I don’t have an android phone yet, but I’m getting the cliq XT. I just don’t understand why if it’s a new phone, why have an older ver. of android. But I’ll guess I’ll see how it is when I get it. I love how the Sense UI looks, I like the clock and of course the weather widget is nice.

How many of you so called smart people with smart phones going to understand that TMOBILE DOES NOT CONTROL THE UPDATES FOR GOOGLE ANDROID (ANY) PHONES!!!!, T-mobile is a service provider-not a manufacturer of software updates?

Please stop calling 611 for updates you stupid people. You are wasting your time. Have patience. Does anyone know the difference in 1.6 and 2.0 any ways. Lemme guess, you just want it??? And you dont even really know why, youre just guessing.

OK, they claim that the update fried the sim card. I did not know or think that is possible but a new card and everything is working well. The other card was only 4 months old so it should not have died. Go figure. New card and service is back on.

Well I have a MT3G and it got the update this morning and updated fine without issue. My wife’s MT3G however is a different story. After the update it is saying that there is no sim card in the phone. Have tried removing it and such but no luck. Headed to a T-Mobile store to see if they can fix the issue. There were no errors reported after the update. Software is working fine, just no network.
