T-Mobile Branded HTC Sensation 4G In The Wild!

Since we know how much you all love in the wild shots of upcoming T-Mobile phones we thought we’d oblige with some pics of the HTC Sensation 4G. Easily one of the hottest T-Mobile phones to hit the market in recent memory the Sensation 4G brings 4.3″ Android goodness to Magenta shelves. Still scheduled for a June 8th release one of our ninjas recently got some hands on time with the device and was kind enough to send in some pics and show some TmoNews love while they were at it. The Sensation 4G arrival on T-Mobile was no mystery as it was announced right from the get go as a Magenta exclusive but this is the first time we’re seeing a T-Mobile branded edition hanging out in the wild.

As a quick refresh the Sensation 4G rocks a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.2GHz processor, HTC Sense 3.0, 1080p recording, 8 megapixel camera, qHD screen and of course T-Mobile 4G.

Check out the gallery!

Thanks Jonathan from Queens!

Why do carriers stamp their ugly logos on the beautiful fronts of their phones? Look at the iPhone and Nexus 1/S, beautiful untarnished screens. The MyTouch 4G and SideKick 4G are good examples since its their own iconic logo brand but the Sensation and G2X look ugly. Also look at the X10, HTC Inspire, and Atrix 4G on AT&T all have that ugly ATT logo on the back instead of the front.

  • Bxcutie4life2001

I’m kinda disappointed that it doesn’t include a sdcard with the small amount of memory the phone comes with to begin with, i think i’m gonna wait till the phone comes out in the store to play with it b4 making a decision btwn this and g2x

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Juan-Carlos-Canas/100001424142890 Juan Carlos Canas

I returned my G2X, just to see this phone out in the market. Honestly I was more than happy with the G2X. The only reason I might end up going with this phone would be because of the 4.3 inch display. Other then that, the G2X is far better phone. I can tell this thing will be over flooded with bloatware. And who knows how long it’ll take for it to get rooted.

      • Anonymous

wait for gsII the benchmarks on this phone are similar to the g2x the gs2 is far far faster

      • Anonymous

I returned the G2X because of screen leakage, and also because everyone getting replacements found they had screen leakage and other issues. I loved the G2X and if they rolled out units with new displays and bug fixes I’d be all over it.  I’ll give the Sensation a try and see if it lives up to its name. I’m interested in seeing how the battery fares. My Nexus One with Android 2.3.4 has incredible battery life now without my taking any steps to conserve. I go nearly two full days with web browsing, bt, wifi, calls. It’s unbelievable now. I don’t think anything can match it without jumping through many conservation hoops. Well done Google. Give us the same magic with the Sensation.

        • Itmustbejj

You won’t get the same battery life because of the 4.3 inch screen. The nexus one and my MT4G get such awesome battery life (esp with CM) because of the smaller screen size. The # 1 user of battery on a lot of these new phones is the display (unless you have crappy signal then it will be your radio scanning for a signal).

      • TypicalWhitePerson

G2X is T-Mobile’s biggest FLOP of the year besides Carly. Sensation OWNS that device in every way possible!!

        • Anonymous

The Sensation does not own it in every way possible. The only way it owns it is in the display. Other than that the G2X has the better processor and isn’t running NON-Sense.

        • Ballin Indian

Yea, the Sensation does pretty much own the G2X. Let’s see: better screen (larger and with better resolution), better design, better ui, better version of Android, more RAM, better battery, and more. Essentially a tie with the processor, cameras, and size. The 1 thing the G2X has over the Sensation is internal memory, but the Sensation’s build quality will balance that out vs. the LG’s horrible quality control. I don’t see how a phone that has horrible build quality (I’m not just speaking of having problems, I’m also speaking about the build itself as to me the G2X feels very cheap in hand) can even compete with a brand new top of the line phone.

Sold my iPhone 4 for this. Now I’m using a crappy razr for the next 2 weeks! Can’t wait!

    • SocalTeknique

RAZR? Oh yeah back then when Motorola made great and innovative phones.

