  • TP

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMAZING!!! I can’t wait till march 24th!!

  • coloradogray

I think someone in lawrenceville, ga is going to be getting a talking too.

Still, it is a beautiful phone and the sense ui is why. I am going to pick this up as soon as possible.

    • zomb

Yup. Leaking info is a fireable offense as “they” are trained not to show the public anything. I mean it’s great for bloggers but not for the employee.

      • ItsMichaelNotMike

Do you really think T-Mo is unaware that customers come into stores, take a pic or two of the phone, then post it on the Net? Don’t be so naive.

Have you ever noticed that these pics always pop up just a few weeks before a products debut. It’s like clockwork.

It happened with the Touch Pro, and on this Site. I remember it was a northwest store.

And so now this “leak” happened again. Oh come on. T-Mo wants this to happen. I would not be surprised if T-Mo instructs the people who have these phones on which date they can allow “unauthorized” pics.

It’s called building excitement, interest and anticipation.

      • Funnyman

I participate in the FUT (Field User Trials) program with a certain cell phone provider. You sign a non disclose and are instructed NOT TO PUBLISH OR ALLOW PUBLISH of the item you are testing. The apparent “leak” is breaking the rules.

Think of it this way, how is T-Mobile to ambush the market with a new product that a competitor does not have when the trusted employee “leaks” out the info. This will give competitors a heads up and more time to react before the product is released.

You might classify it as “building excitement, interest, and anticipation” but it’s really and truly breaking the rules. I for one see both sides, but ultimately it’s always in favor of the business when there is a non disclose involved.

  • Aston

that phone is WAY too big.

    • Davidohio

Actually it is not as big as it looks, unless you are a small person. It just looks big in the pictures but it is quite the perfect size, not to small, not to big.

      • benjitek

If you don’t mind having a phone that isn’t pocketable.

      • chaoscentral

What do you mean isn’t pocketable?! Its a little wider than the iphone, im talking less than a quarter inch, and its a little taller. There’s just ALOT LESS bezel on this device. Jesus, people are fucking morons when it comes to things they havent seen in person….. The photos make it look big because of the screen, end of story.

      • ItsMichaelNotMike

I like the way some people chime in when they know nothing about this phone. What a bunch of posers.

benjitek I mean you. Do you have the phone? How do you know it won’t fit in a pocket.

I made a template from cardboard to the exact measurements of the HD2. It will fit anywhere most smartphones will go.

And compared to my Touch Pro2 it is not that much bigger. This is because you measure all the way around. if you do that, compared to the Touch Pro2 the HD2 is only 1/4″ bigger on each side. That’s not much.

    • http://tmonews Christian

You must have small hands; please people, stop complaining about the size, if you don’t like it, don’t get it. As easy as that!!!!!! 2 me is the perfect size. Just a Great Big Screen!!! Can’t wait 2 get it.

      • B

It’s too big for me, and it has nothing to do with the size of my hands. It’s just more than I need the size of my phone to be. I look at it and feel like I would be carrying a PMP around in my pocket. I would never say it’s too big for you or for anyone else, but I’m still allowed to say it’s too big.

    • Oce

If u r the type that wears those tight, gay arse, nut-hugger jeans, then u might b a…. sorry, got side-tracked. Yeah, this isn’t ur phone.

  • J-Hop2o6

NICE!! i can’t wait for the TP3 tho (i need a keyboard).. hopefully it has close specs (or better) than the HD2

    • Terry

I thought the same but the screen is so massive you dont even notice the keyboard is onscreen, and sense makes you forget its winmo

    • Sam

I am torn between waiting for a superphone (1GHz+) with a physical keyboard or going for the Nexus One. Swype may be the answer, but it is not working on my G1 (probably because I have it rooted with Eclair and Swype thinks it’s a Nexus One.)

  • andrew

this is crazy looking phone just iwsh was android but it still ok with windows mobile

  • andrew

    wish it has a kickstand

    • TehAndroid

Love this phone can’t wait to get it. If you get the extended life battery it comes with a kickstand.

      • Jose

Do you know if that’s available in the US? I can only find the UK version.

      • MoJo..HD@

Jose…OMG….you are so late…lol….(man I’ve been following this phone since day one…once i heard T-Mo nabbed it…I was so happy….But im glad people don’t really know about this phone…It just makes it more unique once i get it..(thats one reason y I’m not to big of a fan of the Iphone…EVERYONE HAS IT…..AND JOSE IT COMES OUT THIS MONTH!!!!!!

