Hmm… I’m already on the $15 Unlimited Text prepaid plan, and I barely use more than 100 mins a month. That $30, 100min, Unlimited Text, and 5GB Data seems like a good deal…

I tried to get on that too. The Tmobile prepaid guy said that plan is offered only through Walmart, and Tmobile can’t activate it. I went to a Walmart close to my place, they do have the plan, but with phone. They don’t have a separate activation kit. I still have my Tmobile phone from the old annual contract and don’t want to get a new phone. I’m kinda stuck here.

If they won’t activate on your existing SIM, don’t they have a prepaid SIM kit for like $5 or $10 to use to activate existing phones?

They don’t have such a thing (it’s called an activation kit – just a SIM card I guess). So for now I’m going with Simple Mobile. $40 unlimited 3G, not bad. Only that their customer service is *really* slow.
