Instead, with the BOGO, customers will receive a Galaxy S II, Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G or Samsung Galaxy Exhibit 4G free after a mail-in rebate card. New and existing customers are eligible to take advantage of this promotion and standard upgrade rules apply for existing customers.

The second major back-to-school promotion this summer from T-Mobile is in the form of a promotional add-a-line plan for T-Mobile’s Family Classic Unlimited plan customers. New and existing customers can save by adding additional voice lines for only $5 a month until January 2nd, 2014.

    Thank you T-Mobile

This wouldn’t help you at all…please re-read the post.

So it’s pay up front and then get a mail-in rebate for the second phone.
That’s normal for T-mobile so it’s no surprise. You also have to have 2
existing lines to get the AAL as it’s just for lines 3, 4, and 5.

That doesn’t do me any good but if you were thinking of adding a line it’s not bad, as it will save you money over the next 17 months. I think it’s normally $30 a line on the unlimited plan so your savings per month is $25, which would be $425 you would save over 17 months or $400 over 16 months, depending on how it’s billed and when you signed up. That’s actually a good deal if you can take advantage of it.

This is normal for all BOGO sales at carriers generally speaking.

      • jian9007

Yes. I understand it makes sure that you keep the service active before they send you the rebate. Keeps the scammers away and I’m fine with that. I do wish they had a similar sale online as the BOGO is in-store only. I’m hopeful that I might log on to the site one night and find the GS3 as the web-only free phone deal.

ANOTHER FAILED TRICK TO SCAM CUSTOMERS!

    • None

      …another screamer!

  • AsleepAtTheWheel

They already had the HTC One X Free AR a couple times already.  It’s essentially the same phone as the SGS3.  Yet they think buy one for $550 and get one free is a deal?

How about both free, and i don’t cancel and go to Virgin Wireless.

  • Mark Hennessey

Not available in CT and RI… and one county in Florida? What’s up with that?

    • Bob

Mail in rebate if advertised for free are no good in those places by law. It will probably be free out the door plus upgrade fee and tax.