    • ItsMichaelNotMike

They sell kickstands. Also, there’s an extended battery that comes with a kickstand, which I am getting.

    • Oce

They make an extended battery w/battery cover that has integrated kickstand. But it is hideous! Hopefully they’ll make one for standard batt.

  • http://twitter.com/ericisthename ericisthename

well it looks like im leaving android after a year and a half.. that is until this thing gets xda’d

    • greg

haha Me too! maybe like this ui better tho, ive had g1 for year and half so just plain old android… havent tried ne other android tho… woah sorry stoned…. haha

  • Jose

It comes with games pre-installed? This just keeps getting better and better. Anyone know if that Ferrari game is any good?

    • Matthew

It comes out in the US on the 25th of March. I havent played it but it looks pretty good.

      • Deaconclgi

All the reps that I have spoken to, said the release date is the 24th of March.

      • Jose

I know there’s an iPhone version as well. Anyone played that?

  • Lebron1189

    Yesssss!! Can’t wait =)

  • Graz

Alright I can’t take it anymore it is killing me. I have had the HD2 for a week already, besides signing 4 different non-disclosure agreements so NO I won’t be telling anyone anything at all about pricing, release date at all etc. I hate people who do the crap he did too ::sigh::. BUT I am ALLOWED to tell you that I do have it and yes it is amazing. I have had HTC phones for 5 years, dash’s, MDA’s, Wing’s, Shadows one and two, G1, Mytouch etc…. I LOVEEEEE android but this new windows mobile and the HD2 are freak-en unbelievable. Trust me get it the moment you can this thing has features that will blow you away. Who ever is in lawrenceville did this… your a moron I hope they confiscate your phone, yes they can take it for violating the agreement.

    • Mockerfab4

Why is it a bad thing to share? This is free marketing for Tmo, that they don’t have to pay for. Heaps of people here on BGR and TMO can’t wait for this phone. The more people that know, the better for sales and the less on marketing they have to spend which means it can go towards other things to hopefully improve service & quality. I just don’t get this veil of secrecy on this phone. It’s been out in Europe for half year, and what they are showing on these pics isn’t secret. Tmo has already announced some of these features (Blockbuster, Transformers, etc). What’s the BFD?

    • ItsMichaelNotMike

I don’t for a second believe these are leaks. Every phone that debuts has a cycle of “leaks” that are so typical as to be predictable.

And if these were real leaks, leakers would not be so stupid to leave evidence to where T-Mo could find out who they are.

      It starts with “leaked”:

      Specs and concept

      Specs – Actual

Blurry shot, usually only one, sometimes with a background to lend to the pics authenticity.

      Couple of blurry shots.

Then three to four clear shots.

      Then price list.

      The debut date.

Of course if these were leaks, T-Mobile would go after the leaker question any blog or site publishing.

And if these were leaks they wouldn’t always follow a predictable track, every time, on every site.

Next in the line of leaks… a blurry (cell phone quality)video on YouTube.

Followed by a really clear YouTube video.

By the way Graze, you are authorized to post how great the phone is? Who said that? T-Mo? What did they say, “Don’t say a word except how great the phone is.” Yeah right. If T-Mo said that that would get leakers off the hook because they could say they are doing the same as you.

Lastly, these pics are no different than T-Mo’s official press release photo (except the T-Mo press photo is really clear) and these don’t reveal anything different than what’s been on the Net for months.

    • mikeeeee

      one silly question, UMA?

    • Hawarr

When I was NDA’d there was nothing to sign. Just an email sent to me informing me I was now NDA’d. Did you notice the source commenting later that they are not an employee of T-Mo. Its not nice to call people Moron’s and also lie about your importance in life to have 4 NDAs.

  • Graz

By the way it shows which college he goes there too, t-mobile regularly checks this site and they will find you my friend.

    • Deaconclgi

I don’t work for T-Mobile or go to that college. Those were someone elses keys on the table. I do apologize for not “hiding” the location and I hope that no one that actually works for T-Mobile gets in trouble. In my haste to pass on the photos, I didn’t check to see what revealing info was in them. You can only see so much on a 3.5inch 800×480 screen while trying to contain the excitement. I guess I have to take the “Scoops 101” class…….and do better next time.

      • Mockerfab4

So sad. Terrible to think that people can get in trouble for this! If this happens, I will lose major respect for Tmo and there actions!

