I have an 8900 and I keep getting a message telling me to upgrade to a plan with browsing everytime I try to open up App World. I already have a data plan. I tried to uninstall and install it again and it keeps on giving me the same message. Does anyone know a solution to this problem.

i am having the EXACT same issue can anyone help us??

to resolve it call ur network provider and make sure that that have got u connect correctly, it worked for me

Well, can’t connect either, but I downloaded it. Got the e-mail plan, which gives me access to the browswer to download, but can’t use it. Too bad.

hmm…I have the 8320 Curve and im getting an message… “upgrade your service that includes browsing and discover a world of possibilities at Blackberry App World. Contact your service provider….”

Well anyway, I have data with my minute plan so I dont know what it is saying that cuz I use the web on my curve all the time…

“A communication failure has occurred. The server may be busy, please try again later.
If the problem persists contact your service provider”
