N900 Looking Official

After leaks, and an exhaustive review, the Nokia N900 has finally been been launched (wait, that seems a bit out of order). The final specs include:

  • 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual-LED flash
  • The power of the ARM Cortex-A8
  • up to 1GB of application memory
  • OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics acceleration
  • Mozilla-based Maemo browser with Adobe Flash 9.4 support
  • Quad-band GSM/EDGE, 900/1700/2100MHz UMTS/HSPA

Nokia is promising a “pc-like” experience in this handset sized, Maemo 5 powered, device and is expected to be adored by many at Nokia World next week.