      • Aerofanbig

You mean back when Motorola made great and innovative phones…..for Tmobile lol. Some of their androids are really sharp, but, they’re Verizon only

      • Anonymous

Yea, I think all of Motorola’s Android offerings have been butt ugly. Motorola made one of my all time favorite devices. Anyone remember the V60. That thing just screamed class.

    • Anonymous

LOL… I sold my HD2 (running FroYo) and my Vibrant, both so to free up the wallet for a Sensation and/or the SGS2.  I got an LG Optimus T to tide me over.

The Optimus T is a great phone, but it’s no Vibrant.

Two weeks ago I couldn’t take it any longer and bought a used Vibrant on eBay.  Got it for $200, which is a great price for a Vibrant (also intended to possibly give it to my sister who needs voice dialing, etc.)

When I booted up the phone I really pleased to find out the seller had sold me an SGS 4G not a Vibrant.  When I popped in my SIM I was again pleased to see “4G” my taskbar.

      • Tortionist

you’re right, the Optimus T is not a Vibrant, but for over 90% of the people out there, my wife included, an Optimus T is more than enough. Me….i’m enjoying my rooted G2, for now, with CM7 flashed..extremely fast.

        • TypicalWhitePerson

The Optimus T is actually a good phone. You can still tether and use the device as a hotspot. On top of that, its solid and looks and feels like the same size as my Nexus One in my hand. I plan on gettin me one just for back-up purposes.

        • Tortionist

You won’t regret it. It’s a great phone, minus the non-existent trackpad. I may get another one for me if the Defy doesn’t work out.

  • Tortionist

I think i’ll pass on this one and check out the Motorola Defy. I’ll root it and run CM7, while erasing motoblur if that’s possible as well as overclock it. I think it’ll be cool having a waterproof, dustproof, and scratch resistant screen on a phone.

    • Ron Dickerson

      it’s not water-proof.

      • Tortionist

water resistant…whatever. I understand the difference and what it means.

        • Aerofanbig

I am really enjoying the DEFY. Its nice to have a smaller package with a fairly powerful phone. Not everyone needs a damn near mini-tablet for a phone. I don’t watch videos or surf way too much on my phone, so having a 4.3 or 4.5″ phone is just a burden. Wish some more companies would offer some full screen/small bezel phones like this. And yes, there are ROM’s you can flash that are de-blurred! Some Euro versions don’t come with BLUR, it was pretty easy to create the roms. Overclocked to just 1ghz with no BLUR seems to REALLY make the phone rock. Enjoy

        • Tortionist

Thanks bro. I will probably get it in a month or two.

  • Anonymous

The only company in the world to call this phone 4G. I feel is if they are making fun of Americans, as having such a low IQ as not being able to deal with terms such as HSDPA+ or UMTS.

3.5G ad 3.75G is still 3G. Apples and Oranges.

    • Ron Dickerson

Most people aren’t smart enough to understand the difference.  I’ve seen people who’ve had android phones for 6 months and the only “smart” functions they know about on their phones is that it has flash support and they can download ringtone apps.  Sometimes they don’t even know they can get apps on them, or they don’t know what a Gmail account is… after owning it for 6+ months.

so, no… most people aren’t smart enough to understand the difference.

    • garet

most of dont care if its 3.75 or 4 as long as the download speeds are fast enough and with the mytouch4g I consistently get better speeds then any Evo 4g owner I know in my area Chicago area for that matter so I dont mind them calling it 4g…..
Its like when Dodge branded an Omni with the Shelby name it was a little 4 cylinder gas saver but the Shelby version was FAST!!!!! but nobody believed it was a real sports car pony car just a fast as hell gas saver.

  • Davidmiddljr

poppa likes!! MT4G replacement until the next best thing comes

    • Anonymous

myt4g is prob the most underrated phone of the last cycle of phones. I love mine. Everything about it is solid

      • Itmustbejj

This is so true, the MT4G is the exact same hardware as the Desire HD or the Inspire 4G but in a 3.8 inch form factor

      • Zifnab2k

Except the plastic outer ring creaks when you squeeze it. Only managed to keep it 1 day before getting a refund, stuck with my n1.

