I kinda like it. However the rear N front cameras is not cool. Other than that its the samething compare to the SGS2. I have the Nexus One, had the Nexus S, went to the iphone 4 and now have the European GS2 with ATT $50 UNL everything Go Phone. The thing I dont like about google Nexuses is that it gets boring after using it after a week cuz its just stock android. I luv the GS2 no dought about it but i dont like being on AT&T. I will get this phone with T-Mobile $30 100 min, Unl text n Data (5GB)Monthly 4G plan. It will be perfect but IDK if it will be really stupid of me to retire my SGS2 this early for the new GNS. However if the T-Mobile version can get 4G speeds (42mphs) like T-Mo’s ugly SGS2 then ill prob. switch no dought about it. I just want to know SGS2>GNS or GNS<SGS2.

No mention of WIMAX. If Sprint is the one passing on the Nexus this
time around, T-Mobile could make a killing by subsidizing this phone. This phone is a dev phone, the GSM version will have AWS and T-Mobile needs to 1up Sprint and AT&T. Payback for the iphone 4s, mofos!

    SUBSIDIZE THE G NEXUS, T-MOBILE!

WIMAX ???? WIMAX is already a dead technology, Sprint already dropped WIMAX and will kill its network within a year…..They are in process of switching to LTE if they have enough money.

This phone look ugly honestly and the specs. dont make u want to run out and buy like the SGS2 & iphone 4s. The only good sleek thing this phone has is Ice Cream. I think what ill do is buy the s2 from tmobile.. root it and install ice cream when it comes out. That way I have the full specs. cameras, sd slot and faster data speed. Now you cant beat that!

the only thing you’d be missing is the HD display.

    • Ryan

Lmao! You can’t even compare this to the iPhone 4s! MAYBE the sgs2, maybe, but this DESTROYS the iPhone 4s. You may not like how it looks and that’s ok, but seriously, compare these specs to the specs on the sgs2 and especially the iPhone 4s, and you’ll see just how superior this phone is.

Hey Greg…you said T-Mobile’s ugly Samsung GS2? Did you ever see the real thing? It’s actually better compared to the other versions of GS2 IMHO.

    • Greg

I have the european SGS2 with the botton and my sis has the tmo version. Mines is far more sexy, classy, and polished.

i was going to get it as soon as it came out for T-Mobile but i think i’m gonna pass this… i love the device except that its missing a freaking SD CARD SLOT again!!!!!!!!! 5 mp camera i can live with that since it has a special feature on the camera plus ICS, NFC, ice cream os, gorgeous display, and etc… but no SD CARD?? come on!! i just bought a 32 gb microsd card… i guess i’m going with SGS 2… sigh… and i was hoping it will be the new samsung enoyx chip but guess that’s wrong too…. if they release this phone with an sd card slot i’m SOLD

does t-mobile gsII work on ATT 3g (is it penta band?) is yes then not much difference between this and nexus

  • Fish

Yes. See where it says my ns will get the update. I don’t see where a samsung rep says gs2 will get it.

Tmobile should be working hard and fast to add its name to the list of Networks to carry this device in the US as early as November. Giving that we are the only carrier of the big four major carriers in the US not to carry the iPhone ..we need this badly. Tmobile should strive to be the first again to get it here in the US…the device already has Tmo HSPA+ bands ( GSM penta bands)…so what are they waiting for….hurry up we want to see Tmo on that growing list of carriers lining up for this device .

  • mo pho

Def leaving TMo for whatever carrier gets this. Sick of waiting year after year for a good phone only to get some ugly revamped TMo version.

  • mo pho

And don’t tell me about the Galaxy S2 or the Amaze.  the GS2 os sucks no matter what you say and Amaze is fat and heavy.

Yes sg2 realy sucks, perform is likevhaving exhibit except for the screen and camera pero exhibit is better with the AP hot spot, you can surf the internet on exhibit while you have hot spot on

I owned the GS2 and is a lil bit clonky seriously needed the Exynos processor, the HSPA+ 42mbps is not stable, sometimes i get good speeds, sometimes i get less than what i sued to get. the only thing is that the GS2 might get ICS soon. I for me want the Nexus, and will buy it as soon as it comes out, on T-mobile that is, or if it comes internationally with the same bands, i might buy unlocked.