      • ItsMichaelNotMike

Just ignore Graz. No one appointed him the leak police. He is being silly.

So these are not T-Mo’s leaks? Interesting, that makes them more fun then.

      • ItsMichaelNotMike

Just ignore Graz he is an idiot self-appointed watchdog of illegal goings-on in T-Mo retail stores.

You can tell that he is a moron by assuming the keys were yours and saying “the T-Mo law” was going to catch up to you. LOL.

I wish the reflection showed a police badge so Graz would call the PD to report an officer’s illegal conduct, snapping pics over at the local T-Mobile store. And since the pics were posted on T-Mo News they could everyone for conspiracy.

And I’m part of the conspiracy too since two days ago I suggested to people to call local stores, see if they had an HD2, and to surreptitiously take pics if they could. So guess I better turn myself in.

T-Mo knows full well that customers are taking pics of the phones in-store and “leaking” them online.

    • ItsMichaelNotMike

Graz you tin foil hat moron, this is apparently a CUSTOMER who went into T-Mobile store.

You saying that T-Mo is going to go after him. LOL.

      • Graz

Listen boy, it’s not t-mo that made the NDA it was HTC themselves. Clearly it states not even customers are allowed to see it. It’s a violation of trust is what is important. It’s like your boss or your friend trust you with something so you can learn it or play with it. Then you go and stab them in the back. If you can’t honor your word then your worthless.

  • robert

This phone looks so sweet. I have been waiting for the perfect phone for close to a year. I’ve been eligible for an upgrade since May 09. I really wanted a high end android phone but since TMO hasn’t delivered it yet I have finally settled on the HD2. In the end I use my phone a lot for work so having Office apps is best plus this baby will do so much more and the UI covers up WINMO nicely. At $199 it is a great buy. I assumed TMO would price this at $300+ but TMO is learning from past mistakes. Hell I paid $349 for my Wing so $199 is a steal.

  • money mo

Overrated. Telenav is $9.99 per month. Tetris is just a demo so it will cost you. And android market. Not to mention can’t upgrade to the newer OS ever!!!!

    • Quasar

I agree with you. It’s a nice phone but Google sells the perfect phone for T-Mo customers with all the Android goodness that the HD2 is missing. People who buy the HD2 on contract will be overpaying for the phone on the EM plans. If they do get it on contract, hopefully they have a grandfathered plan that gives all the features of EM+ but at a cheaper rate than the EM+. If not, then it will be best to go off contract with EM+, pay $20/month on a no interest payment plan and NOT have to pay $199.99 up front.

      • Mockerfab4

Perfect Android phone? Where? Because the two I had before shipping it back crashed all the time, had wireless connectivity issues, made me miss appts, didn’t sync my contacts and couldn’t open PDF’s with Pop3. It was so perfect, that every other Android fan suggested I get a “rom” because it got rid of all the bugs. I didn’t take their advice and instead happily shipped it back. That moment was probably the only perfect experience I had with it.

I’d gladly overpay if it meant having a phone that worked. I’ve had WM so I already know it does more than the less then perfect Android experience I had.

      • Quasar

When I say perfect, I mean the closest anybody has come to it so far in a world where nothing is ever perfect. Sure, there will be better Android phones than the Nexus One but even they will have their flaws, and we can’t use them right now in this moment. I have had a few troubles here and there with my N1 but not near as many as you did. Maybe the HD2 will be a better phone for you since it has WM on it but I would be amazed if nobody has any problems with it or the phone’s functions. It will see its fair share of returns too. I’m just saying that most people – not all people -, who really want an Android phone and can’t wait, can get the best one on the market right now and will be happy with their choice.

  • Deaconclgi

WOW! Those are some very clear pictures!!!!

    • waiting4hd2

Thanks a ton for the wonderful close up pics of the beast…its gorgeous…drool…

      • Deaconclgi

        You’re welcome.

  • TmoNinja

Oh dear lord, it’s pictures of a phone that has been out overseas for awhile now. Yes it has some spec bumps and a few new apps, but it’s not like he disclosed price or sales date. Leave the guy alone. Also, next time, keep your keys or any identifying info out of the picture.

  • abel

Someone in another thread said the release date will be delayed past the 24th due to waiting for software updates from some 3rd party application vendor.