      • Anonymous

I love the specs, but it looks… Eh?

Samsung Vibrant looks more professional and is lighter too, had to switch back.

  • Koreankkim

Anyone know how long the battery would last under moderate/heavy use? The specs are over the top and if there is just a 1520mAH battery, i dont think it could get through a day of use. Would it be like the htc thunderbolt?

    • Xboarder56

No there is a thread in xda about battery life from the eurpopean owners on vodo phone and it last almost all day heavy use

      • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1586820069 steadymobb

xda threads have not been kind to this phone

  • Mavricxx

Too bad this phone only has 1GB of internal memory, that just ruins things for me.  I’d rather wait for the SGS2

    • Zifnab2k

1gb is a bummer, but looks like SGS2 probably won’t be coming to T-Mobile, and the wait will likely be until September for an equivalent (That’s if leaked roadmaps are to be believed).

Really don’t understand why HTC keeps clinging on to using 1gb or less internal storage… I would rather get no sd-card and 9gb on board than 1gb on board and 8 gb sd, SD just doesn’t run as fast as the onboard storage. With that said, I’ve managed not to max out the tiny amount of storage on my Nexus One (though I do have to restrain myself and clear programs out that I don’t use), but I would love to have nearly endless storage for my apps.

      • Anonymous

        I totally agree.

        • Anonymous

I have 16 GBs of internal space on Samsung Vibrant, don’t use more than 2 GBs. Only use for apps and ROMs for my emulators (which is best for speed), other than that, external SD is perfect. I would hate to not be able to use my 16 GB SD card.

      • Anonymous

Nope. I definitely prefer the storage card. Most of the people who read this sure regularly switch phones regularly as well. The same 16gig card has come with me from the Bold, Nexus One, HD2, Nexus One (again), Vibrant, MyTouch 4g, Galaxy S 4g, G2, and now the G2x.

Internal storage means I must connect to a computer. No thanks.

      • TypicalWhitePerson

Nah, I prefer removable memory any day… especially considering the fact that my 55 inch LED takes SD cards =)

    • Noel

The 1Gb internal memory thing is a drag to a superb device

      • Anthonyr1018

This sensation phone Anit got shit on the g2x …ok fine they got gingerbread but then the g2x gets gingerbread is a rap ..NVIDIA tegra 2 dual core processor vs HTC bullshit qualcomm snapdragon dual core processor ….now lets be serious you do the math!!

Yet another vulgar device with an OS designed for bearded fat men, wankers and poofters alike.  Everyone knows you lot of Android cultists are a bunch of greasy fat Americans, stuffing your faces with your fast food, wallowing in your own sick with only your lice as companions… Go take a shower and grow up.

    • Hannah123

Woah….. woke up on the wrong side of bed this morning, did ya?

    • TypicalWhitePerson

Apple still OWNS Android so by no means am I some compulsive licker of Androids anus like most of the idiots who post on this blog. However, I’m still getting the Sensation which owns any other device T-Mobile has ever released… including the failed G2x. Just like I will be getting the next iPhone device.

      • Zifnab2k

I would love to hear your theory on how Apple OWNS Android… considering Android has dominated the market and releases features 3 – 6 months before apple. Aren’t you on the wrong site to celebrate Apple? You’re on a Tmobile news site, and this is a post about an Android phone. Go troll elsewhere.

        • Staceyt131

One device compared to a 100 android phones? Apple definitely owns Android.

        • Tortionist

That’s fallacial thinking dummy. You compare smartphone to smartphone, OS to OS, company to company, not phones to an OS, otherwise your comparison is invalid. That’s simple economics, common sense, etc. Here, let me help you get it right. Google owns Apple. Android owns IOS. For now I-phone owns all other smartphones, due to a brilliant marketer and businessman that likes to nickel and dime you to death.

