Not to be outdone by Honolulu or Philadelphia, Salt Lake City Utah will officially find itself among the ranks of 3G cities tomorrow, September 20th. That’s right, SLC residents, you have asked, asked and asked again when magenta would bestow its 3G goodness upon you and your prayers have been answered. Dramatic? A little, but you haven’t seen the emails I have begging for a release date! Happy 3G hunting Salt Lake City fans!

I wonder if I will wake up to 3G, my expectations are very low though. AT&T is looking more and more appealing. We will see.

I have 3g an I’m in draper! So excited.. its still on and off, but still, when its loading in 3g its sooo amazing. Hopefully its fully up in the morning, way stoked on it. Before I was done typeing it went back to edge, an waiting on the 3g again to post.. and.. there it is! Woot woot!

Still good old 2G in West Jordan, I’m thinking that WJ has to get it if Draper does, we’re closer to Salt Lake proper. Hope I have it here in the morning

I’m in Riverton and 3G is up and running on my MyTouch3G. Make sure you uncheck the 2G only

H means HSDPA. It is a 3.5G up tp 7.2MB download. My country already support “H”.

I am in Ogden, utah…it is 3g sometimes 2g other times and then nothing at all. Going to take my phone into T-Mobile tomorrow if it continues to fluctuate like this.

3G in Riverton. Just ran a speedtest on my Android and got 844 down/128 up. Very nice!

I woke up this morning with 3G in Magna, lost it and went back to edge. I power cycled my phone and have kept 3G, in Magna, West Valley and here at work at SLC International Airport, I’m loving it.

Just ran a speed test i got an average of 648Kbits down and 300kbits up

Ran a test in layton, kaysville, woods cross, north salt lake and west valley 3G is a go

The 3G signal in Draper around 12th E 123th S is not good enough, it switch back to E sometimes.

3G on and off here in SLC. I’m getting a weak signal at my office right now, perhaps it’s better outside. Nice to hear Draper is online as well, perhaps home in Herriman will be as well. I expect coverage will be a little spotty while they get things sorted, but it’s working great when I see that nifty little 3G icon.

I had network issues, so I rebooted, and up popped the 3G icon. I almost didn’t believe it. :)

I have been 3G less for 2 hours in Cottonwood heights, went over into Holladay at 33rd S. and 23rd E. and nothing. Im at 6350 S. 3000 E. office area and nada. Please 3G, come back.
