Some more good news for T-Mobile as Kantar World Panel reported the company saw a growth in sales on the strength of iPhone. In fact, T-Mobile grew to 13.2% of smartphone sales in the US market for a three-month period ending this past August, marking the highest share of sales over the past year and a growth of 1.1%. These numbers reversed a trend of year-over-year decline for T-Mobile. As for where the … [read full article]

T-Mobile Retiring Classic Plans In National Retail Channels Beginning November 1st

In a move that I firmly believe has been a long time coming, T-Mobile sent out an alert this morning informing employees that they were stopping Classic Plans at national retailers. Unfortunately, the image doesn’t say what is forthcoming for the company’s national retail partners, but I imagine this may have something to do with the third phase of T-Mobile’s … [read full article]

Rumor Round 2: Uncarrier Phase 3 To Include Refurb Phones In Stores

Happy Friday folks and welcome to rumor round 2 for T-Mobile’s Uncarrier Phase 3. The good news in this, the second rumor on Phase 3 that I’ve posted is more confirmation for the idea that T-Mobile will remove deposits for Simple Choice customers. Now, before I move on…it seems some clarification is in order for the word “deposit.” A deposit is a dollar value carriers can require above and beyond the price … [read full article]

BlackBerry Devices No Longer Available Inside T-Mobile Company-Owned Stores

In a move we knew was coming in the very first week of September has now made the news cycle rounds day. According to a Reuters report, T-Mobile has made the decision not to sell any BlackBerry devices in their company-owned retail store locations. I’m honestly not sure why the store is breaking today when company management began filtering this message down earlier in the month. That being said, it’s an unfortunate … [read full article]

We had been working for months and months with a small team in … [read full article]

Has Your Smartphone Ever Gone Through The Laundry? T-Mobile JUMP! Can Help

T-Mobile’s JUMP! commercials may be silly, but I’d be lying if I said I never “accidentally” put my phone through the wash. We all know what happens when you walk into your local carrier store afterwards…only to discover you have no insurance. T-Mobile JUMP! may be just what the doctor ordered for anyone who has ever experienced this unfortunate laundry scenario. Going from touchscreen to melted-screen is frustrating. Luckily, T-Mobile JUMP!™ … [read full article]
