More Goodies Found In Leaked T-Mobile G2 Build

Of course, you remember that leaked G2 ROM.  It did just leak a couple of days ago.  Anyway, some brave souls have taken the time to flash their (rooted) devices with the leaked ROM and come across some interesting finds.  Namely, there are some included Apps and Widgets that definitely mark this as a T-Mobile phone, but we knew that already.  Up above is the G2′s noteworthy welcome screen, making sure to note the speeds that this device will enjoy.  The rest of the screenshots can be found below.  So take your time, stay awhile, and leave your thoughts in the comments!

Hmm, so I’m guess T-Mobile will be using the “H” instead of “3G” for HSPA+ enabled areas?

    • Tokinotabumblb

If your area has HSPA+, then it would show “H” instead of “3G”.

      • Zach

Not true I never have an H displayed but I always have HSPA+

      • briaann

i got the H on my N1 rooted with cyanogen passion phone says HSPA , and NJ has HSPA+ but never had the H before rooting

      • tokinotabumblb

Going forward with HSPA+ enabled devices, it will show the “H” on the bar. The current devices won’t show the “H” because it is not fully capable and it is running on HSDPA. If the phone is rooted, then it can show “H”.

  • ritz0426

3D screen is awesome. now lets remove the annoying t-mobile apps. no one cares.
my kids don’t need to see my account.
like all the preloaded google aps!

    • 2FR35H

They don’t, they only see how much they use

  • Tokinotabumblb

So Sept 29th is the launch date, but is there supposed to be a “soft launch” like what they did for the MyTouch Slide?

  • jonathan

This must be new because I can say that it certainly doesn’t say “H” on my Vibrant though I’m in Houston; a HSPA+ city. I personally like the idea of showing you’re using their high-speed network but it’s not something that any phone prior to the G2 (unless rooted) will display.

    • Tokinotabumblb

I guess going forward with HSPA+ enabled devices, it will show “H”. The ones that are currently out right now will only say “3G” unless it’s rooted. The only way to check if you are using HSDPA is if you check your network signal.

    • Tokinotabumblb

Yeah, pretty much what you said. lol

    • Don Boogie

The G2 is the first phone that will be capable of operating on T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network, so there is no reason you’d ever see an “H” on your Vibrant…it’s “only” capable of reaching 3G speeds.

      • zapote21

LOL.. Not true… The reason it doesnt show a H is because up until now, all phones come with that “switch” disabled in the software. So it always tells the software to show the 3G icon.
Cyanogen’s and most rooted roms have that switch on, so even a 3G phone, which is capable of detecting and taking advantage of higher 3G speeds on a HSPA network, will show the H icon.

    • davidohio

You will not see an H on any Vibrant because it is not an HSPA+ dedicated device, it is a 3G device that will benefit from the HSPA network. The G2 will be the first HSPA+ device from T-mobile and that will display the H if you are in an HSPA+ market.

      • Don

My HD2 has always shown a H when in a HSPA area and G in a 3G area.

      • Reece

I think a phone could still display the H when they are on HSPA+, but assuming it isn’t an HSPA+ of course they’ll just benefit from that HSPA+ network boost & not the 14-21kbps speeds…

  • TonyJohns

Waiting on official full specs, and if it comes with Vanilla Android, I’m sold! Will Preorder!

Just hope it doesn’t come with that “espresso” mess. That was one of the reasons I returned my slide.

    • Tokinotabumblb

It should be vanilla because it said G2 with Google. Plus, it looks like live wallpaper from the screenshots. The Sense didn’t support live wallpaper.

    • tokinotabumblb

He’s talking about the Espresso Sense. That one doesn’t support live wallpaper.

      • krtarnold

Umm I’m pretty Espresso would support it if the slide wasnt a mid-range phone. Its not the ui that supports it its the phone, needs a high end phone for live wallpapers

      • atlantian

if the g1 can running it than the slide can just likely need to change launcher from t-mobiles

    • tokinotabumblb

The Slide can accept live wallpapers if its rooted.

  • SurgioArmani

Getting more excited every day. I had my doubts about the G2 at fist, but its becoming clear that this will be the successor to my G1 I’ve been looking for.

  • Manny

i cant wait until we get some video of the g2 running

  • MarcusHalberstram

When are we going to get some actual real video and info?

