, the LG L90 is a heck of a phone at 100 bucks…the downsides are the Camera and no LTE. A great first phone for a kid.

    • John

They had the LG L90 for sale for $24 during the summer saving offer for T-Mobile customers who had an account in good standing, 3years or more tenure with the company, and had at least one line that did not have an active EIP.

  • brybry

is this online only or instore as well?

    • william43

The webpage says online only, but per comments the stores may honor it.

  • LondonCalling

OK it comes down to the Z3 or Galaxy S5 for me. I am a heavy user and usually upgrade every 1.5 years. Please Internet’s choose for me!!!

    • Mike

They are both really good devices. I personally went with the Z3 and i love it.

    • neospade44

Z3, waterproof for those days jogs out in the rain and battery longevity to last you 2 days. Also, Sony has already stated to upgrading the Z3 to Lollipop, Samsung hasn’t.

    • LondonCalling

Thanks for the advice. Zed 3 it is then, but going to wait for Thursday so I can double dip into the accessories deal.

  • Bilbo

    Only for new accounts. Weak.

  • steveb944

Anyone has any luck with current/not new accounts? I did just port a new number, they got an iPhone sans a discount, so I may use that excuse for getting it on the old line.

    • JamesG

I dont understand what you are asking

      • steveb944

Did any current customers get in on these offers, since it says new only.

        • Bilbo

I called, talked to a couple reps, and no luck.

        • John

I have been with T- Mobile over 9 years and have 4 lines on my account. A family member who has a line on my account upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy S5 last week. She put it on EIP and the total was $609. After this promo began on the 21 st I called the T-Mobile store and spoke to the manager about this. He credited the EIP by $100 brining the EIP total to $509.

        • william43

          I got it.

  • dontsh00tmesanta

got the gs5 from a tmobile store….but thing is it upgraded a byod line

    • Bilbo

      EIP or full retail?

      • dontsh00tmesanta

        Eip got the $100 off

  • notyourbusiness

FYI, might want to fix the “read full article” link because it takes me to T-Mobile’s page on the Galaxy S5.