        • TypicalWhitePerson

          Make me…

        • Anonymous

Your ten year old response is an epic fail.  Poor little guy.

      • Anonymous

Yes, because Apple offers the best apps. Oh wait…

Yes, because Apple lets you play Flash content. Oh wait…

Yes, because Apple lets you be free from constantly having to connect to your computer. Oh wait…

Yes, because Apple will let you multitask. Oh wait…

Yes, because Apple lets you choose the device that best fits you (ie, keyboard, big screen, budget, etc.) Oh wait…

Apple can’t possibly compete, most people only buy iPhones because it gives them a boost in self confidence and because people will think they’re cool. Android on the other hand… Functionality, anyone?

        • TypicalWhitePerson

Same reason why every other top tier Android device from each carrier has marketed against the iPhone… but FAILED!! Motorola DROID (Verizon) vs. iPhone, MyTouch 4G (T-Mobile) vs. iPhone, EVO 4G (Sprint) vs. iPhone, HTC Thunderbolt (Verizon) vs. iPhone, and now the FAILED G2X (T-Mobile) vs. iPhone!! The Sensation is T-Mobile’s last working oxygen tank to compete with the mothership of Apple.

All have tried but FAILED to convince Americans that Android is better… in which it isn’t anyway. Verizon have came close, but T-Mobile failed and left their flagship device’s to get swept like the Lakers. At least VZW got SMART and joined forces with Apple to bring that beautiful “typical white iPhone 4″. You go to their website, and thats the first device you see, NOT Android… same with AT&T. When Sprint get the iPhone, they will do the same. And if you don’t think T-Mobile was to get the iPhone and not promote the device ahead of silly dumb phones such as the Sidekick 4G or that horrible G2X… then I’m the guy who hacked the PlayStation Network.

Remember geeks, Apple iOS = WINNING!!

        • Anonymous

A sing Android device cannot compete with the iPhone. Any idiot can comprehend why. It’s because if you want to use iOS, you only have one device to buy. If you choose to use Android, you have multiple devices to choose from. Not only are company’s like Motorola, LG, Samsung and HTC competing with Apple, there also competing with each other. If there were only one low end Android device, one mid range and one high end to choose from then each of those devices would outsell the iPhone. When a OS is available on 50 different phones, each one of them obviously isn’t going to sell more.

        • Tortionist

OJ.. I agree with that, but also Economics says that any device/technology that is the first out there, has the advantage, but will eventually over time fall to competitors. I-phone was the first touchscreen smartphone in the U.S. so everyone else is playing catch up. Android is already the number one smartphone OS.

        • Anonymous

Oh really? Please explain how Android has failed to prove its better than the iPhone. The only reason companies advertise against the iPhone is because its the most bought phone (because there’s only 4 models, not because its amazing).

“Android now has a third of the US market (33%). RIM’s share has plummeted to 29%. Apple is holding at 25%.”

This is on Business Insider. Other sites have this info as well.

In March 2008, Android held 8% of the market share. Fast forward 3 years, its owns it. I think Americans know Android is superior…

What I think you mean is “No wireless company has proved to have the best Android phone”. 100+ Android phones, and 4 iOS phones, I think you see how more likely it is for ONE iOS device to outsell ONE Android device. Overall, Android wins, which is what matters.

Also, I’m sure geeks know the benefits of Linux over iOS, true ones anyway.

        • TypicalWhitePerson

If Android wins, then T-Mobile would be winning, in which its not, sadly! T-Mobile was the first to introduce an Android phone (G1), which was a total disaster and FAIL!! Remember, first impression is everything. T-Mobile have no choice but to rely heavily on Android and its sucky reputation. There are far more reports of Android devices malfunctioning than the iPhone. Face it dude, everybody wants an iPhone. Why? Because its smoother, less-complicated to operate, eye-catching, compact, and just have that iconic signature to it. Half the Androids thats out people have no idea about them except the nerds. For there to be a million Androids marketed against one Apple iPhone in the last of it’s 3 generations is just SAD!!