  • Alex

    Yes, vanilla android!! W

  • Alex

Yes, vanilla android!! Will be in my hands…

  • Alex

This is the nexus 2 we are looking at…Same build, added keyboard and most likely a developer phone..

    • Steve

True. This is unofficially the Nexus 2!

      • zapote21

Yes… When Google closed the store, they dumped it on TMO

      • newbiemn

FWIW- I don’t have a credible source, but a co-worker (Huge Apple fan, so has no real bias toward Android) mentioned a friend got a job at Google developing on Android and claimed they are working on a phone to surpass the Nexus 1. I asked if it was the G2 he said, no it wouldn’t be out for at least 6 months. I think he said they were working with HTC. But, perhaps our proprietor already has his finger on that pulse.

      • newbiemn

Oh and I know it is believable because he said they are not allowed to take the phone to bars, proving Google is smarter than Apple.

    • Skyler17

Nope, sure this has a common design with the Nexus 1, but Motorola stated after the N1s release that they would be manufacturing the N2.
Of course the whole thing flopped and so there was no N2.

The G2 is made to be a sucessor to the G1 in every way and is designed to be a T-mobile exclusive

  • NiiDiddy

I have the Google Voice App. But I dont have Google Voice Widgets!!! I WANT GOOGLE VOICE WIDGETS!!!!!!

  • Richard

I think these are the screenshots from a nexus running cm6 with gapps installed over it. Which would explain the H instead of 3G and the notification bar is rounded off at the top.

    • ihatefanboys

the H is for the superfast HSPA+ network….just as 3G was for the 3G network.

      • Richard

Read the original story on phonedog. This is why it has the H just like my nexus running CM. The HSPA+ is still 3G and the G2 will also more than likely display 3G instead of H. Stock Android doesn’t have rounded corners on notification bar either.

      • atlantian

its depends on if the manufacturer feels like putting it in or not htc is funny some phone they do some they don’t`

    • ihatefanboys

whoops nevermind, thought u said “would someone explain the H instead of 3G”…sorry dude

      • Richard

Np. I think there are people on here that thought these were actual screenshots from the G2. Just trying to clear it up for them. All of the android phones have the ability to display H but it is disabled to avoid confusion with the average consumer.

  • NiiDiddy

Vanilla Android is the BOMB!!! I’m getting Vanilla fever now…! Dunno about the phone, but I know all about Vanilla….lol. :)

  • Mahmoud

why in the screenshot there is a special app for calibration and a calibration screen? suspicious

    • Ivan

SUSPICIOUS OF WHAT! You sound so stupid right now

  • Mr MN

HAHA, I want to take all of this goodness and everything we now know about this phone and ram it down the throat of everyone who claimed they were “disappointed” with this phone the replacement to the G1. A lot of people were busy complaining about what this phone doesn’t do or have instead of what it brings to the table. Some said they won’t get it, it was a fail because it doesn’t come with a 4.3 inch, a ffc and a whole list of other stuff. Well, haters, all I have to say is IN YOUR FACE.

LOL you are like a guy in the desert and any crappy glass of water will do.

What’s the big deal. Tmobile can’t even get their 3G network working 100 %
So what’s the use of buying this phone.

      • funky

Everywhere I go, I get better coverage than family members that have Verizon and Sprint. You can’t really count AT&T because they drop so many calls. Maybe you weren’t holding your phone right?

      • Bobert

        Truth hurts Sergio?

      • Reece

        He has a point,

I’m in Philly and the Northwest sections of the city have spotty 3G coverage, and this is the supposed first city that benefited from the HSPA+ rollout.

At least reception is good enough to get & receive phone calls & gps signals but when one pays for 3G service you pretty much want 3G service within a “3G area” to be better.

      • SurgioArmani

I’m not saying he doesn’t have a valid point. I’m just saying what’s the point to posting that comment on an article about what’s included in the G2 ROM other than trying to be a buzzkill? It’d be one thing if this was a post about T-Mo’s coverage area or the original announcement of the plans for HPSA+. People have every right to their opinion, just don’t take a dump in my cereal when I’m trying to eat breakfast.

      • SurgioArmani

EDIT: HSPA+ Sorry for the typo. Should have used the hard keyboard originally. …And that’s why it makes a difference.

  • Robert

Is a Nexus 1 with a KB a bad thing? I’m looking for a reliable, grown-up phone, that will handle business apps well, i.e. contacts, calendar, email. I won’t be watching Avatar or playing games. A business days worth of battery would be a bonus.

