T-Mobile Launching Six Devices On November 2nd?

Looks like T-Mobile is going to have one very nice November with a total of six planned launches for November 2nd. Unfortunately we have no idea as to which devices these will be and as you’ll see in two follow up posts we’ve got the rollout dates for the Galaxy Tab 10.1″ covered along with the upcoming Sonic 4G Mobile Hotspot. So you can take those two out of the realm of possibles.

As it stands right now we’re considering the HTC Radar 4G, Huawei Tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab 7″ among the possible devices that will launch in November but as for what all six are, that’s an unknown. So take your guesses, make your wishes and prepare to wait and see what else can be uncovered about this mystery super launch date.

Its absolute COMEDY GOLD to see the princesses on this forum go NUTS by the mere typiing of the word. “iphone”.

        • Tbyrne

It’s absolute COMEDY GOLD to see shortsighted people like you inflamed over one device when there’s many out there to choose from. I don’t need to go nuts. My Sensation’s doing me just fine. Bye AT&T_Guy.

I bet the radar is coming out that day, that is “in time for the holidays”.

    • K@gmail.com

The radar will launch before then.

  • FlyerR

    Nexus galaxy?

  • http://cosmicbreeze.tumblr.com/ DtheArtist

Yeah, I was def gone say the Radar because it hasn’t been officially announced w/ a release date yet & it’s already October. If it was coming out this month, when T-Mobile mentioned it on their Twitter they would’ve just gave us the date for this month, & they said by holiday season, before the year end. November 2nd is like spot on with that.

    • Anonymous

A Tmo rep, where I work (as if that lends credence to my statement), told me Halloween for the Radar. Well, he said Novemeber and then said Halloween. So…

I’m waiting to see what Nokia and/or Samsung does on the Tmo Windows Phone front.

By this time I will have switched to AT&T and been playing on my iPhone.

      And you will regret it.

        Maybe he wont?

        • Foxeh

I don’t know… It briefly came up while I was speaking over the phone with my auto insurance agent and he adamantly despises his AT&T iPhone.

Almost everyone I know had an AT&T iPhone (of various generations) and ALL of them ran like hell when their contracts ran out. Granted, they all were hoping to use the iPhone as a phone so that likely puts them in the minority.

    • Flashy4bb

      And you will regret it.

Have fun paying an arm and a leg for it!

Jealously of others who can afford cool things that you cant wont get you anywhere in life.

        • Anonymous

How is it jealousy by stating he is going to pay an arm and a leg? sounds like someone just doesn’t like the truth and by someone I mean you.

        • Aaa

If you have the money then go. T-mobile is just a upgraded cricket company. They are no where from great.

        • Anonymous

Lol oh how hilariously ignorant of you to say.

        • Anonymous

If you view something as paying an arm and a leg that usually means you can’t afford it.

        • Anonymous

And that answers my question how? The question is how does him saying it costs an arm equal to jealousy? Now answer that.

    • Anonymous

Me too, but switching to Verizon for the iphone.

      • Tbyrne

After Ivan gives you his phone, ask him why he has to lighten your wallet so much? Let’s hope buyers remorse doesn’t set in. Right Petey?

It’s time for you to grow up.

It’s my personal preference. I been using my vibrant for over a year. Time to change to something different. No need to get butt hurt because other people preference are not the same as yours.

          have a nice day.

        • Anonymous

Ya Petey some of the princesses on here dont like the mere mention of the dreaded iphone.
Taylor over at Phonedog sums up Android vs iPhone quite well….
“Don’t get me wrong, I love Android. It’s flawed, as is every other platform out there, but I love it. That said, Android is some of the buggiest, most inconsistent software I’ve ever used (and I’ve used a lot of different software). Even when Android is skinned and spruced up by a third-party, it’s still as buggy and inconsistent as ever. It’s getting better with time, but Android largely still feels like beta software to many. Not to mention, low-end handsets can easily give users the wrong impression.
Apple, on the other hand, has a way of offering the utmost consistency to their customers, from their Mac lines to the iPad and iPhone. Contrary to popular belief, their products are not perfect. But at least you know what to expect out of an Apple product every time you turn it on. It doesn’t act differently every time you hit the power button (unless you’re running a iOS 5 Beta 7, of course).
This is why people are so loyal to Apple. This is why Apple’s mobile endeavors have a return customer rate of roughly 89 percent versus Android’s 55 percent. Call me crazy, but moving forward from Mango, with the addition of high-end hardware (and the likes of Nokia), I’m sure Microsoft will yield a relatively high “sticky customer” rate, too.”