Even the iPod Touch is #winning and OWNS Android…

        • Anonymous

T-Mobile has the WORST advertising campaign. Verizon has the best, hence why its most successful. Because different manufacturers have different quality control. Huawai or whatever it is, makes horrible Android phones. Not everyone wants to have an iPhone, while I do admit its a nice piece of technology.

          Smoother? In some cases.

Less complicated? No, just simple, not customizable, not much to with it.

Eye-catching? My Samsung Vibrant looks better than any iPhone.

Compact? Again, my Samsung Vibrant is lighter and thinner. That’s just one of MANY examples.

Iconic? I must admit, smartphones wouldn’t be what they are today without the original, but people need to realize the game is changing and Apple can’t keep up.

iPod Touch is basically an iPhone 4 without a radio and a decent camera.

        • TypicalWhitePerson

Apple iPhone is the foundation of what has become with premium touchscreen smartphones. Look at your AMOLED display and the way the apps are displayed and lined up. Yeah!!

When was the last time you seen or heard about people camping outside T-Mobile stores overnight, lining up around the block and then some for the Vibrant, Galaxy S 4G, MyTouch, G2X, Nexus S, and so forth… selling out in a day and causing online orders to shutdown… racking up massive amounts of back-orders… just like what the iPhone do at launch on release day?? Yeah, exactly!

IMO the Vibrant is very flimsy. If I had too, I would pick the MyTouch 4G over that phone in a heart beat for its sturdiness and solid build.
LOL at you saying the Vibrant looks better than the iPhone 4… can I have what you’re smoking? You was better off saying the Galaxy S 4G or something else besides the Vibrant. That’s definitely a personal opinion right there.

If Apple can’t keep up, then why companies waste their time trying to market against it? Americans aren’t stupid! When there’s several ads from multiple carriers rivaling against the same device, all that does is just make the iPhone seem even more inferior and appealing. Android has a hefty share in the market place. Well yeah, DUHHHH, I never heard of iPhones being offered for free with a contract, unlike Android phones.

        • Anonymous

I’m sure another phone would’ve revolutionized the phone industry, just later in time if the iPhone didn’t happen.

I hate the way Samsung made the home app UI, so I installed LauncherPro. As I’m sure most people do.

Again, ONE iPhone, MANY Android phones. Google “Logic Fallacy”.

Flimsy because its made of mainly plastic? Or because its so light? Or because its so thin? Just the screens looks amazing, even though it pushes less pixels. The Galaxy 4G IS a Vibrant, with a FFC, less internal memory, and a 4G radio. Again, personal preference, so not going to dive too much.

Because companies want to win over WHATEVER IS ON TOP. If poop in a can is the latest fashion, that’s what companies will advertise against. Simple logic. The iPhone is inferior, except for the great resolution. Never had signal loss due to holding my phone in a way Samsung didn’t intend me to (Apple has a specific way, they mentioned it).

I’ve never once heard my friends that I’ve convinced to Android say “Goddamn Android, iOS is where its at”. At the most, they say “I miss iTunes”. To which I send them a link to iTunes Agent, and they are happy once more. Oh, the big thing they love, is being able to replace the battery. Kinda sad that they’re favorite feature is such a simple one, not like “We can play Flash content!” or “Yay! No more boring homescreens with endless scrolling!”.

        • Tortionist

TWP, you are a complete douche bag. You obviously have no grasp of business. Just because Android is winning, doesn’t mean T-mobile will. Android is only a portion of T-mobile, not vice versa. Learn a few things then you might have some validity.

        • Tortionist

Actually you’re wrong. If all that you said were true, then Android would not be the number one OS for smartphones, now would it genius?

        • Dewey Cox

      • Tortionist

You’re so stupid, get a life. Android is an OS, Crapple is a company. So at least be smart enough to make the right comparison…moron. Android owns IOS and Google owns Apple. I-phone owns other phones, but that’s it…moron.