  • http://tmonews Dr C

The nexus 2 is finally here, Go t mobile, you are redeeming yourself.

  • patrick

wow, this actually looks like, AWESOME. finally a high end android phone coming to tmobile, well not to exclude the vibrant. i dont have an upgrade for a while, but i am going to find someway to get this. and, vanilla android! wwoohhhoo

    • zazou

I don’t know.. Did you see the new HTC that Verizon is getting?? WOW!!! BoyGenius has pics up..

      • dwillistyle

Zazou i have to agree. I am excited for my G2 but WOW that nameless HTC phone for verizon is just beautiful. Although I am kinda partial to a physical keyboard these days.

  • http://tmonews Dr C

    What exactly is moderation?

  • David Thomas

    I’m jizzing right now.

  • abi

Why are there so many idiots here? ? ? This is a dam rom on another phone a rom from the g2. Forget about the dam h on the network bar remind your self the g2 will be an hspa+ phone doing 14mbps and its android vanilla y are some if you worried about some dumb thing like tmobile putting there apps on the phone leave them be they doing there android thing by making apps to make your life alil easier plus if ya worried about waste of space uh hello its the new android it has apps 2 sd. Dam

  • B

Sounds like a lot of people like it. I guess the reason I can’t get too excited for it is because I’ve had a Nexus since january, and the G2 isn’t a huge difference. Good for those coming from the G1, but it still doesn’t change my feelings on T-Mobile’s phone selection. Its just one phone.

    • AL

      Amen B

    • briaann

true its only a slight upgrade for a nexus owner but a big upgrade from a G1

  • Edward Mullens

*Rolls his eyes* You give them a Samsung modified UI, they complain and whine endlessly. You give them a stock Android Froyo UI, they still find things to whine about.

You don’t give them a keyboard, they complain and whine endlessly. You give them a keyboard, and they tell you that it’s just a Nexus one with a keyboard.

You give them 3G, they ask you where the HSPA+ is and they whine endlessly. You give them an HSPA+ phone with real time speeds of like FIVE TIMES that of 3G, and they aren’t overly excited.

I’m telling you this is a generation of fat, stupid, lazy, complacent whining Americans who can’t speak, can’t write or speak the Queen’s English, and don’t have remedial knowledge of anything that makes them competitive in the global marketplace. But they sure have opinions about everything, and endless hystrionic rants. Here’s a clue for you. No matter what phone you get, you’ll still wake up in the morning as a fat lazy slob with a meaningless life.

    • tokinotabumblb

      Amen!

    • Edward Mullens

If it’s of any solace to anyone, the days of this reality are quickly fading. Do you think China’s going to be able to endlessly bankroll American consumers with credit. I mean the American economy is increasingly based on non skilled service sector employees with the highest wages in the world and with credit flowing like candy from foreign countries that allows them to live with a better lifestyle than any generation of middle income people before them. It’s not bound to last forever. There will always be an elite of course, and skilled and high tech labor. But I am telling, if you all consider this reality, where the average consumer has the option of complaining about and purchasing new $500 devices every year, you are going to have a hard time adapting to reality. You might just have to live like the world we remember from when we were kids. When we valued other things. Friendships, relationships, actually walking outside. God forbid.

      • funkmasterC

When we all owned C64s and that was cutting edge…. We rode our bikes, played touch football and our parents didn’t have to worry about us coming home for dinner. Seems like a utopian dream now doesn’t it? The technology industry that we are all interested in has played a part in what you despise. It is the age of instant answers and gratification. Want it – look it up online. Why do I need to know it when I can find the answer in a matter of seconds…

In the context of history, this technology is very young. Until we can discipline our selves to take a step back, learn where the boundaries exist and what place technology should have in our lives, future generations will continue to have these problems. How can one have an intellectual conversation if they don’t have the knowledge to speak intelligently? “wait a second – let me look that up”…..

way too deep for this post…

    • mak

      +10000000000000! and im American!

edward i agree but people in general need to stop complaining all the time about things but people are people its age old you get one thing your dont get excited want something else rinse wash repeat an its sad really is an alot of times the people are spoiled no matter what they get they want more….its sad but i truly do agree with you and lol @the Queens English lol i think people forget the english language generated from well… ENGLAND lol i agree with you like i said