        • Anonymous

Its true, The reason why I am moving to an iPhone is because stable and consistency… It’s not as cool or customizable like Android, but my personal preference, I just want something that’s simple, ease to use and that works after updates.

I do on the other hand want to try wp7, and give it a chance but I think i’ll give them more time before i try them out.

        • Tbyrne

Read my post carefully. I didn’t put down the iPhone, I think it’s a great phone and hope T-Mobile can get it in the near future. My concern was how much $$$$ you’re going to be forking over to Ivan each month.

        • Anonymous

          My bad, Who’s Ivan? lol

        • Tbyrne

Ivan Seidenberg is the CEO of Verizon. He’s the one who’s going to drain your wallet faster than you can say “Can you hear me now?”.

hoepfully the nexus prime. It’s the only device i’m even considering right now.

A Nexus wouldn’t be on a t-mo road map. I hope they prove me wrong though.

  • Dave

please stop the iphone hype Yes, some of their products are good but nothing groundbreaking like when the original iphones came out and there was no competition..all they do its make people wait for their products to get the hype train rolling… They could introduce a pen and people would say its the most incredible pen even..please quit it guys

    • Tbyrne

      LMFAO!

You have just proven why they are so successful and Tmobile fails on a regular basis.
Maybe if Tmobile followed the Apple model we wouldnt be dealing with having to switch providers.

Hype?  The iOS is the best mobile operating system available.  Why is that hype?  Yes, I think Windows Phone will be good and give iOS a run for its money (let’s see how Mango does).  Of course you could count the blatant copy cat software called Android, but I tend to not give credit to people who simply provide a cheap knock off of another persons work, which is why I will not buy a Samsung product.

      • Tortionist

Actually Android was around before ios. Android Inc. started in 2005 and was developing the Android OS, meanwhile ios wasn’t in development until a couple of years later. Ios was released on the i-phone first, so Android isn’t a knockoff of ios. If anything ios is a knockoff of Android. The best smartphone OS, or number one used/sold OS, as determined by millions of users, is actually Android, not ios.  Android has a bigger market share. You saying that ios is the best is nothing more than your own opinion. Just like me saying Android is the best would be my own opinion.  Dave is right. the Apple products are good (some of them) but are not generally groundbreaking. It’s definitely all about what a person is looking for, want a simple and easy to use user interface? go ios. Want total freedom and customizability? go Android. Want somewhere in the middle? go windows 7. You get the idea. Android on lower end phones tends to be glitchy, but on higherend or superphones, it’s as smooth and fast as ios. That said, I think i’ll check out the mango update and see if it’s worth it. So far it sounds and looks like it is. We’ll see.

        • Anonymous

I must say I began to laugh hysterically at your assertion that ios is a knockoff of an OS that wasn’t even released yet. That is the single most retarded thing ever posted on this forum

Highly doubt the prime and iphone are among the six. Can’t imagine tmobile launching either of these two devices only 3 weeks after the gs2 and amaze (esp the iphone)……I don’t see tmo selling the prime in stores (atleast not right away).

    • Auser72

I wouldn’t have imagined Tmobile releasing SGS2 and the Amaze on the same day, but they are. Tmobile is making aggressive moves for market share, anything is possible.

      • Anonymous

Anythings possiblei guess…..I would assume that apple would want their device to launch by itself on a particular day and not have any other high profile devices launching within a given timeframe…..I think the two new lg mytouches will launch 11/2 and the lg with the dual touch screen and…. qwerty kb the radar and huawei tab could easily be 2 more….that leaves 1 device not accounted for……dave reported that the tab 10.1 would most likely launch at the end of october

        • None

With Apple so OCD on numbers, I would suspect iPhone on 11-11-11 (though I suspect we are getting the 4/4s)

The LG MyTouches should be out as affordable Androids for the Holiday.

  • Rbajaj95

This probably won’t happen but i really wish the sensation XE will come out.

    • Anonymous

You never know that could end up being one of the November 6

  • Anonymous

I didn’t realize there were so many tmo customers craving for the iphone. You already have one of the best Android phone lineups yet you’re complaining about the iphone. You don’t know how good you have it. Bring on the prime!

    • None

Exactly (sorta).  Yes, we have an incredible Android lineup.  After the next 2 come out, I would even agree the best, from budget to superphone.  People are complaining because that is about all we have.  We have a windows phone but no “lineup”, no iphone, and even our BB “lineup” shows no variation in form pactor.  I would like choices.  We got Android covered (or even over-covered)–how about something else?