    • Inuyasha

That’s ONE person and that person has not shown any proof to backup his claim. Nothing has shown up anywhere that this has been delayed. Everything still shows that this is set for launch on the 24th, and I’ll definitely be first in line at my local store that morning to pick one up! I’ll be sitting in my car tethering my TP2 to my netbook sometime early that morning waiting for the store to open, lol! :D

  • gargoyle999

2 1/2 weeks away, giving training and phones to T-Mo employees. What does T-Mo think is going to happen. Maybe this is T-Mo’s way to save money on advertising?

Can’t believe no official announcements yet!

    • Deaconclgi

The only reason my wife wants this phone is because I have told her and shown her stuff from this site and other sites. Presented videos and specs and with todays hands on, she is 100% sold. Take the internet away and the in store visit and her knowledge and purchase goes back to ZERO! No wonder Tmo is still 4th.

I hope T-Mobile wisens up and heavily advertises ahead of release. They need to spread the word and act confident that they are able to deliver what customers want at affordable prices.

      • Mockerfab4

AMEN! I totally understand disclosure, but if TMO will seriously take action, I will lose all respect for this company. The phone is not NEW. I can understand if this was the iphone 4G OR the new WM7 phone, but this phone has been in Europe and only minor application differences has been added that Tmo has already announced.

  • mike

wow this is the tmobile phone im actually speechless about

  • Victor

I can not wait any more. I think i have looked at every bit of information, every pic, every video that i could find on this phone. I will be at my local TMO early on the 24, I have already taken the day off.

    • Wilma Flintstone

I’ll be the first at my Tmobile location on March 24th to get this great piece of technology. I’ve had to settle with the Nokia 3220 for almost 4 years, I am determined to be first in line on the 24th.

    • Twitch110

Same freakin here!! I’m honestly exhausted from always looking up the newest bit of info that other websites might have. I feel like ive seen every video review on the internet. I need to buy it just so i can have some normalcy back in my life. That, and my wife is going absolutely insane with seeing me look at the HD2 like it’s some kind of naughty porn. This nightmare will soon be over in about two weeks. Uggghhh…..

      • Mockerfab4

Got the day off too and will definitely be in line at the Tmo store that day. I’ll probably call ahead and make sure they have it out in BFE where I live.

    • http://tmonews Christian

I agree with you Victor, every single day i look pics, videos, etc. Can’t freaking wait any more!!!!!!

  • abel

So I assume that screen protectors can work without causing problems of sensitivity for the capacitive screen, though I do wonder what ones are also good about not damaging the screen as they’re installed and removed and so on.
Invisibleshield? Others? Or does this phone come with a protector installed and/or in the box?

What’s a good hard shell case for this for pocket use? I’ve used folding hinged aluminium ones for PDAs in the past that seemed good, though maybe there are some other good options now?

What kind of cables are needed for this? Micro usb for data? Charging also over USB, or is there a distinct charge port?

    • Joe Pa

Boxwave screen protectors are the best imo.

  • Matthew

I absolutely love this phone and Windows Mobile and am definitely going to be among the first to get one, but whatever happened to the D-Pad, or something of that nature!

  • Joe Pa

Are those full versions of the games or just demos?

    • Deaconclgi

Iirc, there was an option to buy the Ferrari game at the main menu. That was the only game that I tested and it was for a few seconds. I will say this, the loudspeakers are fantastic, the game was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO loud that everyone in the store started looking around.

I may be wrong about purchasing the game though, it “could” have been a link to purchas other Gameloft games but I am certain it had the word “Buy..” at the main menu.

  • Nitaino

    HD2 rocks

  • ahh

Man if someone is able to hack this phone and be able to put android or if they can somehow in the near future make it a windows 7 phone this phone is going to be awesome I just can’t believe they say just because the new windows mobile phone has three buttons athis one has four it wont be able to upgrade from 6.5 to 7. To me it really doesn’t matter because I’m still getting this phone hell yeah HTC HD2

  • Polokidd

I swear this phone would be amazing if it sported the andriod os

    • The Hammer

Holy camel nuts…….We aint heard that but a million times……douche

      • Cybersedan

LMAO Right… I’m an Android fan and I’m tired of hearing it to, people the phone is WinMo, like it or leave it!!

      • Mockerfab4

LOL! Funny, I’m thankful it doesn’t have Android. Finally a phone from Tmo I want.

  • Oreo

Will there be a free Gps feature on this beauty or do we need to pay the $9.99 for the damn telenav cuz thats a feat. I’m miss the most from my google maps on my G1

    • gargoyle999

I would like to know this as well. What are we going to need in order to use this for turn by turn directions?