The Sensation is definitely #winning and the Android device of the decade. I will be getting rid my Nexus One and BB 9780 to make up for most of the cost of getting this phone. Apple iOS still ’til this day OWNS Android, so I will be keeping my iPhone but the Sensation will and probably be my last Android device I buy for T-Mobile. Switching to VZW when/if the merger happens.

Its still iPhone or die… because I’m winning!!!!

DO YOU THINK YOUR CLEVER OR FUNNY OR SOMETHING?

    • TypicalWhitePerson

G2X was old news on the day that it launched…

      • Anonymous

iPhone 4 was old news from launch as well…

        • TypicalWhitePerson

Nah not really, iPhone 4 is actually #winning… just ask Verizon!!

BTW, get off my nuts dude… geeeshh!!!

        • Anonymous

Lol, I didn’t realize you were the same person from the other convo.

        • Tortionist

As a phone, yes, but IOS is losing to Android, why? because it’s so damned locked down. Steve jobs is a brilliant marketer and businessman, but that’s it. he could sell freezers to Eskimos. The I-phone is a mid-level smartphone at best. Most Android phones can do a lot more than the I-phone with its locked down system, antennae issue( I still love that press conference), no external memory card, I-tunes( worst software in the world). I could go on for a while, but it’d be pointless since I need some sleep. The I-phone is a fad sold to an unsuspecting public that bought it all hook, line, and sinker.

        • Mag3472

Google iphone vs android, nuff said, read and weep, iphone is a status symbol for people who hip….lmao. Like starbucks. Iphone = people who want to be led. Android = people to lead.

I, for one, don’t care about Samsung so please don’t reply or comment saying the SGS2 is better. Please and thanks. I can care less about a better screen. I’ve read every single comment before posting and got to say, this is a Sensation article. Not a “which phone is better discussion”.

Sheesh.. Some of you people are trippin me out about this damn Samsung.

    • Anonymous

True, only thing I see of a difference is the Super AMOLED Plus display. Makes a huge difference on my Vibrant compared to my friends Inspire 4G or Droid X.

      • Sniper1087

Vibrant uses Super Amoled Screen not Super Amoled plus, which is even better than the display you currently have, the problem i see with the SGS2 is the cheap built it has since is all plastic.

      • Thagreat93

the vibrant did have a nice screen esp playing sims in direct sunlight but i hated the no flash camera front facing camera n not getting an  update for a year so im getting this f@#k the sg2 because it never going to b better than HTC and Motorola n sidekick 4g was okay it sold out twice  ididnt buy

    • TypicalWhitePerson

SamSUCK just needs to stay away from the wireless business. There phones sucks and so does anyone who owns one!! Leave the manufacturing to Apple, HTC, LG, Motorola, and hell I even say SonyEricson and Sharp. The LX 2009 was very solid. SamSUCK is the reason why the Sidekick 4G FLOPPED!!

Then y’all wonder why Verizon is #WINNING… because they don’t invest to much stock into bringing Samsung smartphones to their line up. #Geniuses

      • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1339612527 Adrian Parks

I’ve never liked Samsung dating back to feature phones. Now when it comes to TV’s, they have my business but not phones. As I think about it, you are absolutely right about Verizon. Do they even have any Samsung devices? I think they have a Galaxy S but I wouldn’t know because I don’t pay either any attention.

TouchWiz is horribly ugly and IMHO too much like an iPhone which I don’t really like. They’re dedicated  home key, menu, etc. setup is not what’s up either.

I so didn’t mean to post this extra unneeded comment. I was testing the waters with the FB thing. I’m “AdrianMT4G”.

If the boot-loader isn’t unlocked than I don’t want it.