  • Anonymous

Perhaps the iPhone 5.  I was just chatting with one of the T-Mobile live operators and I enfuriatedly asked her when the T-Mobile iPhone was arriving.  She said by the year’s end.  :D
i hope this helps save us!

    • http://cosmicbreeze.tumblr.com/ DtheArtist

I doubt it. T-Mobile’s head ups just announced they will not be getting the iPhone 5 this year. If anything if we do get an iPhone it would be the iPhone 4 or iPhone 4gs. & even that’s pushing it.

      • None

I would take the plain old iphone 4 with Tmo bands in a heartbeat. And the Radar too if it were just a tad bigger.

        • http://cosmicbreeze.tumblr.com/ DtheArtist

I’ll take the Radar, It being bigger on the screen really don’t make a difference. I remember we used to have 3″ screens & be ok, now we’re a 4″ & people still want it bigger. I think at a point it starts getting overly ridiculous.

      • Littlesis1774

Verizon said the same thing before they release iphone 4

        • http://cosmicbreeze.tumblr.com/ DtheArtist

I still really doubt it thou

  • http://cosmicbreeze.tumblr.com/ DtheArtist

Yeah, I can conclude w/ that & this article November 2nd. I have one more month to wait for a new phone then. This G2x is not doing it. Need a stable smartphone on a appealing OS.

  • Youngt82

    Nexus Prime :) please T-Mobile

    • Ilyas_k15

Nexus Prime will be coming to Verizon

      • BlackNinja126

Verizon possibly as the Droid Prime or Nexus Prime
Other carriers ( At&t, Sprint, T-Mobile) as the Nexus Prime

      • Tito!

Why do you sound assured and douchey while saying it?

LOL, unless you are employed by Google or Samsung you shouldn’t have a definite say.
otherwise you sound like a dumbass.

        yes. like man says below.
I believe Verizon might get Nexus (DROID, in their case)
a week or two ahead of the other carriers.
or maybe they’ll get it all once.

just don’t be so arrogant at striking down people’s requests.

People, Nexus is Google own phone, as previous two Nexus models. It comes with pure Adroid OS. It can’t just come on Verizon. Other Nexus was even sold unlocked at Best Buy.

  • Googleisapplesbiotch

I am new to this forum but was wondering what everyone thinks of the iPhone?
My buddy has had android for a few years but says its buggy compared to the iPhone.
I was hoping that the iPhone comes to tmobile.
Its a great looking phone and the quality level seems on par with what a high end device should be.
I dont know I realize that android has some high end phones but not like the iPhone.
I was comparing how apps look on the iPhone versus the google version but they dont compete.
I wonder if apple simply gets better developers than android gets?
I saw an article on how the return rate is like twice as high on android?
I dont know I hope tmobile gets the iPhone or a nice Nokia phone.

    • appleisgooglesbiotch =3

I personally dislike the iPhone I think it is over-rated and not that good, besides  more apps. Android is not buggy if you get a GOOD Android phone, such as a Nexus Phone and the newer Droids. The next best Android is the Nexus Prime. You should wait for the the Nexus Prime for a phone on T Mobile. And about the return rate most of that were people upgrading to newer Android phones because theres were outdated.

      • CM Punk

Ding ding ding!  If you’re going to shell out 200+ for an iPhone, why not do the same for an android that has better specs, features and is significantly more open source!?

You can get a 16 GB iPhone for $200, or you can get a better overall phone (Sensation, MT4GS, Galaxy S 4G, Ruby, Galaxy S2, etc.) for the same price, and, along with the onboard memory, throw in any extra memory you’d like.

Think about that, my G2X has an 8 GB internal & I have a 16 gig card…24 gigs, and that shouldn’t run you more than 200 with taxes and the other card.  And, I can EASILY say it puts the iPhone to shame.

        • George

Who cares about the specs on your phone if it’s frozen or at the repair shop for a good amount of time?  Cell phones are often essential business devices and many people need reliability more so than anything.

That’s why I laugh at those AT&T commercials touting their network’s ability to talk and data browse at the same time.  First of all, I really don’t care if my buddies find out I didn’t watch the game last night.  Also, I can wait another 10 seconds after my wife hangs up before scurrying to make an online dinner reservation.

Second, that ability would only actually be needed if I could consistently hold onto a call.

As a T-Mobile customer stuck with a family plan and someone needs to retain his number, I’m willing to try out these upcoming Android superphones.  Still, even if I manage to avoid all the bugs that Android is well-known for, I can’t shake the feeling that I’ll just keep sweating with each Android update.  That’s why I’m jumping ship the instant Apple releases an iPhone that’s capable of running on T-Mobile’s 3G network.