    • RCornelous

It looks like Google Maps is available for Windows Mobile. Go to download.com and search for Google Maps for Windows Mobile. I think it has the navigation feature just like Android.

  • rawhide85

IMO the best SP for this powerhouse is the Vikuiti™ DQC-160 from protectionfilms24.com. After much research, this SP will not effect response, distort screen or change the tactile feel.

  • ryan

stop sayin stupid crap like it needs to have andriod. If anything i want it to sport WM7 when it comes time. Im sick of people tryin to post whore about andriod and how they want it on the hd2, its not going to have it so just give it a rest.

  • Wilma Flintstone

The second they release a template, I am creating a Tego/Custom Skin for mine. I already know what I’m going to put on it.

  • Oreo

Is there a Free Turn by Turn app on this thing cuz I’m kinda of Cheapo and paying outright price for this thing is killing me enough already will there be an app like the google maps on the G1 with free GPS cuz I’m not going to go back to My Garmin Gps :(

    • tchez27

Unfortunately, I dont think this phone will support Google navigation although it appears it will carry google maps. Google navigation is exclusive to Google’s Android devices. I believe Google voice will need a WM app install to work with this phone also. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong.

      • RCornelous

Google Maps is in the Windows Marketplace, so it looks like this will be able to be downloaded to the phone…

    • tchez27

@ Deaconcigi, assuming you were able to take these pics from a local TMo store. Did you have an inside track on the person or were the reps willingly showing customers? I’d like to venture out to my local store to see if I can get a glimpse of this beast

      • Deaconclgi

I did an online search for local TMo stores and called the first one and said “Do you have an HD2 or Nokia Nuron that I can try out?” I was put on hold and the rep came back and said yes. I then said I would be coming over soon. So I drove over with my family and they gave both phones (Nokia Nuron included) up to play with for about 15 minutes total. I couldn’t get much play time in due to my wife and kids hogging them. I don’t even know the people that work there. I suggest people just call there local stores and ask to demo the unit and then tell them you are coming over. When I got to the store, I said “I am the guy who called to see the HD2 and Nuron” They said ok. I thought WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was easy!

      • Deaconclgi

When I think about it, I am no match for the real Ninjas that contribute to this site. I’m just a random guy with a Nokia lol.

    • RCornelous

Google Maps is available for Windows Mobile…

  • tchez27

I called TMo to see if there was any talk about taking pre-orders for this phome. Of course the rep told me he didn’t know. I really hope they consider this option, i don’t want to be in line with the masses on March 24th. It’d be nice if we could pre-order it and they would have it delivered on that day, like Christmas 9 months early.

    • gargoyle999

I don’t think the masses are going to know about this phone!

      • MikeB

I second that, there won’t be any lines for this Phone. I believe people were saying the same about the Touch Pro 2. I waited a week before getting my Touch Pro 2, and will be purchasing the HD2 after maybe a month after release. HTC and Tmobile haven’t promoted the HD2 that much if any. Only we, tech savy fans, know about the HD2. HTC/Tmo should have been marketing the HD2 ever since the convention, not iPhone marketing level but maybe Droid level marketing.

Also quit posting “should have Android on it,” I believe there will be a version of this phone for Android soon.

And last, Winmo is not as bad as people say it is. Yes, it needs an upgrade but it’s functional to the point that it is not a has been. My Touch Pro 2 rocks, been flashing a new ROM every month, currently using Energy Leo by NRG, a great Developer/Chef.

  • Oreo

Thats really ashame but will there be any type of FREE GPS app on this device

  • MoniQ

My 1st post and i’d like to thank all of you for all the great tips and news. I’ve been waiting to jump from iPhone and AT&T to tmobile. I’ve decided this is the new phone for me. I have 2 newbie questions for you WM experts:
1- does WM support exchange email with access to all the public folders & calendars on a corporate website?
2- can you actually edit excel spreadsheets on the phone or just view them?

Thanks and wish it was March 24th already!

    • mmaxxsooner

No expert here but in answer to your question.
      1. Yes exchange and wm go hand in hand.
      2. If my blackberry can edit excel then I am positive a wm phone will be able. You may have to purchase the docstogo program but I’m sure it will be capable. The only reason I say you may have to purchase is that it looks like tmob is pushing this as a multimedia powerhouse so they may actualy cut out some productivity parts, that would be silly but possible. Now to find a store to let me play with one.

