T-Mobile Loves You, Sends Out Gift Cards

I said it before, and I really mean it this time; T-mobile loves you.  As a token of their appreciation, T-Mobile is sending out $25 promotional cards to be used in store for phones and accessories.  It’s a free $25, is anyone complaining, or has anyone else received T-Mobile’s “thanks.”  If you get it soon enough, before the end of July, you might be able to use this for that 50% off accessories promotion.  T-Mobile loves you.

Thanks – you know who you are (wink)

They’re just trying to get me in the store to sign a contract – I’ll never do it!

I’m pretty sure I don’t need anything in the store.  Can they credit my bill? =]

Just go into the store and ask for them to put the $25 toward your bill.

I will have to ask all my Tmobile peeps if they received it.  I’ve been with Tmo since Voicestream.  I haven’t checked my mail.

I did a warranty exchange about 2 months ago and I did not have to pay anything. They did offer me overnight for a fee but that we it. Either this is really new or something is not right.

What do you have to do to get that gift card?  Ive been with Tmob for 4 years and got nothing…and Id think they’d want to keep me since my contract is up for renewal but they’ve made no efforts and have had no communications with me.

why are you entitled to a free phone? it’s not their fault you have had a chance to get an expensive phone for ~50% off THREE TIMES over a 7 year period…

People seem to think they are just so entitled to what they want  ENTITLEMENT is a very strong feeling. What makes any one person who like you said could have upgraded 3 times now deserve anymore than another customer who is in the same circumstance and paid for their upgrade. If you want a free phone the comet was free :]

    • imsophysic

Umm, first, gingerbread for the G2x went out OTA hours ago… Second, “their” not “there”. Third, do you think having been a Voicestream customer means anything special cause it doesn’t.

      • Kryp2nite77

I know you don’t get any speacial treatment for being a loyal customer for 10 years. And about update I have not seen it so I don’t beleave it.

        • theWayofThings

You’ve not been a loyal customer, you’ve been a complacent customer.. Complacency is nothing nearly as noble and selfless as loyalty..

I agree, and have been thinking the same thing. It’s nice to hear someone else say it. I have seven phones with T-Mobile and I alternate between Android and Blackberry web services on my line roughly once a month. This last time, it took over forty minutes to finally speak to someone. It was obviously an outsourced call and while they usually offer to keep me on the discounted, preferred customer rate plan, I was told that option was not available on their computer. I am paying full price now. Prior to this, I never had to wait more than 9 minutes to speak with someone and anytime the call que was more than two minutes, the automated system would offer to call me when it was my turn to speak with someone so I didn’t have to sit online and wait. Things have definitey changed for the worse!

    • Anonymous

ohh yea trust me AT&T is in for sure.i bet they both sit everyday and create new policies to screw customers.ever noticed how much T-Mobile have changed since the horrible announcement “at&t to acquire t-mobile for $39 billion dollars.”yea if u guys don’t u need to go back and look at the changes since that day, everyone should.

Why don’t you pay your bill so you don’t get these text messages? T-mobile has always charged a reconnection fee of $20 per line. Get your facts straight before you sound like a ignorant fool its a 20 service fee for warrant exchanges but its free if you have PHP

    • Edsonzapata

actually it’s not free for warranty exchanges with PHP…it’s $5, which still isnt’ a terrible thing

They have not always charged a $20 reconnection fee.  When you are partially suspended it is when you cannot make calls out but you receive calls in.  But they started this PER phone line which is $20 each.  That is steep and absolutely absurd since it is automated.  The fact of the matter is that tmobile has always allowed you to pay late and you are charged a late fee and your phone is partially shut off as described before.  That is the penalty and has always been the penalty.  But the problem is that they have not noticed people of the reconnection fee which is added on top of the late fee and partially disconnection.  In fact, they try to force you to sign a contract and use the late fee as a way to get you to start a new two year contract.  That’s not negotiation, it’s not customer service, and it’s a breach of contract.  So if I do not agree with their change, then I am still stuck in a contract.  IF that’s the case then let me keep my same current contract and give me the new rate plans.  If you are going to change the reconnection fee from $0 to $20 per phone line, then also give me a better plan in my CURRENT contract.  They are merging with AT&T and their customer service is going downhill.  The reason I referred EVERYONE to tmobile was because they treated customers with more respect and dignity.  But it’s going down the crapper and FAST!  I will not be back and will use the wal mart phones going forward.

Look Megan, you wouldnt have a problem paying your T-Mobile bill and texting Michael Bay, or Jerry Bruckheimer or whomever it is you worked with on Transformers, if you didnt bail out on Transformers 3. I mean, it was really simple, show up to work, not goof around and do a few scenes, eat some great food on set, and get paid, take said paycheck to T-Mobile, pay bill, continue to text friends rather than get “PAY YO BILL MEGAN!” texts from T-Mobile demanding you do so. Kinda brought this on yourself ya know!

PS. You were smoking hot in Jennifer’s Body, and I dont even like girls.

There is a $5 service warranty fee (with free overnight shipping) if you pay for the extended warranty or the PHP insurance bundle for 3.99/7.99 / mo respectively. If you do not have the insurance/warranty bundle or the extended warranty, there is no fee for filing a warranty claim but you pay $20 for ground shipping.

tmo changed the due date to the 28th and for the first time started charging the $20 restore fee for partially suspeneded service thay maid thease changes in the same month and without proper or legal notice that means if you pay your bills at the begining of the month like most people it will be late.and tmo will suspened your service and make you pay $5 late fee and $20  restore fee.this dirty move will net them a lot! of money at are exspence this is a total rip off and tmo should not be allowed to get away with it.i will cansel my service file a report with the better buissness bureau, consumer complaint and sugest everybody to do the same tmo = bad bussniss
