T-Mobile Adds HTC One Software Update To Support Documents

While the OTA software update itself started to roll out yesterday morning, T-Mobile just updated their support documents for software version 1.27.531.8. Originally suspected to help with some of the capacitive button issues HTC One owners had, the official document pertains only to “visual voicemail performance.”

That’s not to say that other bug fixes didn’t sneak in but according to all things official, only visual voicemail was affected by this update. Hopefully, the update did work some magic on those capacitive button concerns and we won’t see another small update roll out in the near future.

Feel free to send word One owners if you notice anything else different after the update.

Just checked for an update and it downloaded and is installing now. First time that’s ever happened – usually takes quite a few days.

I love getting LTE on my HTC One in Ohio! The only other carrier that has LTE here besides T-Mobile is Verizon! Not even AT&T and definitely not Sprint have LTE here!

Where in Ohio? I went to Cleveland the other day and didn’t get any LTE. Also, far as I know/heard, Sprint has some LTE in Cleveland, AT&T has LTE in quite a few areas in Ohio.

I’ve definitely noticed improve response from the capacitive buttons. One tap usually does it now.

I can’t help but think they did allow some other bug fixes to hitch a ride. Sure seems like it with mine.

I must be the only one having Bluetooth issues. After the update, my bluetooth headset won’t work. It pairs with the One but it simply doesn’t work; I can’t hear anything and no one can hear me. It’s not the headset, I checked with my other devices. Anyone else having BT issues after the update?

Sweet!! I just started my update! My ‘go back’ cap button has had issues. In some apps it will not work, have to keep pushing it. Some apps, no problem. So hope it helps, will report back once finished with update! But I have to say I absolutely love the One!!!

Ok, update done. Cap button seems better but need more time to tell for sure. Glad to have the update though!

Forgot to mention, before I did the update, this morning I noticed the status bar said 4G LTE. I was like, huh?? So is T-Mo now using LTE?
