T-Mobile myTouch, myTouch Q Unboxing Videos

T-Mobile has a completely covered mid-range Android phone line and now with the addition of the myTouch and myTouch Q, that lineup is bolstered by the addition of two models from T-Mobile’s flagship line. These phones won’t match the HTC Amaze 4G or Galaxy S II spec for spec, however they are perfect for the first-time smartphone buyer who just doesn’t need to have the very best smartphone in their pocket.

The myTouch sports a 1GHz processor, 3.8″ display, 5 megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, Android 2.3 and is available for $79.99 after rebate. It’s available in both black and white.

The myTouch Q sports a physical QWERTY keyboard, 1GHz processor, 3.2″ display, 5 megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, Android 2.3 and is also available for $79.99 after rebate.

Check out the unboxing vids and decide if these will make good stocking stuffers for the holiday season.

Some slow phones. Not even a way to master reset using hardware buttons. Smells rookie to me.

I never like to say this, but god that thing looks just like a cheap plastic iPhone. I don’t understand why they bring these out, why not just keep selling the mytouch 4g at a lower price for what this is worth?

Because Apple has proven that things with such a form factor sell and sell well.  Even if its not great in quality, as long as it looks the part people will buy.

Wirefly has a considerably less manic and less over-caffeinated unboxing video up. Looks like a solid midrange device and at $279 off contract is well priced. I don’t understand why some people have a hard time understanding that this isn’t a replacement for the MT4G, that it’s just an expansion of the MT line. Ironic that people who like Android over IOS b/c you’re given more options are complaining about diversity.
