$30 difference makes this a fail from what you say is an ok price? If you keep the phone for two years, that's like $1.20 a month, divide that by 30 days....really, that $30 is the deal breaker...I don't get it.

Maybe a mytouch 3Gv2 with a faster processor, double the ram, the correct headphone jack, larger memory card and not dealing with what N1 owners are dealing with right now would be worth a $180/$400 price but sorry Tmobile, this one falls below most people's radars..but then again, it is a limited edition and for a certain target market which by the sounds of it, most of us are not in this target market. Let the Clapton music fans and guitarists out there have at it with this phone. I hope they love using the phone and T-Mobile's service.

The rest of us should just shut our pie hole and stick with an android phone we are happy with.

so I'm a bit confused, is it $180 just for the phone or is it $180 w/ upgrade/new plan?

I'm still using the G1 and I gotta say, it has been outlived numerous times. Saying that, I want the Nexus one but I don't have 550+ dollars to spend on a single phone so I figure I get the FMT and wait it out til the N1 is cheaper or a better phone is released. From what I read, the phone is not bad, especially with a 16 gb sdcard and improved specs.

You just gotta accept mobile companies are pushing up the costs of phones now

@ Zollars... your right nothing is free... but to add extra to something that's already out dated then charge more for the extras which some people may not care for is wrong. And so this isn't intended for me because I can't fill an 8gb memory card with music... your right... your right. But ahhh the ones who can fill a card with music... well they may not care to pay for the music by Eric Clapton... or if they are hugh music fans (which I guess I am not because I can't fill my card)... well those people may already have all the music that's pre-loaded on the phone... therefore let's charge them extra for songs they already have. I haven't heard anything about a better processor. A little extra ram yeah and the 3.5mm jack and 16gb card yeah... but nothing official on the processor. And like I said the original MyTouch was at WalMart for $98 so an extra $80 to most people for music and what little changes... is it really worth it? Heck for $80 I could probably buy all of Eric Claptons CDs. I think the most Tmobile should sell this for is $150... and that's even pushing it. $180 however is crazy unless it has the snapdragon 1Ghz processor in it... then $180 would be good.

Hahaha! So i'm supposed to be happy that i'm paying for crappy music that i'll never be listening to? I have already bought all the clapton i need. I don't need tmobile to do it for me. The phone=still a giant ripoff and not worth it. I guess i'm just ignorant. And anyone who uses their upgrade for this phone is a moron.
