It will plow through android sales?! Are u serious!!!!? T-Mobile helped foundate android! If anything it’ll be on par with android sales. Not to mention all of the android devices upcoming, and future ones that finally catch-up to the rest of the world. What jussed passed with at&t bands? Not the se Xperia X2, codenamed rachel, with pressure sensitive touchscreen, the snapdragon proccessor, that’s gonna be running android 2.0? Nawww not that.

The problem is that T-Mobile only has a certain amount of control in the phone release dates. They have to gauge the initial interest in the phone and determine how many devices they need to launch with. If you don’t have the supply, then you have to decide whether to launch with a possible shortage of product or just hold off a couple weeks until you have the supply.

I doubt T-Mobile really cares if this phone will take away from Android sells. Cellular companies do not see as much profit in selling a phone as people might think. They make the money in the services they use on the phones. The TP2 and Mytouch have the same value to T-Mobile. Both are phones with high extra revenue in subscription services.

Uuuh yeah when was the last time u looked @ the 3g coverage map sir? And don’t blame tmo for their 3g problems blame the government, but don’t complain too hard or they’ll hate us like they do at&t.