  • T

EXCITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plus its the first T-Mobile phone with mobile TV!

  • kingbinny

oh wow, i live in lawrenceville, ga. im def going to the tmo store tom

  • damien

Device is amazing, battery life is amazing, already watched transformers on it, plus listened to music for about 30 minutes, and still had plenty of battery life.. The screen is bigger, slightly bigger than the iphone. There is no disclosure signed so not sure whay that one person said that, i too work for t-mobile, and never had to do that even in the meeting we went to this past week. It is coming out on the 24th as well, so havent heard of any delays

    • Mockerfab4

Wheeee!!! Thanks for the clarification on the release dates and the insider tips.

    • ItsMichaelNotMike

“There is no disclosure signed so not sure why that one person said that”

It’s usually posters who like to feel important by having something sinister or depressing to say. (E.g., that person who said the HD2 debut is delayed. He said that just to get a rise out of everyone.)

The only innocent aspect of their conduct is that they sometimes make moronic unfounded assumptions as support for their comments, such as the local stores given demo HD2s had to sign non disclosure agreements.

That person clearly does not understand the contradiction of giving a demo unit while saying “sign this promising you won’t let a soul see this demo unit” and the impossibility of enforcing an NDA when you give the phone to a few hundred people spread out all over the U. S. who mill about the sales floor.

  • rolo

any1 know when the android version or an android compatible version is set to drop on t-mobile???

    • Mockerfab4

It’s not (Thank gawd!). The Android version of the HD2 is called the Supersonic and it will be released by Sprint. The closest specs you’ll get to this phone is the N1. I’d google the Supersonic. There are many threads, articles, etc posted about it online.

Alright I want this phone in my lap right now not on the 24th the wait is killing me how long did the battery actually last @Damien

Hopefully Provost doesn’t read these forums. We probably saw each other at Atlantic Station on the 4th. Loving the phone, glad to know we are in the same market.

I for one won’t be giving any information about it until it is released so please don’t waste time and ask me. What I can say is that T-Mobile is heading to the top with the best devices and the lowest rate plans.

      • efjay

Heading to the top? I dont see T-Mo heading anywhere when they have such a good phone yet they flat out refuse to promote it in any way, despite seemingly packing it with lots of extras. Yet a low-end android phone is plastered all over their website and gets prominent TV advertsing. No, T-Mobile thinks small and will remain small.

      • Mockerfab4

I don’t mind it small..that’s what keeps me a TMO Customer all these years. I look at those dumb ads VZW and ATT are constantly competing with and those 2 can battle it out for customers, because the customers end up paying for it with their high monthly subscriber fees.

I’m all for keeping prices low, word of mouth marketing and good customer service. The minute $$ is spent on million $$$ marketing ads, means less for staff employment and higher consumer fees. They’ve got a short shelf life in marketing this phone thanks to WM7. Hopefully they’ll save that for something bigger.

I have BIG HANDS so its perfect for me!!!

SO is March 24th the go date for reals???

  • zomb

apparently no one knows the meaning of signing a non disclosure agreement and how it protects the company.

    • Mockerfab4

Protect the company from what???? This phone isn’t a secret…

  • Keebler

Played with it for about 3 hours at work the other day. I am a die hard blackberry fan, yet I will be ordering this device and putting it on a second line. It truelly makes you forget it is windows mobile. Watching Transformers on it was like watching a small big screen tv, so crystal clear. Also the ability to instantly create a single login hotspot tether is genius.

I noticed a few of you discussing screen protectors and since this will be the 1st capacitive screen device I’ve owned I’ve obviously limited experience with them. I was under the assumption that the glass of Cap screens was WAY more scratch resistant, yet WAY less impact resistant than resistive screens. And judging by this video: http://pocketnow.com/hardware-1/htc-hd2-scratch-test
it appears as a screen protector for the HD2 is unnecessary?

Maybe some of you experienced Cap Screen users could fill me in?

  • xtiab63

Nexus and Supersonic, there are your Android variations of the HD2 so top whinning that this would be awesome with Android since it already does on other HTC phones, let this one be for those who are happy(contented) with WM6.5(forever)

  • wojax2

can we please stop mentioning android with hd2?….this is not the google support forum.

    • Mockerfab4

LOL! Thank gawd, because the one thing the Google Support forum lacks is well, “support”.

  • Daemonfly

I’d love to get this phone but I have these small hands… ;)

    (Burger King)
