I tried the anycut thing and it didnt work then i rebooted then tryied again ….i clicked on the DM and didnt do any thing so i pressed menu button and it said update software so they sent me a notifcation that will give me update and a hour so after an hour passes i’ll let ya now

I JUST DISCOVERED TODAY USING THE ANYCUT WAY WHEN YOU GO INTO YOUR SHORTCUT AND CLICK DM MANAGMENT YOU DONT HAVE TO CLICK MENU AND SOFTWARE UPDATE AND CLICK ONE HOUR THE UPDATE CAME IN EXACTLY ONE HOUR GOOD LUCK!!!!!

I gave up… I succumbed to the T-Mo gods and purchased a touch 3g slide. 100 times better phone the BH2. It works like it’s supposed to. Screen is excellent, OS is fast, Android 2.1, nice build quality, I really do like it. Took the easy pay option with no interest. It was worth it to me. Hanging on to the BH2 for a bit and up on the block it goes. No more Samsung anything for me.

No go, I’m toast. I insisted on something better than what T-Mo was offering me and they didn’t budge. Basically it was get a refurbished Behold ll, refurbished Mytouch 3g, refurbished Cliq XT or take a hike. I didn’t like any of those oprions so, I’m stuck for now for now I’m stuck with my dang B2 with 1.5 on it. I did send the big shots one final email stating my disgust and distaste with T-Mo. They aren’t doing a heck of a lot to keep up their customer loyalty which EVERY business needs to do.

Excellent Bluto, glad you’re making progress. Nothing new here. I also contacted T-Mo (again)… have heard nothing for roughly 9 days. Guess I’m SOL… The BH2 continues to do whatever it wants when it wants… it rebooted on me right in the middle of a call day before yesterday… that was really weird.
I’m waiting the rest of the week, if no word from T-Mo then I’m done with the phone and will find a replacement. Also checking out Verizon. Prices are a bit higher but they have good coverage and nice phones. Hate to go CDMA but it’s an option.

Update: I received another phone call fro T-Mo to my surprise. The rep told me that they could switch my phone for a “refurbished” Motorola Cliq XT. I told him I’d research the phone and get back to him. The Cliq XT isn’t the best phone. Comparable to the B2. Camera, eventhough 5mpxl, worse than the B2′s ( I actually like B2′s camera. Panorama is also very cool on it) And…….the Cliq XT is “supposed” to get Android 2 but, it’s not out yet for the Cliq XT. Sound familiar? It would ship to me with 1.5 or 1.6 on it. No thank you. They’re supposed to get back to me.

I’m glad they’re taking me and my complaint a bit more seriously.

I never got the 1.6 update either and can’t get it as much as I try. I think I’m going ahead and root my B2. Everyone, generally speaking, who’s rooted their B2 is really, really happy with the results. It’s not an easy process for the novice (like me) but apparently worth it.

Yeah, looks like early birds got the worm. Now T-Mo is not just jumping in and willing to help us BH2 owners left in the OS upgrade dust. I’m still awaiting 1.6. I don’t think it’s coming to So Cal. This BH2 situation bothers me enough to want to buy another phone. I won’t go AT&T because I live in an AT&T dead zone and I don’t like their customer service. Maybe Sprint, but there is talk of T-Mo and Sprint merging so any nifty handsets to come out of this are likely to be years from now. Given T-Mo is GSM and Sprint is CDMA, who knows how they would work this. Guess that’s not our problem. I haven’t read any updates to law suits and the like on the BH2 issue, it seems to be quiet in the media. Anyone hear anything new?

Well, I think the T-Mo exec’s. might be getting swamped with emails because, I also emailed them with my complaints and also got a call within a day of doing so. But, they basically offered me didly squat. The rep also told me that the 3g Slide was on backorder but didn’t even offer it as a no cost replacement. He told me that I “may” qualify for a damn discount on another phone or they could send me a replacement B2. Of course, I was shooting for Alejandros deal. Nope, the rep was not backing down. The more tried to convince him that T-Mo was deceptive about releasing Android 2.0 for the B2, the more he argued that wouldn’t have benefited much from having 2.0. Insane, no?

Well, I walked away from the ordeal with nothing but my d**k in my hand. All I could do is just threatened to cancel my contract with T-Mo and move over to AT&t. Sucks.