    • ihatefanboys

wow ! ive never completely agreed with anyone on these boards as much as i agree with u right now. the internet is to blame for all these opinionated asses. 15yrs ago if u wanted to rant u had to be on the radio or write a book….now any jackass with an internet connection can rant on about what he finds unsatisfactory in the world. twitter and facebook just made it worse. all of this is what i think create the hordes of people that INSIST upon a FFC on a phone. they think people care about them enuf to read their dribble and see their conceited lazy faces while they walk down the block to gamestop to buy the latest game because theyre 25 and still live home with mommy and daddy and dont pay rent, so have tons of money to spend on crap. my G1 was the most money ive spent on anything since my 800 laptop, lots of us dont get the luxury of constantly buying the next big thing. i have to save money and wait for a sale to even get a new TV…i still got a 200lb boxTV,lol its crazy how easy the 20sumthins have it….sad actually

      • Bobert

Get a job and stop being jealous of those that have more than you.
        Who hurt you?

      • Lisa

Not ALL 20somethings have it that easy…just want to put that out there. I’m 25 and I pay my own bills….work full-time (I’ve had a job since I was 14)…and go to school part-time. Some of us were raised with responsibilities, values, and without the luxuries of having mom and dad pay for everything.
I agree with most of what you all are saying. Just don’t pick on only the 20somethings….because some of use really do appreciate all that we have :)

      • Homey

Yeah, that’s great but you still live at home…

      • ihatefanboys

@bobert… ive been working full time+ for 24yrs, the + is because most of that was 6 day weeks…im still working 6 days a week…57hrs a week….without the OT i make almost nothing. so i do got a job, thanks….it has nothing to do with being jealous, it has to do with the complacency of the 20sumthing generation to always get what they want, because since rent is not an issue, or buying food, they only hav their cellphone bill to pay, so tons of money can be used for whatever…id love to get a new XBOX 360 to replace the old original XBOX i have, but then id have to sacrifice something, like food, or paying my rent, or my electric. putting that aside, my main point is that the internet has created a generation of whiners, that wouldnt stand up to u if they saw u in the street, but type away like theyre god on the internet….”this phone better do this, that , and the next thing, or else !!!” thats all i and others see all the time, not just here , but on phandroid, phonedog, etc. is it true of all 20sumthins ? NO, but quite a percentage.

      • ihatefanboys

@lisa…. then i do applaud u, that is very good of u, im sure u are not planning on staying at home into your 30s tho. seems like u have a plan….at least, i hope u do…. lol :-)

  • Tmohoopla

Looks like a cyanogen build with the rounded edges at the top near there notification bar…

  • vinny

This phone looks like my Nexus One plus keyboard. All the apps, screen and of course the vanilla android look.
PS If your Nexus one is rooted and running custom rom then you would see the H instead of the the 3G if you were in the area.
I will have to give up my Nexus One I think for this device if it is as good as it appears to be.
Great job T-Mobile, keep them coming.

  • http://infinitycodes.com willis

C’mon Edward, don’t hold back….just tell us how you REALLY feel

  • Theundying1

uhhhhh stock android, i think i just came alittle…..

  • JM

*Rolls Eyes* Wow Eddie that was quite a histrionic rant my friend. Not that you don’t have a few valid points, particularly about credit and the economy. You have to understand that this whining and complaining you see has to be taken with a grain of salt. Much like movies and video games, a lot of technology (cell phones in this case) is used as an escape. Obviously all forms of entertainment from music to sports to cell phones are luxury and not necessity items. Using your logic nobody should voice disappointment about any of these things. All I’m saying is relax a little, it is all entertainment. No need for name calling and stereotyping.

  • jkspike3

i cant wait for this phone to come out

    • thaghost

i cant wait either. that’s why i want the specs. something to calm me down. something to get me excited. something to get me up. something to get me down. lol jus kidding. release the phone pls. my g1 is gonna explode!!

  • thaghost

how come this g2 is kept under wraps? we cant get any confirmed specs. its seems like we get the specs of every other phone b4 its released. this is frustrating. SORRY FOR WHINING AGAIN EDWARD.

  • TMOprophet

I have noticed several times with some other members and myself include, have asked or reached out to David or other mods here for any info about the Glacier, so far I havent seen one single response to this device from you tmonews guys. Is it simply that you guys know nothing about it? or is it like super top secret and mum is the word?

    • JM

Rumor has it that the HTC Glacier will be the Sidekick Twist and has been pushed back to next year. I think David mentioned it a while back. Of course it is all rumor and conjecture.