If you think about it, it’s PC vs MAC all over again.  The difference is that the computer has never become as essential a part of our daily lives as the phone.

        • Tbyrne

Really Apple apps look better??? Go check out the YouTube app the android version is way better by miles you fool…I hate when people who have no idea about a product bash it…”oh well I want an iPhone because its not outdated like the droids” that’s because when iPhones come out they are already out dated…..Get a quality android and it will surpass your expectations my gf has a iPhone4 and she swears its the best but she always wants to borrow my Sensation because the mighty iPhone can’t display sertain websites properly because no flash support and its always in mobile view certain videos from even you tube are not supported. I can share music thru Bluetooth she can’t the list goes on and on I laugh when I catch her with her my Sensation and the “mighty iPhone” just collects dust because besides it being pretty it can’t do $#!T …..now don’t think I have never had an iPhone I have but jumped ship when the 1st nexus came out and I’m not looking back!!!!

Only if you pick some up from the supermarket.

  • Aaa

I love how people on here say “have fun paying an arm and a leg.” I mean if you arent a cheap you know what, why wouldnt you want better servoce? iphone is better than any Android phone. its easier to use, better screen, better battery, less buggy.. better os. Android is the best competition though but if tmobile wants to try and stay alive without att then they Need the iphone. but tmobile will be gone in less than a year :’(

    • TonyJohns

Which are all personal opinion. No one platform is better than the other. Its all about personal use and what you need in an OS. There are buggy Android devices and there are buggy iOS devices.

The reason people bring up the arm and leg statement. Because with the iphone you are overpaying (which is the norm for apple products) for pretty much the same if not less service than other competitors.

If the buyout doesn’t happen. T-Mobile will be fine and will eventually get the iphone. Please believe a cell phone company will not crash and burn because they are not carrying one specific phone.

      • Aaa

Dt is losing money by keeping t-mobile. They will either sell or disband this company sooner or later. and by over paying do you mean that ATT and Verizon are too expensive? They really aren’t. It’s just t-mobile lowers there’s to try and stay alive and they dont even come close to competing them. They can’t even pass Sprint. Lol. If i have the money I wouldnt settle for cheap.

        • Renzo

SBC, better known as ATT is an arm-n-leg. I share the opinion that to pay a premium to fit-in is non sense, I dont need the outline of an apple next to me to make me feel cool. Personally, I prefer WINDOWS!!!

    • Zaraaa_1999

I’ve been a patron of Tmobile when it was Aerial. This company won’t drop that fast. If anything the company will find an alternative to stay in the game. Sheeesssh. Not in love with it but it always come through.

Nov 2 seems a bit early for the Prime to be on Tmobile.  As we know, the Prime is a Verizon Exclusive for now so I HIGHLY doubt it’s the Nexus Prime although it would be welcomed on Tmobile and Tmobile has gotten ALL the other Nexus Devices.  I say its some Blackberries, HTC Amaze, LG MyTouch, Moto Defy+ and the new Galaxy Tab

    • Guest42

lg maxx ,max q(lg my touchs), samsung flip, samsung dumont(nexus), htc windows, lg optimus replacement

    • None

A few of them could easily be feature phones.  There has been a void in decent touch-screen feature phones since they got rid of the Samsung highlight.

  • DPGIII

I’m *SERIOUSLY* hoping one of the aforementioned devices is the Blackberry Torch 9810. It was “rumored” to be coming to T-Mobile in November; if that’s true, then this would be the day it drops. TMo has already received it overseas (Germany, UK)! And all the Canadian GSM carriers have it, too. AT&T wasn’t due to have in until September, but released it in August. So I’m praying for an expedited release on T-Mobile’s part.

I’ve been holding-out on my upgrade since this news came-out over the summer. If I don’t see it on display come November 2, then I’m going with the Bold 9900.

I would love to see something from motorola, aka Google. Something like a atrix 2. Still have this cliq for almost 2 years. Been through hell and back, well yeah the phone too. Sprints Photon is pretty sweet too. Tried it at their store. Prolly could go to HTC, solid build like moto.

Is it my imagination or is TMO looking like it’s here to stay. Lots of new offerings – plans and phones, new store floor plans. Seems like they are planning a future without the ATT deal. Just a thought.

    • Aaa

I see they are doing that. But on the business side they continue to lose money and our parent company dt doesn’t want to keep us which means either disbanding t-mobile or selling.