    • http://twitter.com/Bobby_Phoenix Bobby Phoenix

Wow.  It is THE best phone for T-Mobile from HTC.  Saying that is like saying If I buy a MB 500S (being able to afford it mind you), and can’t change the engine I won’t buy it.  Really?  You can’t be happy with just being able to buy and use the best?  OK.  I think that is crazy.  All these people complaining about this is locked, and that is locked.  Move on people, and use the phone the way it comes to market.  If you want to root, and change things, then get a phone that is easy to do that to, don’t knock an awesome phone because it’s locked down.  Most people don’t even care about that.  5 billion users, and 100K devs.  Manufactures don’t really care.  They get their money.  Just sayin’ my opinion.

    • Jon

Hold your horses Michael! That boot loader isn’t something that the folks at XDA can’t get past. Give them a few days with the device and they will unlock it and so much more. I don’t see why people complain about locked boot loaders when the hacking community will get past it. That is a silly reason for no wanting to buy an awesome phone like this.

  • Smakkie

wow can’t wait any longer,i want this baby locked or unlocked makes no difference

  • Youngt82

Hopefulyy htcunlocks theire bootloarder just in time this phone gets released :)

Makes me think this “Jonathan” fellow “found” it in a store… Since its Queens and people are known to “find” things there…

  • piers

This  has got to be the most pointless fanboy rave-up I’ve seen in ages.I’m un subscribing this pointless bitchfest.. *winy voice* my G2X is better than the xxx phone…. or the iphone x  sheesh, get a life people.

  • Jon

It looks like T-Mobile is on fire! They are releasing high end smart phones like there is no tomorrow. While It is nice to see I don’t know T-Mobile keeps losing subscribers after the whole AT&T announcement. This handset looks great. I like it but I think I’ll pass though I really have my eye on the Samsung Galaxy 2.

    • Buaioeae

I agree with you. SG2 is better phone. I don’t like my Sensation. Mostly because its screen is not even close to quality od super moled I had on my Galaxy S 4G. Sensation is nice phone but it didn’t pump my heart up when I was unpacking it.

  • Lalapeach

    is there a price?

  • Chad_ATX

This phone is lacking internal storage. Has 1g of internal storage. I understand I can add a microSD, but this is cheaping out on HTC side. If they are cheap on the storage, what else were they cheap on?

       GOOD point! WTF??

  • Rapter46

Am tired of people saying that the iphone is better than andriod!! its not people get the iphone because they think its cool its like when new jordans come out and people wait in line all nite for those!

I happy with my G2X. I will wait till ATT merger happens then leave. Can not deal with ATT wireless. Love my Uverse

    • Alvin B.

I think now’s the time to upgrade, too. If you’re gonna be stuck in a contract, better do it early so your 3g/4g bands aren’t shut off yet by the time you’re ready for the next phone.

  • Ungibbed

Looks like T-Mo is going out with a bang with both high end Android phones and the BlackBerry lineup. If the Merger fails though, I feel T-Mo still has the products that people are looking for (other than the iPhone in the USA of course)

It’s a tough decision between this or the Bold 9900 series for me. Either way, I’m paying cash for the phone as I don’t want to be locked into contract for another few years and ETF if the ^(%@ hits the fan with this possible merger.

    • Dwkaratekid

T mobile plans are better than AT&T!!!!

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_4BG5YPLWXRBX2XOCFXTKOHXSU4 bb

4.3″?? These phones are going to just be as big as tablets soon. Where do I stick this thing? In my purse? Easy 5″ with a case.  TMo service has been pissing me off lately; prolly planning ahead so we won’t be shocked by ATT. Easy transition to nice phones w/ sheet service.

    • Greetingsiamwu

crybaby. don’t buy it then you fucking tool.

    • Alvin B.

Hey, BB, 2003 called. They have your 1.2″ screen.

Seriously, I still love my Vibrant but the G2X tempted me until it flamed out, so Sensation might be my next love.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_4BG5YPLWXRBX2XOCFXTKOHXSU4 bb

How sad; ppl drooling over phones. While the country burns…

i still dont understand why this phone is so much slower than the sgII is the qualcom processor that shitty ?

    • Coronaboy102000

It is because the SGS2 uses its Mali gpu to render webpages while the Sensation doesnt.
