We’ve had some pretty good indicators this announcement was on the horizon but T-Mobile has gone and made the T-Mobile G2X official. Launching in “Spring,” the G2X will be the very first dual-core device to land on T-Mobile shores. The G2X has a 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor, 4″ capacitive touch screen display and comes preloaded with such games as Need for Speed SHIFT HD.
The G2X will drop with Android 2.2 on board and come equipped with an 8 megapixel rear facing camera with LED flash and a front facing camera for use with T-Mobile video chat.
While T-Mobile has yet to reveal a “Spring” release date, our sources are pointing toward an April 20th launch.