      • http://twitter.com/XxJRJ JRJ

T-Mobile is not disbanding or selling. The deal is that AT&T made an offer to purchase. Because of antitrust laws, AT&T’s offer was challenged because AT&T is too big a competitor to purchase another so-called major carrier. Therefore, AT&T would have to divest some of its assets to encourage the purchase. If the purchase doesn’t go through, status quo.

        • Aaa

They won’t stay open if they lose money every quarter. PERIOD!

      • Blackcat3119

Tmo usa is not losing $. Check the financials. They made $360 m last qrtr. That’s tmo usa. Ppl who said they had no plan B are wrong. We are seeing it. They have plenty of time to sell if. Deal doesn’t go through. There is no hurry, let the dust settle and build tmo back up,then sell.

    • Auser72

Yep, they just can’t openly say so because the deal is deal is steal active.

Hoping for the Nexus Prime! It sounds like it will be coming our way shortly after Verizon.

    • Vlad2277

Guys, Nexus is Google phone, not Verizon.
It will not be locked on any one carrier.
This phone is being produced now to win over customers over iPhone. That’s exactly why its being release now. If it will only come on Verizon it beats all purpose, since Verizon will have iPhone. People buy iPhone pay ridiculous money for iPhone service plan, and don’t care about processor, memory or new Android OS. They just buy iPhone for no reason and will not pick Nexus over it.

    • Umpa_j

We’ll have it on launch date I bet not after. Nexus comes tmob first regardless.

You guys should plan on making unlimited internet dring the weekends! Come On!

I believe the iPhone 5 will come to tmobile or at least come with aws bands becuase Cincinnati bell accidently leaked the iPhone 5 specs on their website saying that its a 4G phone, and Cincinnati bell uses the same 3G/4G bands tmobile uses. I’m very excited!

    • George

I considered that too but was too lazy to look up their bands. I’m glad someone finally pointed this out. Don’t really care about subsidized pricing as I’m on a value plan. It’s also interesting that those leaked images show the 4s with an A5 processor. It’s down to the iPhone versus the Amaze for me; it should be an exciting next couple of weeks.

    • Cmon

Well please dont be excited. The iphone is not coming t t-mobile this year as stated previously. I wish I had a dollar for every person that keeps thinking its coming this year lol

      • George

“Coming to T-mobile” versus an iPhone with the hardware necessary to run on Tmobile 3g/4g bands are two different things. I could care less if the network branding was the Portuguese translation for “Ukranian prostitute”. And I wish I had a dollar for every time someone used a tired cliche.

        • Cmon

Lmao okay man im sorry. I was addressing the part where he said “I believe the iphone 5 will come to tmobile”. But the fact that you think the iphone and amaze will have to do with the next couple of weeks of your life being exciting ill just let you be. I apologize rofl

I say Tmobile should do what ever it takes to carry the Nexus Prime from the get go. Google should honor tradition and make sure Magenta is the first or one of the first carrier to have the ICS Nexus Prime. Now if Verizon has an exclusive on the Droid Prime (Samsung SCH-i515) which we think will be only for Verizon, that will be cool with me and i hope millions of other avid Nexus fans. But the Samsung GT-i9250 which we think is the real Nexus Prime should find its way to Tmobile, Sprint and Att from the jump. Being that three of the major four networks will be getting the iPhone, it is imperative that Tmobile gets the Nexus Prime right away when it is launched to also give them something to draw new customers and to keep existing ones at bay. They have always had the Nexus upon release, so i hope Google doesn’t disappoint the legions of Nexus fans who have made Tmo their home and are anxiously expecting the arrival of the new ICS Nexus. I say give Verizon their Droid Prime exclusive but unleash Nexus Prime to all from the jump to combat the coming iPhone 5 and 4S onslaught.

    • Bill

100% agree. If there is no Nexus Prime on T-Mobile I’ll be switching carriers.

The Galaxy Tab 7″ has been out for 10 months now. I think you are thinking of the 7.7″ Tab.

  • BklynMan

Hoping Nokia is bringing out there window phone,or maybe there Android phone The Tiger White?
I also like to know, how do they come up which phones to drop? Why is it they are still selling The Behold 2 as a upgrade? But they drop The G2,5230? There non smart phone’s they have are only so-so. They didn’t keep SGH T349 around that long either.

such an advanced phone with no flash player and it took 2 iphones to get picture text messaging. AMAZING

  • Kcw_16

Hopefully the Sensation XE. Or at least that’s what I am hoping for.

  • John

I don’t care what phones T-Mobile comes out with, as long as they continue to have poor voice quality, I’m not happy with them.

  • Eldriclong21

Do any one know if the galaxy note will work on t mobile or if we are getting it