      • TMOprophet

I know he mentioned the sidekick being pushed back, however he or no one else has addressed the Glacier since his Project Emerald article recently.

    • JM

I don’t think we will see a dual core phone out this year. Qualcomm shipped those chips out kind of late. And of course no one will release a killer flagship phone right after the holidays so it may be late Q1 before we see anything like that. I love the idea of that dual speed but MAN the thought of the crappy battery life scares me!

    • Andrew

It is being treated as a very secret device. Not much is known. We should be hearing some more, postworthy and trustworthy, leaks soon

  • phxgoose

question: if this phone has a processor running at only 800mhz, will it beable to run the next incarnation of android? The 3.x series? Since from what i’ve read it needs to be 512 ram or greater, 3.5″ screen or greater and 1ghz proccessor or greater. Anyone have any word on this?

    • Andrew

those required specs are rumors. This will be upgradeable.

      • phxgoose

okay hopefully this doesnt turn out to be a mytouch or cliq thing. I’m really excited about this phone, coming from my g1.

      • TMOprophet

you got anything on the Glacier device??? Someone has got to know something.

      • Steve

        @TMOprophet:

I think they would tell us something if they knew anything.

    • Skyler17

The G2 is supposed to run on the MSM7×30 Snapdragon processor (800mhz) including the new Adreno 205 GPU. This is supposed to be a newer version of the current snapdragon chip like the one inside the HD2.
So the processor speed may be a tad slower (better battery life) but it has a revamped graphics chip that should give a noticeable advancement over the older 1ghz snapdragons.

  • http://dolphinfree.net Tenkely

Looks like all our vocal activism in support of vanilla Android is going to pay off!! Go team Vanilla!!!!

    • David Thomas

With the exception of the app drawer, but that will probably be easily disabled. Depending on how that works, though, I might not even mind. I just want to replace this damn Cliq already!

  • jazzmanmonty

can’t wait for this phone, but like another poster said, get over the H thing.. here’s my feeling about this new news. nothing special other than knowing that its vanilla. i’m more of a hardware guy…u know when u walk into best buy and ur buying a laptop and all 20 down the row have windows 7 (loaded with a bunch of crap trial software=similar to sense/touchwiz ui)…now whats ur sell? the hardware! so big deal 2.2 is on there..nice to know its vanilla, but 2.2 is the standard now like windows 7. i’m still hoping the main sell..the hardware..is going to be awesome. most excited about the 720p recording (with hopes that that means an hdmi out) screen size, though 4 would be nice, i see people running around with their bricks like the evo and they are massive!!!! i’m hoping that once in my hand the 3.7 doesn’t seem small. but people get over the H, get over the 2.2, its about the features!!!!!!! hope monday or tuesday brings more news from tmobile!

    • jazzmanmonty

but a quick note about the H LOL…i have a rooted G1 and it fluctuates from 3g to H here and there…now the weird thing about it is i live in a south chicago suburb area, and have been getting the h since probably spring. BUT Hspa hasn’t been introduced in chicago yet nor subarbs…nor does it show on the tmobile hspa map. hmmm i guess its a mystery!

  • Rob

I cant wait for official specs of the g2. My only concern is if it potentially has a 800mhz CPU instead of 1ghz+ because of Android 3.0 requirements. I think it would be a foolish move to release a hot new device that wont even run an update that will be by the end of the year.

    • Chris

Those requirements were rumors. Google said themselves that’s not true.

      • Mahmoud

that processor’s maximum is 1ghz but people think that T-mobile will lower it to 800mhz so if ever gingerbread requires a 1ghz all it takes it a software update to increase it to 1ghz again. and this processor can compete with motst of the 1ghz processors available today.

  • Miguel

Love this phone. But newer HTC phones have a Ffc. I have also read that Gingerbread will have video calling baked in in for Google Talk.

  • somebody

the processor is the deciding factor for me right now, if its 800 i dont think im buying if it is 1ghz plus or hell, even dual core ( fingers crossed ) im on board. I dont really care if the screen isn’t 4.

    • graziano

Hello you should read a little more about how the processor is built then actually reading into numbers! It is a scorpion not a snapdragon. It performs to the same exact standard as the snapdragon but will be able to handle open GL graphics much better then the snap dragon. A real life example was like when AMD was making processors that were like 1.5 ghz but they were like the same power as an intel 2.0 ghz. Its all about the architecture of the processor not the numbers.

