this is confirmed information by Samsung that this galaxy has 192mb ram who ever published the specs made an error i guess or maybe it was pre-release spec so maybe samsung decided to upgrade the RAM on this device but it is confirmed that it has 192mb

Galaxy Lite may be a cure but I hope it's Android or else it's a deal breaker. COME ON SAMSUNG..release it already!

Hey since this phone is samsung, does that mean that it wont require the data plan like all the other touch samsung phones? If so I will get this phone the day it comes out

The non-lite version is already in the wild. If you like the device just drop the money and get it. It is a great phone imo, I've had it for two weeks and am very glad I picked it up. Coming from the G1 it has felt like nothing but an upgrade. It doesn't feel like a brick in my pocket (it really is shockingly small and light in comparison) the screen is incredible, battery life is better, then obviously there is the headphone jack and built in storage. And yes the euro version that I bought from ebay Germany does have T-Mo's 3G. I was in Chicago this last weekend and made quite a bit of use of it for maps and sherpa.

T-Mobile will likely get the Lite version. Why? It's colorful. For whatever reason, tmo tends to stray away from white/black/silver combo on samsungs. Like being TOO professional might hurt business. Dimes to dollars we get the lite version (UMA?) while the non-lite fades into obscurity or heads to Sprint/Verizon.

i don't think there's a lack NOW like there used to be. On the smart phone end, you have the Curve 2, G1, myTouch, Touch Pro 2, Dash 3G, then the Behold and Memoir(and that other touchscreen samsung...the orange one lol)...if you wanna take it back a bit, you have the Pearl Flip(which I still think is an AWESOME phone), so I think it's made STRIDES over the past year. This time last year NONE of those phones were out. The first one to come out was the Pearl Flip back in September. That's 8 phones over the past year...thats ALOT if you ask me. Then on top of all of that the Gravity 2, the other full-keyboard samsung phone(which I still think is pretty decent in my opinion)...we have ALOT of samsung phones lol

The phone looks amazing (with 3.5mm headphone jack, and 5 megapixel camera), but isn't there still the issue with the phone only having 128MB of RAM?
