Sony Xperia Z Support Documents Begin Appearing On T-Mobile’s Website

A hat tip goes out to the guys at G4Games for first noticing the appearance of a whole bunch of Sony Xperia Z support documents on T-Mobile’s website. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen support documents appear as part of a puzzle piece for unannounced T-Mobile devices.

Unfortunately, the documents are still private and require a login to view but it provides yet another piece of evidence that the device is bound for Magenta store shelves. With Sony’s CEO confirming the release of the device on a US carrier “very soon,” all signs are pointing in the T-Mobile direction.

With images of the devices already in the wild, FCC passage confirming T-Mobile ready LTE bands, Sony’s comments and now these support document sightings…is someone out there who can believe the US carrier is anyone other than T-Mobile?

What’s funny is that literally every other site I go to only talks about AT&T as a potential carrier.

I have read a couple that mentions it’s because of the “relationship” Sony has had with AT&T. If Sony was smart(er) they’d release it on both and call it a day.

If Sony were smart, they’d release it on all carriers. Exclusive flagships are completely stupid in the current landscape.

This should be standard for any manufacturer!

          Agreed.

I’ve always wanted a sony phone… but they never had them available with t-mobile bands! And now I got a z10… owell.

I’m using the XZ with T-Mobile now.

          This standard is
done by each carrier, not the manufacture. The carrier determines the date of
release & software versions to work with their network.
This is why I purchase unlocked devices