  • jazzmanmonty

DAVID, how about a poll: who’s pre-ordering/waiting til release date/waiting on mytouchhd specs first?

  • Just some dude

It says all that Google has to offer, I wonder if Tmo will cripple the native tethering.

  • Chad

If this thing ships with vanilla, I’m buying it instantly. I’m so sick of manufacturers throwing their custom skin on top of an OS and slowing down our updates. If they’re introducing a cutting edge UI with Android 3.0, I don’t want it marred by a different skin. I want Android how it’s meant to be, and with that, I also want it to be a simple handshake away from updates directly from Google like my Nexus was. I have a Vibrant now, and I can tell you this right now, OS updates (not phone-specific tweaks that Samsung will release periodically) are going to be very few, and most likely stop after this September roll out.

    • mtnman

Chad I’m with ya. I have a Vibrant as well and I installed AWD on it. Although it’s not Vanilla android because Samsung’s OS is still hiding in the background, it at least gives me the look and feel of a Vanilla. And an added benefit is that it don’t run my battery down as much.

      • mtnman

Opps, I ment to type ADW not AWD. Sorry for the typo.

  • ZMeister

The real phone has a 4.3″ screen, no physical keyboard. Rumored pictures are not correct

    • TMOprophet

whatever, I suppose they pulled these photos out there ass then huh?

      You know nothing

I know this is not suppose to be possible. My vibrant said “H” on it for like 5 seconds once, then it disappeared and never came back. I’m not rooted. Was that possible or was I seeing things?

ok dudes, here is my plan…..upgrade from my G1 to G2 with a 2yr contract….wait 2 yrs for the G3, upgrade then…..by then, android 4.5 or 5.0 should be out, prob 8ghz phone,1 TB storage, interactive apps, complete cloud storage…god knows what else…prob even be a dock to interface with your car.

umm 8ghz phone, I don’t think thats going to hapen, not even in the next 10 yrs.
chances are phones will max out at 2.5, then they will start adding more cores.

desktop processors have reached there limit of about 3ghz. we have been stuck between 1-3ghz for the past 10 yrs now. there are limitations to silicon, die size, manufacturing.

I predict we might hit 2ghz phones, then we will see like 800dual core, 1ghz dual core, then 800 quad core 1ghz quad core etc.

but 8ghz phone? umm ya no.

That’s exactly what I’m talking about. Maybe this way we’ll see 3.0 right when the Nexus One gets it >=] T-Mo made their best move yet with this phone.

So….G2 is more in line with the new philosophy of Android builds…..stock Android with additional widgets and apps for differentiation. I am on board. Don’t want custom skins.

just wanted to know if any one knows if htc is going to use sense on the g2 or is it a stock rom with better google? i have a vibrant now wanted to know should i switch to the g2 or stay with vibrant?

    • just me

      g2 will be stock android

      • ihatefanboys

be careful dude, some people require “proof of life” when it comes to what this phone has, or can do…. they wont believe “stock” unless it comes from t-mobile…lol….not everyone, just the ones that feel the need to flame the people that are “almost certain”….put have your links by the ready…..im with u, it will have STOCK and rival the droid X, it already has a newer processor than both the droid and the vibrant…to assume it wont beat them or at the very least match or rival them is short-sighted….to assume the G2 wont get 3.0 because of rumored specs is retarded…..we will be happy, the WHINERS will want more, and then theyll cry….lol :-)

glacier is not going have dual core proccessor; its going 2 newer 7×30 board found in the G2; so all the benchmarks shown about the glacier are the same for the g2 so that makes the g2 more incredible

The People over at Andriod Guys are saying that BoyGenius has pics of a phone for Verizon that a Nexus One and has a 4.3 inch screen, 8 mega pix cam, kickstand, 3.5mm handset jack, and a FFC. After all the big dogs have feasted, Tmo gets the scraps.

      the G2 is not “scraps” 4.3 inch screen=too big….kickstand ? who cares…..8 mega pix cam ? 5 is good enuf, especially with 720p recording…G2 will hav a 3.5mm headset jack….and a FFC is just a waste…

will the verizon phone have …stock android ? every single google app ? access to the fastest network currently available ? consistent updates from verizon ? a brand new processor, that according to reports is in line with the benchmarks from the htc glacier. ??

well if verizon is so appealing, please leave the “scraps” to those that will gladly take them
