HTC Ruby/Amaze 4G Pictures Plus Specs Leak?

This isn’t what we call a T-Mobile leak per se, but the HTC Ruby/Amaze 4G model has leaked out of Thailand according to local site Droid Sans. According to the site HTC is testing a new Android device that is capable of DC-HSPA+ speeds in Thailand which further gives us hope that this device is capable of 42Mbps data speeds.

The images in the pictures themselves match the ones we’ve seen leak with T-Mobile branding and although these are a different color the hardware seems to match spot on. According to the Droid Sans  site this device being test is a 4.3″, 960×540 qHD, 8-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash and a 1.5GHz dual-core CPU. The device being handled also has 1GB or RAM inside as well as 16GB of storage, Android 2.3 running along with Sense 3.5 running on top of that. The design of the phone itself does match the earlier viewed leaked images of the HTC Ruby so we’re inclined to believe this is the same phone, just in black. If our ninjas are correct, the HTC Ruby/Amaze 4G for T-Mobile will come in at least two color models as well.

Until we know more about the T-Mobile branded edition check out these five images and feast your eyes on something you’ll soon be able to hold in your own hand.

When I go from my Sensation to my wife’s Nexus its like night and day.
Her phone used to be mine and I was once an Android purist.
    No longer though.
I use my phone for work and wouldn’t be as productive without the sense email client.
Stock Android email client can’t compete imho

I must say that it’s a shame that google can’t polish their own friggin UI!
You don’t see apple and Microsoft having to rely on phone manufacturers to do their friggin job!
Oh ya and the kicker being the manufactures get hit with patent violations because google is shielded by giving Android away free.
so google message should be, “hey HTC thanks for not only polishing up our UI (should be or job) but also for shielding us from numerous lawsuits!!”.

Um this would be why they are releasing ice cream sandwich because its supposed to be a redesign like honeycomb except for cell phones

I don’t understand.  Why should Google, or HTC (or Samsung,) be responsible for ensuring you have a working client for Exchange?  I have a better idea.  Have Microsoft release a polished Android app for Exchange access.  Do you rely solely on native and HTC apps?  So what if Apple provides a working client?  Android chooses not to.  Buy Touchdown.  Works perfectly.

FYI:  T-Mobile reps are testing the phone already prior to launch.  I’ve played with it a little, but haven’t used it for an extended period of time.  These pictures definitely look exactly like the Ruby I saw except the color.  (The one I saw was white.)  The friend I have who tested it for a few weeks said that there were some serious glitches they needed to work out, but that was about a month ago.  It looks pretty sweet so hopefully the problems will be worked out and it can launch without requiring a bunch of software updates to make it work right.

Another thing I just thought of: The Ruby I played with did have Sense 3.0, but this one could just be using ADW launcher. I dunno.

can u tell us more about the hardware, since that’s less likely to change?
